Unlike most cave arenas, this one is situated both in the cave and a little bit outside, although mostly in the cave. When outside, weather-changing moves can affect the combatants, although it is only half as effective as usual due to overhead cover from some nearby trees. In the cave itself, the weather makes zero difference at all. Beyond that, this place isn't really all that remarkable in the least.

Thunder sends out first.

Go Pika and Psy!

Pika, use thunder wave on Vulpix, unless it protects, in which case use charge. Next, use charge if you haven't already. If you have, then use thunder bolt on Vulpix now. Finally, regardless of what happened on action 2, use Substitute ~15%

Psy, Taunt Vulpix immediately, unless you are targeted by magnemite to be paralyzed, in which case use Magic Coat to bounce it back. Next, if you didn't taunt Vulpix before, do so now, otherwise taunt magnemite instead. Finally, use Substitute ~10% on the last action. On any action, if either opponent tries to boost themselves in any way, including magnemite using magnet rise, then Snatch it.

Pika: Thunder Wave@Vulpix/Charge~Charge/Thunder Bolt@Vulpix~Substitute(15%)

Psy: Taunt@Vulpix/Magic Coat/Snatch~Taunt@Vulpix/Taunt@Magnemite/Snatch~Substitute(10%)/Snatch

First Vulpix use Safeguard and Magnemite use Thunderwaveon psy
Next Vulpix use Substitute for 10% and magnemite use Thunderwave on Psy unless the first one somehow worked in which case use it on Pika
Finally Vulpix use imprison and Magnemite use Signal beam on Psy

Vulpix Safeguard~Substitute 10%~Imprison
Magnemite Thunderwave @Psy~Thunderwave @Psy / Thunderwave @Pika~ Signal beam @Psy

Hm... for future reference you're starting inside the cave.

Waiting for the question I posed in the A&A guide to get answered before I start reffing.

Round 1 Start!!!

Vulpix wasted no time and set up a psychic barrier. A large, translucent green dome appeared around her and Magnemite. Pika, on the other hand, began charging up a static blast, which he finally let out in the form of a far-reaching wave of thunder. To his disappointment, though, the Thunder Wave fizzled out on contact with the fox's shield.

Magnemite, understanding that nothing could be fired out from within the barrier, hovered out of the green bubble and fired off a similar wave of electricity towards Psy, recoil driving him back into the barrier. Psy, thinking quick, glowed pink and took a defensive stance. The Thunder Wave bounced harmlessly off the humanoid, reversing direction and hitting the Safeguard, where it also fizzled out. Both electric-types glared at each other, angry their blasts had to be reflected.

But there were more important matters to deal with. Vulpix ran off outside the cave and dug up some muddy dirt. She began molding it into a canid forme, slowly imbuing her life energy into the device in the process. She stepped back and looked at her sloppy doppelganger with a pleased expression.

Pika, seeing that there was no point in trying to attack the clay Vulpix, rubbed his fur and began building up an intense electric charge. He began to glow yellow and stopped, crackling with electricity. Magnemite, on the other hand, was not building up his energy for himself, but for Psy. He launched another wave of electricity at the Ralts, who was taken by surprise by the blast and stumbled backwards, thunder coursing through her veins. Psy thought of some venomous words to tell the robotic ball, but when she opened her mouth all she could do was cry out in pain.

Vulpix, sensing that her opponents were going to try to mimic her actions, began performing an ancient psychic ritual. She zeroed in on her opponents' minds, and put a psyche lock on any techniques that looked familiar to her.

Psy, feeling something was off, tried to create a Substitute. To her surprise, she found herself incapable of remembering how you make a clone! She looked to her left and saw Pika in a similar predicament. Suddenly, Magnemite fired off a pulsing rainbow-coloured beam at the confused Pichu. Pika stumbled backwards, not sure what exactly was going on.

The referee stepped in and ended the torment.

Arena Notes: A bit of dirt is turned up where Vulpix made a sub.

Ref Notes:

I really do not know why I procrastinated so hard on this. Sorry, bros.
I think Imprison lasts for five actions; if I'm wrong, please correct me.
Speaking of Imprison, I don't think the size of the sub matters when it comes to being imprisoned.
Both Thunder Waves failed action 1; one bounced off the Safeguard, one was reflected and then bounced off the Safeguard.
thunder attacks first next round.

You said to use Snatch in case the opponent tried to boost itself in any way. Imprison does not count as a "boost".

For all three actions:
Vulpix use Hex on Psy, if Psy uses protect use Flamethrower on Pika and if both protect chill.
Magnemite Secret power Pika if Pika protects hit Psy with Signal beam and if both protect chill.

Vulpix
Hex @Psy / Flamethrower @Pika / Chill *3

Magnemite
Secret power @Pika / Signal beam @Psy / Chill *3

This won't end well.

Pika, start off the round by using Thunderbolt on Vulpix. After that, use Dig(down). Next action, use dig(up) on Magnemite, but wait for magnemite to move.

