First ASB battle, I'm so nervous and excited!

Okay... Po, go exploit that type advantage!

Use Rock Slide twice, then Earthquake. If the Torchic uses Protect or Detect, makes clones or makes it otherwise impossible to hit, use Sandstorm, but if you already have, use Iron Defense. If it tries to Counter, use Water Pulse instead. If it uses any other non-damaging move, use Iron Defense.

Oh well, let's do the best we can, Fire Fist. I know you have a type disadvantage, but hang in there, okay? Start off with Will-o-Wisp, it'll lower Po's attack and just deduct HP slowly. Go with Sunny Day next, we want to boost power for your next action. If you can't use Sunny Day for whatever reason, use Focus Energy instead. It's not much of a substitute, but it'll have to do. Finish off with a Flamethrower, just to get in some neutral damage.

In a god forsaken Colloseum, where there were no signs of life, yet another ASB battle was about to begin. Two trainers and an Abra wearing a santa claus costume appeared. The trainers shook hands, and then positioned themselves, BlazieAura at the western corner and EonRider at the eastern corner. Both sent their pokemon- EonRider sant Fire Fist the Torchic, and BlazieAura sant Po the Aron. Both issued their commands. Thhe abra lifted a blue flag- the battle begins!

Round 1!​

Fire Fist charged at Po before either of them could even start thinking, and blue flames in the shape of circles floated inside his mouth, a blue glow covering his eyes. A dark blue, ghostly glow. Fire Fist stopped after running 20 feet, and released a barrage of blue fire balls, all of them zooming towards the Confused Po. The flames created a circle around Po, and started floating around him quickly, slamming themselves against Po, making him shout in pain. They hit him so presicely that, if it would have been a directly damaging attack, would have inflicted Po some serious pain, even worse than the one he was in right now.

Po roared in anger, and a blue glow covered his eyes too, only that it was much brighter. Five rocks ripped their way out of the ground, floating around Po for a few moments. Fire Fist realized what was gonig on, and was about to try and run away, but the rocks were catapulted towards him and hit him, throwing him a good few meters backwards. Fire Fist shook his head and started squeaking some serious swears, not that it really mattered.

Fire Fist didn't have time for swearing, though- he had to fight. He spat a ball of orange energy on the ground and released a small sphere of fire at it. After the ball started steaming, Fire Fist grabbed it with his left leg, not bothering about how hot it was, and threw it up to the sky. After a few moments, the sun started shining much stronger, warming up the area. Fire Fist almost started hoping he would have a chance to take a break for sunbath.

Po Stared at BlazieAura, not knowing what she wanted from him. After all, im not some super brain machine, he thought to himself angrily, and sat down on the ground, thinking about what he should do. After all, he didn't want to disappoint his trainer, but, on the other hand, he didn't have a clue what he should use.

Fire Fist looked at Po, deciding to use the oppurnity, and flames started gathering in his mouth, again. A small sphere slowly grew in his mouth, starting off white, slowly becoming light yellow, darker, orange, and finally red and much bigger, the power of fire being stored inside it. It was covered in red, yellow and orange flames, and was ready to be released. Then, a flurry of flames was released towards Po, scorching him and pushing him a few feet backwards. After the flames were gone, a thin layer of black ashes covered his body.

Po groaned and started jumping around a little, throwing the ashes off his body. Then, he let out what should have been a menacing roar. He stood up on his hind legs, and then slammed his forelegs against the ground, creating small holes in the ground where his feet landed. The ground started shaking, and a bunch of cracks in the ground made their way towards Fire Fist, along with some shockwaves that threw Fire Fist around. After the earthquakes were gone, Fire Fist was laying on the ground, battered and bruised all over his body.


Referee's Notes:
-Po was confused by BlazieAura's commands in the second Action.
-However, two lucky rolls allowed him to attack in the first and last action.
-Try to make your commands strings a little less complicated, please.
-Anyway, EonRider attacks first next round.
-If im not mistaken, Burn halves physical damage you do to the enemy fi you are burned. If I am mistaken, I'll recalculate.
-Sorry about late reffing, but, erm, my homework cornered me without mercy and and and.

