• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Okay, I will watch these Lynch films! As for Bergman, I have only seen The Seventh Seal and Wild Strawberries. I will have to watch Persona and Fanny and Alexander next.

I'm also going to watch Se7en with some friends later this week, because I heard it was good (and directed by the same guy who did Fight Club).
Blue Velvet was good! Dennis Hopper's character was terrifying. I need to get around to watching more David Lynch films. The Elephant Man, Eraserhead, and Mulholland Dr. are all on my watchlist now. Sometime I will start using RYM to rate movies though xD.
So, Dashie, how have you been? I haven't seen you on #tcod recently. I took up your recommendation and watched Blue Velvet. I've also become a big fan of Ingmar Bergman's films. RYM is a pretty nifty site for finding movie recommendations.
Hiya! I picked up Whipping Girl. I'm about 80 pages in and it is fantastic so far. I might finally have something to recommend for others to read.
Yeah, I echo the two most recent posts. I'm so sorry for everything that's been happening to you. I probably can't help you, but, like VM, you can talk to me any time if you need to. Here's hoping that things will change for the better for you.

    All the best. :)
Hey, I just wanted to say that I've read some of your posts, and feel very sorry for the crap you've had to put up with. I doubt there's much I can do to help, but if you need someone to talk to, I'd listen. I do honestly hope that your situation improves.
I just want to say that I am horribly sorry for what you're going through. If I could help in any way, I sure as hell would, but unfortunately I don't think there's any way to help. But I just want to say I'm really sorry that you are having so many problems with your life because of something beyond your control, and I really do hope things get better for you.
Hey... I just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain (though my situation is nothing compared to yours :\). And I also want to thank you for both your posts- though they left me with a heavy hollow feeling, they... inspired me. I'd elaborate but I don't want to sound self-centered.

    Thank you so much though.