Psy, use Psychic to grab Magnemite and put him in the path of Vulpix's hex's. Next, use Fire Punch on Magnemite to pay him back for paralyzing you. Finally, end with Extrasensory on Vulpix. If you have to keep using Psychic to keep Magnemite in the path of Vulpix's hex's, then do so. If your body siezes up and you are unable to use your actions for whatever reason(although since you aren't moving for actions one and three, I don't see why that might be the case), then just Chill

Round 2 Start!!

The Vulpix, feeling safe behind her sizable substitute, mumbled some ancient curses. Her eyes glowed white as she concentrated on Psy, letting out a climactic howl. A cross-shaped gash suddenly appeared on the humanoid's arm, oozing with dark purple energy. Psy squealed in pain as the curse spread her body, amplifying the electric currents in her body, further frying her synapses.

Speaking of amplified electric blasts, Pika released one at the smirking fox. Vulpix exploded on contact with the thunderbolt, with the remaining chunks of her body reduced to smoking ash. Pika did a victory jig, pleased that he released the finishing blow.

Or he would have been, if Vulpix wasn't standing unscathed behind the remnants of a combustible doppelganger. Vulpix looked at the mouse with a look of confusion on her face, not sure why he was suddenly staring at her in disbelief.

Magnemite, seeing an opportunity to attack a foe while his guard was down, closed his eye and tapped into the power of the rocky terrain. He let his magnets lock onto the mouse and shot a powerful beam of black light at Pika. Pika let out a yelp of surprise, caught completely off-guard. Magnemite was just about to let out a metallic giggle when it suddenly found itself moving. He looked around and saw Psy, who despite obviously being in pain, was still managing to lift Magnemite up of the ground and closer to Vulpix.

Vulpix concentrated on the manipulator, trying once again to cut her with a ghostly spell. She closed her eyes and muttered the ancient hex. But instead of hearing a satisfying shriek of pain, all she heard was a tinny clink. She looked at Psy and saw her opponent unharmed, holding up a Magnemite with a rusty cross carved into its metallic body.

While everyone else was preoccupied with Vulpix's black magick, Pika jumped into a makeshift hole in the ground and dug his way downwards. Magnemite saw his target escaping and tried to follow him down the rabbit hole, but he was held back by Psy's telekinetic grip,

Vulpix tried again, attempting to zero in on Psy and attack. She uttered yet another curse, hoping it would hit its intended target, but yet again the blow was intercepted by the metallic orb. Magnemite stared at Vulpix with a look of discomfort. Could his day get any worse?

As Pika jumped out of the ground and struck it with an earthy headbutt, Magnemite decided the answer to his question was "yes, but no". Using the inertia from the blow, he spun around, caught Pika between his magnets, and tossed him up in the air. Pika could only stare in horror as the Magnemite shot yet another black beam of frightening energy at him.

Psy loosened her grip and sat down, feeling a bit better although slightly pooped. The referee waved his flag and ended the round.

Arena Notes: A small, Pichu-shaped tunnel can be found in a curve through the ground. There is fried Vulpix-sub everywhere.

Ref Notes:
In order to use Magnemite as a shield, Psy had to use a very energy-intensive Psychic all three actions. It did not block the first Hex because it moved last.
Neither Secret Power was a crit, but the second one was super badass.
I'm going to edit Magnemite's sprite to include those scars, brb Done.
Skyman commands first.

....I ordered Pika to wait until after Magnemite executed his commands before digging up.

How would he know that if he was underground?

In addition to that-- Magnemite wouldn't have done anything if Pika didn't surface; therefore, you would still be underground under those conditionals.

Bah, whatever.

Psy, Teleport to outside of the cave first. Then, Pull Magnemite to you using your magnet pull ability(Ralts weigh more than magnemites do) and combine that with a Fire Punch so that when it arrives you can hit it immediately. If that is not a possible combo, then just pull it on the second action and use fire punch on the third action. If it protects against the fire punch, then use Calm Mind. Should it try to use magnet rise then use Snatch, except for on the first action.

Pika, use Sweet Kiss on Vulpix. Then, use Charge. Finally, end with a Volt Tackle at Vulpix. If she protects on actions 1 or 3, then use Nasty Plot instead.

Psy: Teleport~Magnet Pull(magnemite)+Fire Punch/Magnet Pull(Magnemite)/Snatch~Fire Punch/Calm Mind/Snatch

Pika: Sweet Kiss/Nasty Plot~Charge~Volt Tackle/Nasty Plot

Vulpix use Protect first, then use Psych-up, finally use Inferno when Pika is near.

Magnemite use Reflect, then use two Signal-beams on Psy.

Vulpix: Protect ~ Psych-up @ Pika ~ Inferno @ Pika

Magnemite: Reflect ~ Signal-beam @ Psy ~ Signal-beam @ Psy
