So, for the past few years (since I was like 7 or something) I've been developing a bunion, which is apparently unusually large for someone my age.
My family and I had been planning surgery on it for a while, and we did have it scheduled for earlier, but that was during the middle of the school year and that would have been really annoying. So, instead, I got it today.
The numbing shot was terrible and they had to do it twice, but after that everything went great. I haven't seen my foot yet, but I'm not in pain and I managed to get home about an hour after my surgery. I've been able to function properly, even though I do need some help because I can't put any weight on my foot at all. I'm terrible with crutches, and I almost fell down into the snow and rocks twice while trying to get into the house, but we also rented a knee scoother and a wheelchair, which is much easier. I'm not very dizzy when I sit up or stand (well, sort of stand with my mom and a knee scoother for help), I've moved around a bit, and I've finished two cans of soda since I got home.
So, hopefully, the surgery will stick, and I'll have a normal foot for the rest of my life. I had to miss a long marathon of D&D at school, though, but hopefully I'll see them again next year and get them to buy me soda and candy and stuff.
Also, they did a pregnancy test because they have to, and the virgin me isn't pregnant :3
