Frederick is kind of boring, but kind of makes up for it by being a hilarious dork. I'm not sure how much to hand it to the localisation for that, but his japanese lines generally sound blandly formal rather than long-suffering snark. My favourite lines are "if I may?" and "allow me." maybe if...- Minish

It did reeeally backfire on me in my first play of awakening. I had no idea how the children system would work, so I missed out on five of the second generation because I let mothers die. :(- Minish

you're right, I remember early game being really difficult and I just restarted completely around chapter 7, but since then it was definitely manageable... and for some reason morgan was so powerful I just breezed through the last half completely.
