• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Don't you worry about that, you're on the right track for your very own endgame mistake.
What? That's not how you do it. When a trainer orders four conditionals, you're supposed to make the Pokémon so confused, it just starts walking the plank for no reason and falls overboard. I don't make the rules, that's just the way it is, all I do is point out the right way because I'm such a moral person.
It does seem that the rabbit regime is under cattack, yes. (My favorite of the blogs tumblr's putting on my front page is we-lovecats because its title is, verbatim, " 'cause.... We Love Cats")
I don't really have a witty response to that, so here is a cat making the :-P face!
Is this, like, a localized reference to some mistake you made in a recent reffing that I didn't catch, or are you meditating on your general decision to spend time on a Pokemon forum (as I am right now) rather than doing productive things (edit: or are you somehow managing to do both at the same time)
Well, in the given case I'm not putting as much distance between myself and the opponent as you'd usually get out of Digging down (hell, I wasn't even 100% sure of whether I should be parsing that as "Dig (down)" or "Dig (to get through the deck)", basically), so that should probably be a factor. Nonetheless, you'd definitely not be out of line if you gave me some penalties, such as drastically lowered accuracy.

In any case, semi-invulnerability in ASB tends to be less absolute than semi-invulnerability in the games; sure working around shouldn't be as simple as "aim the Flamethrower into the hole, which isn't something you need me to tell you to think of!", but, in general, if you can make it work, it works. (This is also why Phantom/Shadow Force are a jot more powerful than other semi-invulnerability moves in ASB -- "I hide in a different dimension so you can't hit me" is basically an "it's a hologram" grade weapon.)
oh yeah, I forgot about that achievement. fun fact: that achievement (and slowpoketails) existed literally years before the shellder novelty was added. so slowpoketails were literally useless once you'd gotten the achievement.
meh, Slowpoketails aren't super great anyway, all they do is let you evolve Shellder into a novelty and they're mucho expensive, so until you're getting close to your final push toward 100% pokedex completion, I wouldn't bother (unless you have heaps of points you're not spending on anything else)
Then, unless I can get myself some decently sized deck destruction, the plan doesn't work as expected, even if I still get some sweet SE damage. Such is the game.
Not necessarily. We got rid of phasing as a specific mechanic that allows you to avoid a number of attacks and etc. For some Ghost-types, passing through walls (or, as it were, floors) is no less reasonable than a Charmander being able to set fire to them with a smack of the tail -- this kind of thing is why we still have a specific list of Pokémon who can fly/hover, despite that being on that list no longer gives Pokémon direct mechanical benefits. So, a Haunter, for example, should definitely be able to pull it off, since canon frequently states and shows that it can slip through solid obstacles. (although, of course, this principle also has to be kept within reason, since nobody's interested in applying the full consequences of Magcargo supposedly having a body temperature almost twice as high as the temperature of the sun)

As for whether a Phantump could get away with doing this, though... Well, you're the referee.
cool, an event based around hatching lots of Fire-types... when I already have all the shiny non-legendary Fire-types except Tepig and Torkoal, ugh

(Sigma Klim would love this blog)
I liked a bunch of posts on that blog and now all of my recommended blogs on the homepage are, like, cute cat blogs...
Only by a little, though. I guess we'll just see how the next few rounds go!

edit: Unrelatedly, I think this blog may be relevant to your interests.