Hang in there, Fire Fist!

Alright, I want you to use another Flamethrower, but if it uses Earthquake, jump and aim your Flamethrower down to propell yourself into the air. Then, try a Rock Smash, it's quadruple effective, and it may lower defence. Fient if it Protects/Detects, and if you can't hit it for any other reason, use Double Team. On the last action, use Counter if it Rock Slides, and Mirror Move if it Earthquakes. If it does neither, then Flamethrower

Okay, this should be a snap. Po, start off with a Protect. Then wait for Fire Fist to attack, then use Dig to attack and hopefully make him miss. Finish up with another Protect; don't wanna get too roughed up yet.

Po threw up a defensive barrier, creating a green buble around his body. He cracked a grin, knowing Fire Fist had no chance to hit him.

Fire Fist let out a stream of fire towards Po, and grinned when the flames covered him. However, the same grin disappeared when he found out that Po was hiding behind a protect buble, safe and sound, not scorched even a bit.

Po started scartching the ground, quickly finding a soft spot. Then, he started digging wildly, quickly disappearing under the ground, leaving nothing but a tunnel.

Fire Fist 'shrugged', and then started jumping from leg to leg, white energy covering him. Then, he started running in circles around the hole. Moments later, there were two more Fire Fists, each looking identical to the first one.

Po came out of his hole, a blue bubble covering him once again. He started moving around, but came to a halt when the burn kicked in, making him sit down, protect bubble still up.

Fire Fist started charging flames in his mouth, or rather, all three fire fists did so. Then, moments afterwards, three streams of fire went towards Po, two fake, one real. However, it didn't matter- all of them went around the protect bubble, leaving Po unharmed.

Okay, if Fire Fist uses a damaging attack, let him hit and use Metal Burst, but not twice in a row. When you're not using Metal Burst, use Facade. If he makes himself impossible to hit or uses Counter at any point, Chill.

Fire Fist and his clones opened the battle by jumping around like mad, making random backflips and slashing thin air with their little claws, releasing flames in the form of swords, and spinning around.
After doing this strange dance for a few minutes, Fire Fist and his clones stopped dancing, but the flames they spat out were still radiated from their eyes, and a violent look could be seen on Fire Fist's face.

Po chuckled, wondering why Fire Fist would waste his time with dancing instead of attacking him. However, he still had work to be done. His commands were clear- use Facade if the little birdy doesn't attack him.
Focusing a whole bunch of raw energy on his forehead, Po tried to fix his thought about how badly the burned part of his body ached. Letting out a little growl, his forehead glowing a brilliant yellow, Po charged towards Fire Fist and his clones, slamming into one of them while grinning....
....When he suddenly realized that what he slammed into was thin air. Letting out a surprised yowl, he fell forwards and clumsily rolled on the ground. Still, at least he got rid of one of the clones.

Fire Fist broke into a mad laughter, laughing for quite a while. Po looked at him angrily- he felt a great urge to smash both him and his clone.

Fire Fist stood up, his face covered in tears after laughing so hard. Both Fire Fists shook their heads and gulped down the rest of the laughter.
Both of them grabbed a few rock chunks from the ground with their tiny legs, combining them and each creating a small rock. Then, both threw their rocks towards Po, charged forwards, and smashed the rocks using their heads.
However, there was only one mistake they did- they threw the rock in a totally random angle, missing Po by far.

Po let out an angry growl. While Fire Fist was preparing his attack, Po charged up a counter, a Metal burst, when that stupid Chicken threw it the wrong direction. "Why can't anyone call KFC?" Po mummled angrily, the metallic glow around him disappearing.

Fire Fist shrugged. Sure, the battle was raging and the previous round was boring, but this one was even more wierd.
Shaking his head for the 1000'th time, he charged towards Po, a familiar sphere of fire charging inside his mouth.

Po, however, had other worries- he didn't know what he should do. He wasn't allowed to use metal burst, and his commands didn't give him any other options. Sighing, he sat down and went back to thinking.

