TCoD Wi-Fi League Customs & Registration Office
This thread is where people who want to participate in official Wi-Fi League activities (tournaments, gym challenges, etc.) can sign up to do so; members who are already registered but need to make a change to their information can request those changes here as well.
To sign up, simply read the League Rules, fill out the provided form and post it here. If everything checks out, a moderator will add your information to the Records Office thread; after that, the mod will post here to let you know you've been accepted and you can now take part in official activites. You cannot challenge gym leaders, enter official tournaments or do anything else of the sort unless you have registered here first AND you have a post in the Records Office! Your post here is not considered a complete and accepted registration!
(Note that registration is no longer required to use the Battle Tower or the Dachét GTS; this used to be a requirement but the rule has since been changed.)
Please do not sign up if you do not have all of the required information, e.g. you don't know your friend code. There is no reason to "reserve a spot"; just sign up when you have everything you need. We won't notice if you make a post and then edit it later anyway, so it's not as though posting too early will do you any good.
And yes, if you were registered on the old forums you must re-register here if you want to continue to participate. It's not just proof of the registration we need; we still need an up-to-date working copy of your ID and information. As long as you continue to follow the rules there is no reason for us not to accept you again. If you have changed your username, it would be helpful if you posted that as well.
If you need to request a change then just post here with a link to your ID in the Records Office (a link to the single post, NOT a link to the entire page it's on; a link to your post in this thread is also unacceptable) and the change you need made, such as a new friend code. Your ID will be updated as soon as possible. Note that badges you earn are typically added as soon as the Gym Leader you defeated posts in the corresponding records thread, so there isn't a reason to request that change unless it's been a few days and you've noticed we haven't gotten to it yet.
Form for Registration
For those of you that were registered with the league before the crash, I'd like to point out that the registration form has changed (drastically simplified, really). Just a heads up.
Form:
Name: (Your forum username, NOT your in-game name. The in-game name is irrelevant and not needed for registering friend codes, as you may enter whatever name you like into your Pal Pad.)
Friend Code(s): (The friend code or codes you will be using. If you are registering more than one game--both your Diamond and your PBR, for example--be sure to make a note of which one is which. Something like "1111-2222-3333 Diamond; 4444-5555-6666 PBR".)
Role: (Leave this blank for now.)
So a sample registration would look like this:
Name: Kratos Aurion
Friend Code(s): 0344-5812-0423 (Diamond); 2878-6745-8702 (PBR)
Role: N/A
