The referee had made a little campfire with its burning SAT preparation books and was now roasting marshmallows -- or pretending to, anyway, for, on a closer inspection, one can see that the referee was just a pyromaniac and was burning little pieces of grass and paper on a stick. Or perhaps the referee was truly insane, because it had made a little relic headband out of scrap paper and, setting several burning sticks into the ground next to the fire, started dancing, muttering some mystical words under its breath. What the referee was saying was an enigma that nobody really cared about. It was probably just gibberish.
One of the trainers, RandomTyphoon, decided that she better order attacks before the referee completely loses its mind, on the assumption that the referee hadn't completely lost its mind already. However, the moment her commands left her mouth, a large cod leapt out of the referee's fire, gulped the air, and plopped back into the flames with a splash. A faint aroma of tea wafted through the fields as the referee crackled evilly. It would all have been very scary if not for the fact that the sun was shining nicely overhead and making a nice, pretty rainbow in the little fountain of water a few meters away from the referee.
As the result of the sudden appearance of the tea-cod, Blazhy never heard RandomTyphoon's commands and continued to sit on the ground idly. It was only after a flying referee flag hit her head did the mechanical dragon realize what was going on and made her orders.
A wave (since there was only one flag left) of the referee flag later, the round began.

Round 5
Zenigata flapped his wings once, twice, feeling the nice, warm air through his feathers. The sky was a beautiful blue, and he really wanted to enjoy soaring a little longer... The skarmory looked at the hulking bulk of an onix on the ground. The rock snake was pathetic, grounded, never knowing the beauty of the sky. Zenigata almost felt sorry for the snake. Thus, it was best to put an end to the onix's misery early. Taking careful aim at the rock snake, the skarmory drew up ice cold energy stored within and coughed it out (it was hard using attacks that was not his element), freezing the air in front of him. With a flap of his wings, Zenigata sent the slurry of ice and wind towards the onix. However, the distance had been too great; with the sun beaming overhead, by the time the Icy Wind reached Kohryuu, it could probably be counted as a Chill instead. An ASBgodlightening shot out of the clear blue skies and struck the referee on the head.
Kohryuu shuddered a bit in the cold breeze, but was otherwise fine. Grinding his body with his head spike, the onix soon became a lot smoother than before, gaining an almost mirror-like quality. Kohryuu had to be very careful though; the sharp Spikes around him were basically waiting for him to impale himself. After he was done, the onix looked expectantly at the skarmory.
Zenigata sighed. The Icy Wind didn't seem like it did much, and he had to land now. Slowly spiraling downwards, the skarmory tried very hard to not crash into those annoying floating rocks. However, despite his careful maneuvers, quite a few ninja rocks still nicked him, and by the time Zenigata landed on the ground lightly, a few feet away from the fountain, he was missing not just a few feathers. Zenigata looked at his opponent. The rock snake had a creepy grin on its mouth, and it's shiny now, to boot. Something was definitely off... Before Zenigata could figure out what was wrong though, Kohryuu roared, lifted up his tail, and smashed it into the ground. The ground trembled, and huge pillars of rock and dirt shot out of the ground around the skarmory, then collapsed, burying Zenigata under a pile of rubble. Instead of celebrating, however, Kohryuu was busy nursing his tail -- a Spike had conveniently placed itself right under his tail when he used Rock Tomb, and now the sharp feather had wedged itself into his rocky skin.
Newly polished rocks sliding smoothly, Kohryuu gingerly lifted his tail and peered closely at the ground, trying to make sure that he wasn't about to slam into any spikes. The grass field was turning into a muddy pond from the water fountain, and that made the Spikes hard to make out. Deciding that the ground was safe, Kohryuu slammed his tail into the ground again, sending a huge tremor through the battlefield. The ground heaved as the seismic wave passed through, and Zenigata, trapped under a tomb of rocks, felt the worst of the Earthquake as the shaking ground underneath tossed him around like an expert juggler throwing chainsaws. When the tremor finally stopped, Zenigata was sore and beaten, injured not only by the Earthquake but also by the jumping pile of rocks. However, the Earthquake did create one advantage for the skarmory: the Rock Tomb had been jiggled loose, and, with a bit more struggling, Zenigata managed to pull himself out of the suffocating pile of dirt and pebble.
Bah, dammit, he knew landing was not a good idea! Spitting out some dirt, Zenigata focused his energy into his wings, hardening his muscles. As the skarmory charged forward, his wings gaining a strange metallic sheen, he crashed straight into a conveniently placed floating rock. Squawking indigently, Zenigata batted the Stealth Rock away and tried again, running at the rock snake (who was nursing his tail again -- another Spike had decided that rock is a better place than dirt and embedded itself into his skin) with his metallic wings outstretched. The skarmory crashed through the fountain (it was too much effort to run around it) and, using his hardened wings like a blade, sliced at onix. Sparks flied as metal scraped against rock, and Kohryuu screeched in pain as Zenigata backed off, flicking water off his wings and creating another pretty rainbow. Zenigata looked condescendingly at the onix, before cringing in pain -- seemed like he had stepped on one of his own Spikes.

Terrain Notes
There is a pile of rocks next to Kohryuu, and the small patch of grass underneath the pile of rocks are long dead from the Toxic. There is a small, barboach-sized tunnel; one of its openings is at the bottom of the pond, and the other is on muddy ground a few feet away from the pond. A thin jet of water about three feet tall is spraying out like a fountain from the hole, making pretty sparkles and rainbows while slowly draining the pond. Most of the grass had been overturned, exposing the dirt and rocks underneath. There is a very large pile of rocks next to Zenigata.
Some pointy and sharp Spikes have been scattered on the onix's side; anyone stepping on those will receive 2% damage.
Notes:
- Icy Wind only dealt 2% damage and no speed loss because the sun was shining and the day was nice and Zenigata was all the way up high in the sky.
- Fly (down) didn't use much energy because it wasn't used as an attack.
- But Steel Wing used more energy because Zenigata had to struggle out of the rock pile before he could attack
- Zenigata lost his +1 speed boost due to (injuries caused by) the Rock Tomb
- Earthquakes are scary. Especially with STAB.
- Bad puns ahoy!
- Blazhy be attacking first next