Fire fist stopped charging when he was 1 meter away from Po, and then let out a stream of fire towards him, englufing him in flames like he did some times before.


The sun is shining and will do so for 4 more actions.

Referee's notes:

Yay, Lars is back! And I noticed you became an Advanced Ref, too! Congratulations!

Anyway, Fire Fist, don't you feel any sadness for your lost clone? How can Po just mercilessly destroy your faithful companion! Make three more! And learn to smash rocks better! Then, If Po attacks, use Protect, and if he doesn't, Focus Energy. Critical hits are good.

Hmm...well, we can't have more clones in the way, can we? When Fire Fist is done making his extra three clones, use Rain Dance. Death to the imposters! Then..well, by my calculations you should only receive about 4% damage from that Rock Smash, so go ahead and use Rock Slide. Sliding rocks are better than smashing ones~ xD Finally, let's use Focus Energy as well.

Fire Fist let out a delighted squeak- his trainers told him to make some more clones, what ho! This would confuse the stupid Aron at least for a while.
After scratching the ground a few times, and throwing up some dirt, the fire chick started to run around in circles with amazing speed, until he disappeared for a few seconds, reappearing where he started to run.

Much to Po's amazement, now there weren't just 2 fire chicks, now there were 5 of these diabolic beings! Po grunted, and then started to jump around like a lunatic, letting out wierd grunts in a set rythm. Slowly and steadily, a blue aura of arcane energy started to cover the Aron's body while shaking like water. Po let out a final grunt before landing on the ground. Po looked up to the sky, where the sun was shining- and he was determined to change that fact. Po let out a series of shrill screams, the arcane energy around him slowly turning into two different balls of energy, one yellow and one blue, and then zoomed up to the sky, flying around each other in circles. Once they reached quite a height, both exploded, filling the sky with black clouds. Only a few seconds passed before rain started to fall from the sky, making everything wet, the ground, the pokemon, and the trainer- and, most of all, making the illusion around Fire Fist to disappear.

Fire Fist let out a series of angry squeaks that should be swearing words- nothing seemed to work his way. He kept on swearing and swearing until he started to cough, at which point he shook his head and let out a sigh, trying to calm down. The next step would be to put his mind back on the battle. Yes. Well, he had to use...Rock Smash, right?
After hestitating a little, Fire Fist charged towards Po, and stopped 5 feet from him. Fire Fist struck the ground with his right leg, pulling out a rock seconds later, lifting it a little, and then threw it at Po, hitting him in the face. The stone hit a particulary soft spot on his head, and a small crack was created, big enough for the next attacks to hurt a little bit more.

Po let out a roar of pain the second the rock struck his face. Sure, it hurt, but it was even worse when it left his head vunerable. Shaking said organ wildly, Po slammed his head against the ground, creating some REAL cracks in it, and pulled several rocks out of it using some strange blue energy. Then, Po started moving his head from side to side in circles before charging towards Fire Fist, the rocks floating after him, and struck the ground before him with his forelegs, hurling the boulders towards Fire Fist. The boulders slammed into the little fire chick and sent him flying backwards before he crashed into the ground head on, bleeding all over his tiny body.

Fire Fist didn't move for quite a while- he was in too much pain to move. Once the pain become bearable, however, Fire Fist stood up, making his bleeding even worse, and started to charge up energy in his body. After a few moment of total silence, Fire Fist's body got covered in a yellow glow, which then exploded in a flash of light, although the majority of the energy stayed in Fire Fist's body.

Po, seeing that Fire Fist didn't move, decided that he would store some energy too. The same glow that covered Fire Fist now covered Po, much to the former's dismay, and exploded in the same flash of light like before. Fire Fist swore a little in his langauge, shouting "That's my technique!"

The referee's replacement came by, this time an aerodactyl, and announced "All right, people, next week, Santa's coming to town!round's over! Now mush before you'll regret you came here." before disappearing.


It is raining for 10 more actions.

Referee's notes:
-The rain cooled down Po's burn, and will delete it in 2 rounds if it won't stop.
-Rock Slide be Critical hit.
-Blazie attacks first next round.
