• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    Pointless Question

Ah, but on the other hand, having a coin from the last year or two is awesome. So you have to adopt a middle ground, I think.

    Happy birthday, Negrek and Butterfree!

You are 23 and 22! That is two and three years away from a quarter century, and that's terrible. Wouldn't it be wacky if I was born on 18th February, too? Oh, well.

    Course Planning Advice?

I suspect MIT will be more impressed by the fact that you not only know what algebraic topology is but have done a course in it rather than the fact you graduated a year early.

Villains who want to take over the world

You're right, and I think this is the most common motivation for villains of this type. Presumably it's easier to rule over life created in your image than it is to rule over life you've just mercilessly conquered.

In which time period would you live in?

The present. The past sucked and only seems pleasant because of the way we romanticise it. (Wouldn't mind the future, though.)

    University Applications

I don't live in the US. I did the SATs once, several years ago. I never applied to a single US university. I still get the occasional e-mail from US universities.
