Ah, Linoone, thanks a lot for taking that. As for your questions, I can't answer, sorry.

Also-AWESOME STRATEGY. Shake the goo off-you're a dog dammit, you do that all the time, except... SHAKE IT OFF ON KARKAT. Damn I'm awesome. After that, keep on Fire Fanging the Spider, you love it so much, except if she tries to Gastro Acid you again, in which case set-up a small substitute, unless you already have one, of course.

Use Roar of Time on Capone, unless she Protects/Detects, in which you should Chill. Then, with the remaining actions, use Acrobatics on Capone.

Alright, Roar of Time shoud drain a lot of energy so Ice Punch Karkat after he uses it. Then, follow up with a Drain Punch on Karkat, we don't want you to get too low on health. Finish with another Ice Punch, cause Super Effective stuff is awesome [/inwaytoooverhishead]

Well, exactly what it says on the tin. It's a strange gray-brick ruins on a hill that seems it could have been a temple long ago, with felled pillars and broken statues. Well, something seems to still be there, if not the legendaries themselves. Occasionally (i.e. 20% per round), a Psystrike, Aeroblast, Sacred Fire, Mist Ball, Luster Purge, Doom Desire, Psycho Boost, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Shadow Force, Dark Void, Seed Flare, Judgment (with STAB to the Pokémon's primary type), V-Create, Sacred Sword, Fusion Flare, Fusion Bolt, Glaciate, Relic Song, or Techno Blast (Normal-type), condensed into an orb that lasts a round, will appear somewhere in the ruins for a Pokémon to pick up (using an action) and use at any time, at the cost of 1.5 of the normal energy cost.

Round 3

Karkat really really really don't want to be here right now. Orders are orders, but since his trainer doesn't seem to be paying much attention, the archen decides to hold back. Using as little effort as possible, he pours his energy into the strange, time-warping orb in his beak. The orb seems to come alive and sucks in the energy greedily, its dark blue aura glowing brighter all the while.

The referee covers its ears.

The orb breaks open with a little pop, and the world turns straight into hell. A huge shock wave bursts out of the archen's beak, speeding across the ruins with an unearthly roar that seems to shake the foundation of time itself and leaving behind only a plume of what is only presumed to be microscopic pieces of pillars and statues. Capone is squinting against the dust when the shock wave strikes. Time seems to stop. Then reverse itself. The scraggy cries out in pain as time warps around her and scenes from the past, present, future flashes before her eyes. The deep, thunderous roaring buffets the lizard like a rag doll, and the draconic energy tears away at time itself. An eternity or a mere second later, the attack fades away, leaving Capone whimpering in a little ball on the ground.

Karkat, sitting on his butt from the backlash, watches the scene in awe. He probably should've put more energy in that attack. Ah well, too late now. Voltari, now that the distraction is over, struts over to where Karkat is sitting and starts attempting to shake the goo off his fur and onto the bird. It doesn't really work out well, as the Gastro Acid starts flying every which way, and a lot of the sticky mess stays stuck tight. Voltari decides to improvise a bit and starts rubbing his fur on an increasingly displeased and sticky Karkat. By the end of the ruffling around, Karkat is considerably more gooey (and annoyed) than before, while Voltari is actually mostly clean now. As if that isn't enough, Capone decides to use this time and rub it in. The Roar of Time only looks scary; it doesn't actually hurt that much. Fist glowing with a familiar icy energy, the lizard walks over to Karkat (who is now staring at his feather in disgust) and socks the bird in the face. Karkat squawked in surprise, which quickly turns to anger. The goo is making him want to kill something, and Karkat decides to put more heart into his next attack. Leaping up gracefully, the prehistoric bird dances around the lizard, jabbing and clawing every which way. Without the orb to weigh him down, the Acrobatics is much more devastating.

Meanwhile, now goo-less but still covered in spider thread, Voltari walks over to his own target, who has been spazzing uncontrollably on a rock since the round started. Flames covering his fangs, he bares his teeth at the defenseless Spidernet, only to bite down on air as a muscle spasm launches the tiny spider sideways and out of harm's way. The spider continues spazzing, however, still unable to do anything, much to her frustration.

Capone, on the other hand, finally strikes back. Fist glowing again, he lunges at Karkat, only for the bird to dance out of the way. His punch only hits the archen's tail, but the damage is done -- orbs of light floats out of the bruise and sinks into the scraggy's body, fading away some of the pain. This makes Karkat even more displeased, and he resumes his attack with a fury, jabbing and swiping every which way and leaving small wounds and bruises all over the scraggy's body. Capone retaliates with another Ice Punch, which actually lands on its target unlike the Drain Punch before.

While the lizard and the bird-dinosaur-thing are duking it out, Voltari's fangs has burst into flame again. This time, the electrike took care to aim this time, and poor Spidernet, who had been unable to do anything this round, found herself in a painful mixture of dog spit and fire. The only good thing that comes out of this is that she finds herself finally able to move again, and, through the fire and pain, manages to lock her mind on the dancing bird in front of her.

Karkat suddenly gets the feeling that he's forgetting something horribly important.

