1 vs 1
DQ: 5 Days
Damage Cap: 41.3%
Banned Moves: Everything that isn't called by Metronome, excluding Metronome itself, of course.
Area Discription: The Metronome Zone
The battle takes place in the well-hidden Metronome Zone.
The whole Zone seems to be endless, and everything is completely white, with light seeming to emanate from both the ground and sky, leaving no shadows but dim enough to be comfortable on the trainers' and battlers' eyes.
A strange pulse seems to echo through this zone, blocking out all moves of a Pokemon except for Metronome, although it does not bestow apon them Metronome if it doesn't know it already. It also negates all energy use for Metronome and the moves called by it.
If a move called by Metronome requires an object to be used (Surf, Rock Slide, Sand Tomb, ect.), the Zone will provide the object until it is no longer needed.
Additional Rules:
Σ Only un-evolved Pokemon can be used, including Pokemon with pre-evo Baby Pokemon in their family. (ex: Cleffa and Jigglypuff would be allowed, but Hariyama would not)
Σ Only Pokemon that know Metronome can be used, although Pokemon only learning it through TM in Gen I are banned
Σ If Metronome rolls Selfdestruct/ Explosion/ any other move that causes the user to instantly faint, reroll until you get an attack that isn't one of those.

Oh god, another plain white room. Ampharos was tired of the places, they creeped him out. And of course, he was with sreservoir again. These arenas seemed to have ties with res… The two Cleffas were completely matched in speed, so it was completely luck that Star got the jump on her opponent. She waggled her finger rather hastily through the air, and Eurastar backed off, realizing it wasn’t the smartest idea to be focused on her own move when she could be hit by literally anything. As soon as Star finished her Metronome summoning, she was instantly thrust into the psychic world, where she could see the true aura and the soul of her opponent. She focused on the mental manifestation, and began to try and remove any shrouds of darkness from the soul. But, there were none, so that tactic didn’t work all to well. As she backed away she realized that she could still feel the presence of her opponent’s soul, making her moves all the more easy to hit with. But, Eurastar hadn’t yet done anything to make it harder to hit her, so this was also an obsolete fact.
Eaurastar realized that she now had an opportunity to pull ahead of her opponent on the first action of the match. How wonderful it would be if she could pull out something like a Blast Burn or Megahorn on the first turn. With these happy thoughts in mind the Cleffa waggled her finger in a much more dignified fashion than Star. Sadly, this did nothing to make the chances of her getting a good move any better. Eurastar waited expectantly for something amazing to happen, but her pleas were not answered. With a few seconds gone nothing had happened, and she was beginning to feel that her attack had failed. However, just as she was about to try waggling her finger again, she felt herself start to glow with a pleasant blue radiance. She gasped, was this the opening act for a spectacular Aeroblast or something along those lines? As it turns out, it wasn’t, and afterwards the blue light faded away, Eurastar feeling exactly the same. She grumbled to herself then, realizing her attack had gone to waste.
Well, Eurastar was not going to be able to live if she gave up the opportunity to attack to her obviously much weaker opponent. She swooped in (figuratively) and did the finger gesture a millisecond before Star could prepare herself. Eurastar smirked; she was making her opponent angry already. Oddly however, as an attack was generated Eurastar found herself completely unable to attack, being held back by some supernatural force. Star stared back at her opponent for a while, wondering if she had somehow become paralyzed, when she decided that what better time for her to get her own attack in. She waggled her finger painfully slowly, aggravating Eurastar. Star liked the reaction, and returned the previous smirk. From the metronome she felt all of the power willing to come out from inside of her in one massive attack. She was nearly laughing with glee. What better time to use an insanely powerful attack than in the beginning of a match where her energy was instantly replenished. The frozen Eurastar could see how gleeful Star was getting, and couldn’t help shutting her eyes, preparing for the worst.
Star squeezed her eyes hut, knowing that she was going to be nearly exploding with the amount of energy inside of her. The power was trying with all of its might to get out of her. With a scream she let loose the gigantic blast… Which turned out to have the power of a Water Gun. Only a small pulse of energy was released from Star, which sailed over and hit Eurastar right in the forehead. Eurastar would have laughed at the complete failure of Star, had she not unfrozen at that exact moment. The attack she had just been hit by seemed to have given her new energy to attack with, and so she raced forward with a sort of maniacal lust. She lashed out quite aggressively at Star, hurting the physical part of her, and further damaging her mental state after her failure of the current action. Star dejectedly let the blows hit her, compacting the pain, trying not to feel it. Soon Eurastar felt that she had left her mark, so she backed off. She realized that she had attacked much longer than she normally would have, packing on even more damage it seemed. Star had not noticed, as she wasn’t trying to focus much on her opponent in her current state.
This left the door wide open for Eurastar, so she didn’t need to rush at all to beat Star to the punch, er, wag. As soon as her finger stopped moving she felt herself start to lighten, her outer fat layer melting away into nothingness it seemed. She looked at her opponent, and realized that this Cleffa was feeling the same effects, as they now both looked as though they had been deprived of nutrition. As soon as the Cleffas felt their skin start to retract to fit their new bodies they felt the cushioning return. The insulation seemed to surge back into their bodies in the same was as it had disappeared. In the thirty seconds this took, the two Cleffas went through what could have been life-changing transformations and then morphed back again. All in all it was an interesting experience, but Eurastar realized that this had done almost nothing for the battle, at least in her favour. Star would rejoice in the fact that her opponent had failed to do anything significant once more. But Eurastar was going to get her, and soon.
It was true; Star now felt quite happy that her opponent had failed once more. Maybe she would be able to make up for her weak move of the last action. It had been so weird filled with all of that energy, then releasing only about a fifth of its power, and letting the rest melt away. Well, it had not been the desired effect. Now as Star wiggled her finger she felt the air around her crackle with electricity. It looked like she was generating an electric attack, and from the size of the current she could feel, it was not really a significant one. But, at least there were no electric attacks she could think of that could fail to use up all of their destined power. From nowhere a gigantic yellow web appeared before Star She flinched slightly, but soon the arachnid’s home was sailing towards Eurastar, seemingly magically. The web hit the Cleffa like a net, tangling her up in the strands. She flinched much more than Star had as the electrical currents surged through her, causing a fair bit more pain than her opponent’s previous attack. Even as the electricity stopped coursing through her body she was still tangled in the webbed mess, making her feel considerably clumsier. Star rejoiced as she realized she now had the definitive speed advantage.

Arena Notes:
-Nothing to note
Ref’s Notes:
-If posting a DQ Warning is pointless, as you say, then why is there a DQ time?
-Eurastar used Refresh, Revenge, and Skill Swap
-Star used Miracle Eye, Trump Card, and Electroweb
-Miracle Eye didn’t fail, but it didn’t accomplish anything
-Refresh did fail however
-Eurastar was going to move first on the second action, but she generated Revenge, which forced her to wait
-I guess you could call Trump Card spectacular, but as Star had so much energy it did the same amount of damage as a Water Gun, as stated
-Revenge was a Critical Hit
-Skill Swap, like Miracle Eye, didn’t fail per say, it just didn’t accomplish anything
-sreservoir to order extremely complicated command stream next
