• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • yoo, I totally keep forgetting to say this with my commands and I'm totally going to forget when I command this round too and then the battle will be over, so. wow, these last couple of reffings have been so fast! thanks, man! :D
Well, good job. There wasn't any good way to neutralize those commands, and more impressively, you did it with a bunch of status moves, when it's really easiest to go all-out offensive. At least, there wasn't any way I was getting through that turn without taking any damage.
If it's the same one you tried to have a battle on before, don't worry, I think I get it. And if not, well, I can adjust.
I suppose so. I'm not sure about species with appendages, but Berlin should certainly be able to, since there should be enough room in the tunnel for him to spin if he's been able to dig his way there in the first place. Either while digging or using Sandstorm, he'll expend a bit of extra energy (1%) to widen the tunnel enough for him to spin smoothly. Then the Sandstorm (assuming you want the weather condition) would just kind of fly out of the holes, I guess.
perhaps the random number gods will have pity upon their representative to the humble people of asber
I'd like to offer a formal apology for the horrible amount of hax on my part in both our battles...
sorry man :C both times if the crit and flinch rolls had been switched, the flinch would have gone through...
there is so much hax in this round but it doesn't even matter since the two of you are routinely hitting the damage cap anyway...
I didn't want to clog up the Question Box with this since I am by no means an authority, but this is what I wanted to say in response to your question about speed and Unburden:

The 10-point-per-speed-stage is just a common ref decision, not a requirement for TCoD ASB, so I doubt there's a canonical answer to that question. Personally, I don't think it makes sense to change the way speed stages work since the Speed stat itself doesn't work differently in ASB the way that, say, Attack does when put into the damage formula, so I just ref speed changes as following the games' modifiers.
