• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    Consensual Crimes

I've seen some signs around here that say "Buckle up; it's the law". Personally I think saying something to the effect of "not buckling up is dangerous" would be more compelling than "it's the law" and that's it.

    Ditto's Docks

You know I just opened the site again in Chrome and this time it looks fine. How strange. XD

Lines you won't find in the Bible.

God might be using the royal "we" in this passage. Since it's not too much of a stretch to think of God as royalty.

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

I have no idea what a tiger is doing on a desert island, I was just making up an example. XD Hypothetical and all that. I actually don't think it's relevant to the topic at all, my "without inventions we'd be in trouble" was admittedly a bit of an off-topic musing but Harlequin asked me to...

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

If an individual became stranded on a desert island and a tiger attacked the individual, the individual would probably die. Basically that the average human uses tools without really understanding how they work and would be unable to recreate most of our technology if left to only his own...

    Words you like to say.

Quamquam ("although") and terrerere (second person singular imperfect subjunctive conjugation of terreo, "fear") are my favorite Latin words.

    What's your real name?

    Thanks. :) I don't think it's that bad of a name myself.

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

Number 100, you have not lived until you have eaten a mushroom. They are so yummy. Also the best pizza topping ever.

    What's your real name?

Miranda. People think it's hilarious to start reciting the Miranda rights to me. -.-;; It's actually not funny at all.

Behind the Avatar [SELF PICTURES GO HERE]

Dunno if I've posted any pictures of myself in this topic yet but I can't be bothered to look through all the pages to find out, so. :P Older picture where I have long hair Newer picture with different hair. I'm wearing my work uniform minus an apron so it's not like I go around dressed like...

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

We don't need to eat cows or pigs either to survive. Yet we do it anyway.

    Ditto's Docks

The style sheets don't appear to be showing up in Google Chrome (the browser I'm using), thus the layout looks really bad, perhaps you can try to fix it? Though I'm not really sure how you'd go about doing that myself.

    Unintenional Innuendoes!

Today my boyfriend and I went into an Amish furniture shop and there was a sign on the door that said, "YOU DESERVE SOLID WOOD". We laughed.

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

Indeed; without our inventions we'd be screwed.

    Are you a virgin?

My boyfriend is 23 and I'm 17... I guess according to the formula he's slightly too old for me. Oh well. :P

    Is Cannibalism That Wrong?

Correct me if I'm wrong (or if it was already mentioned in the thread) but wasn't there some tribe that existed at some time where it was actually an honor to be eaten by your fellow tribe-members after your death? And who says we're at the top of the food chain? You don't think other animals...

Georgia public schools to offer Bible elective

That's true. You probably won't find many Muslims or Hindus in Georgia (or, rather, people who know much about such religions). :P