Notes:
- Since a lot of the Gastro Acid got splattered all over the place, Karkat didn't get smeared with enough goo to completely negate his ability. His attacks now have 3/4 base power instead of 1/2. Meanwhile, stat-reducing moves now have a 50% chance of working.
- ...Spidernet rolled a 4 for paralysis on the first action, then a 18 on the next. Yeah, somebody really needs to build RNGod shrines.
- The first Fire Fang missed.
- Drain Punch almost missed and thus dealt less damage than normal

Ah, Linoone, you are my hero. Just a lil' nitpick. No more like a lil' question.

Did you factor in the power boost on the fangs from Volty's sig attribute? Just to be sure.

Right then. Capone, let's end this. (Hopefully.)

Alright, We're going to go on an all out offensive. Ice Punch, Drain Punch, and then Ice Punch Karkat till he falls. When he does, Hi Jump Kick Voltari. If Karkat Protects at all, Hi Jump Kick Voltari. If Voltari Protects, attack Karkat with Ice Punch/Drain Punch. If you can't damage either for some reason, Dragon Dance.

Alright, it seems like the spider loves to abuse special attacks, so we'll try and Snarl at her (double the stats drop with the attribute), then punish her like a real boss with a double Fire Fang.

If by some miracle she is KOed, well go wild (hurr hurr) with Thunder Fang on Capone.

Round 4 Begins!

Karkat, actually pleased at his trainers orders to fly high up in the air to get away from his opponent, was only too eager to do it. Flapping his wings with some effort, first slowly, then faster and faster, he rose up high into the air, far above his opponents and definitely out of reach of Capone. Of course, this flying up was rather distracting, and thus he completely and utterly forgot to use ancient power. Way to go, Karkat. Voltari, shaking his head at his teammates forgetfulness, walked up to Spidernet before letting out a loud, deep growl at her. Spidernet, who hadn't been paying all that much attention, was not only startled by this, but downright disturbed-the growl was laced with something very dark, and very ancient. Capone, meanwhile, was looking up with an annoyed look on her face. How am I supposed to hit him from down here when he's all the way up there?, she thought, as she searched for Voltari. When she found him next to Spidernet, she began to sprint to him, before jumping high up in the air and divebombing Voltari, who didn't see it coming. His face getting smashed down into the ground, Voltari quickly retreated away from Capone, while growling in anger. Spidernet, grateful for the distraction, looked up at Karkat high in the sky. Charging up a ball of energy, she took aim at Karkat before firing. Of course, since he was flying so high up in the air, Karkat was able to easily spot and dodge the energy ball, much to Spidernet's dismay.

Now this got Karkat annoyed. After all, wouldn't you find somebody flinging balls of energy at you annoying? So as a result, he decided that a little payback was in order. Calling upon his ancestors, he commanded them to bombard Capone with the earth itself. However, his ancestors seemed to be ignoring him; he was so high up, his attempts were feeble at best. As a result, he had to call upon all of his willpower in order to finally make his ancestors respond, who began to throw all of the rocks near Capone right at her and scoring some hits before retreating back into the ground. Spidernet, who had been busy scurrying away as fast as her paralyzed body allowed, suddenly felt a jolt of pain, and smelled something burning. Turning her head as much as she could, she saw Voltari's huge fangs sunk into her, with flames licking his jaws. After a few seconds of digging his fangs deeper and deeper into her skin, Voltari finally let her go free, and was disappointed to not see any lasting burns on Spidernet. He did not have time to dwell on this, however, as he was once again blindsighted by Capone kicking his face in. Backtracking rapidly, Voltari could only gape at Capone's consistent power. Spidernet, meanwhile, was frozen in place-the paralysis so complete that she couldn't even control her throat muscles.

Karkat, who had been watching the whole situation unfold, decided that once again it was time for him-or rather, his ancestors-to get involved. This time, however, when he called upon them with all of his might, they only half-heartedly came out of the ground to throw rocks. Thus, Capone was easily able to dodge and and all rocks thrown at her, to Karkat's annoyance. Voltari, on the other hand, was much more successful in his attack: lunging at Spidernet one last time, his fangs aflame, he bit down hard on her neck. Spidernet, although she struggled to escape, just could not wiggle her way free, and eventually she passed out from her wounds, at which point Voltari released her. Feeling extremely smug and prideful, he didn't hear Capone's angry yell, and thus did not see Capone launch into the air once again to attack him. Fortunately for him, however, her aim was way off this time, and instead of hitting Voltari, she simply collided with the ground-painfully. Groaning as she slowly got up, Capone could only sit and glare at her opponent as the referre declared the round over.

Round 4 over!

I don't think Capone, should've used Hi Jump Kick on Voltari at all, since the only way to default it at Voltari was if Karkat Protected, which he didn't.

I interpret "protecting" as being completely and utterly unable to hit the target, such as actual protecting/detecting or, in this case, flying so damn high that there is no possible way for the target to be hit.

Spam Thunder Fang, unless he tries to Hi Jump Kick you, in which case use Protect. If he tries to counter, Protect or Detect use Howl, but switch to Thunder Fang if he tries it two or three times in a row (Except for counter, if he tries it multiple time in a row, just keep on Howling.
