.: Full Metal Cookies vs Metallica Fanboy :: Round One :.
1v1 Single
DQ: 7 days
Banned Moves: OHKOs, Attract.
Damage Cap: 40%
Arena: Snowy Fields
The Snowy Fields, are, well...fields covered in snow. The rolling hills are a pristine white, glittering slightly in the morning sunlight, the snow a good inch deep. It's not too cold out, but just cold enough, and Ice-Type moves get a 1% boost to damage. If pushed aside, the snow will give way to short, soft, and rather wet green grass and soft soil. There isn't another creature to be seen, but the faint sound of winter birdsong in the distance can be heard. Far off a forest can be seen, covered in snow and full of evergreens, but it's too far off to get to for the battle.

Attack -1
Decked out in full winter gear, three humans trek through the snow-covered field to get to even more field. When their goal is not to cause mass destruction, it’s too their advantage to get far enough from the road that they can’t affect the cars and the cars can’t affect them. They can feel each cold breath being drawn into their lungs, and see the cloud-like puffs when they exhale. Their gloves protect their hands, but their faces are mostly exposed to the cold.
When they can clearly see the distant forest and hear faint singing of some insane birds, they decide they’ve come far enough. Two of the trainers separate from the third, moving as part of a wide circle so that there’s enough space between them. Wet green grass pokes through some of the footprints left behind, and in other places, a small patch of grass is revealed.
Metallica Fanboy throws the pokéball first, which bursts open and releases a brightly glowing blob of energy that fades to reveal something not too different from a human. The machop doesn’t even look around. He just stares at the pokéball in Full Metal Cookies’s hand with an intent expression, fists rising in preparation for a fight. His eyes follow the pokéball in its arc toward the ground, and he watches his opponent’s release. A blue cat with a large head and rounded ears materialises on the snow, star-tipped tail waving lazily. The shinx grins at the machop, eyes and fangs revealing sinister bloodlust that strikes fear into the machop’s heart. The machop swallows, but he won’t let it stop him from hurting the shinx no matter what. Even if it kills him, he’ll land every blow. The trainers’ orders are accompanied by white clouds coming from their mouths, as is the referee’s call for the battle to begin.
.: Actions :.
Rasputin grins. He loves the move he’s been ordered to use first, and he relishes the opportunity to use it. Electricity ripples through his fur as he reaches out and manipulates the almost-unnoticeable magnetic field around him. Slowly, he rises through the air, stopping a little above Super Macho Man’s head. Movement is slightly awkward, requiring a bit of manipulation with electricity rather than the normal walking around, but Rasputin is good enough that he can still manage. At least he’s not getting that uncomfortable snow all over his feet. Now his paws are wet, though, and he hopes the water doesn’t freeze.
Super Macho Man, in contrast, is slightly irritated at his first orders. Clones for the sake of evasion? What’s the point!? His preferred approach is a head-on attack all the way through, with his fists or feet or head or anything else he might need. Double team—pah! He wouldn’t let even a hundred clones stop him from hitting Rasputin, and he’s sure Rasputin wouldn’t let that happen, either! Still, he has orders, so he runs as fast as he can in a circle around and under Rasputin. His body blurs, and then one, two, three, four machop are running in a circle. The afterimages remain, and stop along various points in the circle, all facing Rasputin and clearly visible. Super Macho Man doesn’t even notice that there aren’t as many clones as he was asked for, nor does he care. That’s as many as he can make, and they’re not his priority in this battle.
Rasputin can’t really raise an eyebrow, but he gives an impressive display of cool disdain. It’s a little disconcerting to suddenly find yourself against four opponents when there was previously only one, but Super Macho Man is a special case. The real machop is incredibly obvious when he takes a closer look; the body language and expression set him apart from the clones, who look more like normal machop. He bares his teeth. Sparks fly from his fangs, followed by more until his entire mouth is crackling with electricity. With a thought, Rasputin finds himself literally flying toward Super Macho Man, and all he has to do is bite down on Super Macho Man’s shoulder; the clones vanish, but they weren’t important, anyway.
Surprisingly, the machop makes no move to dodge or block the attack. He twitches when a painful jolt runs through his body, but frost is already starting to form on both hands’ knuckles. He pulls back the non-injured arm, and as soon as Rasputin lets go, releases a punch that strikes Rasputin’s forehead. The punch is immediately followed by another that smashes into Rasputin’s nose. Rasputin grunts. Some blood trickles from his nose. Both injury sites are simultaneously burning from cold and sore, which sort of counter each other. He growls. Striking the face? That’s just rude.
Electricity crackles around his fangs again, and he sees how little Super Macho Man cares. In fact, Super Macho Man is already tilting his head toward Metallica Fanboy, waiting for orders while his eyes keep track of Rasputin. It’s like Super Macho Man just can’t wait to attack… well, neither can Rasputin. With another snarl, Rasputin bites down on Super Macho Man’s wrist. Another involuntary twitch, but this time the machop does give another response. His limbs freeze completely, and he becomes unnaturally still. Rasputin tilts his head, pulling back a little, then smirks when he realises what must be happening. Paralysis. Perfect. Less perfect is Super Macho Man’s expression, which show a complete disregard for his situation, but that was probably just frozen on his face when the paralysis hit.

Attack -1
Paralysed (severe)
Notes:
- Machop are fairly slow, so Super Macho Man was only capable of making three clones
- Due to no guard, double team didn’t help raise evasion
- Moves used in a combo are weaker than if they are used separately, but (wtf) both ice punches scored a critical hit
- The second thunder fang induced paralysis
