Having the destruction sown for you? By a hand that did not waggle fingers, to boot? That's terrible. Rolling Milk Drink has earned us some leeway, even if it makes you comparable to Chris-Chan; now, don't blow this new opportunity, I urge that of you.

Round 13

A white glow fades behind Codegrah as she waddles to her position. As Kong steps away from the wall that he was blasted into, Codegrah turns to watch her opponent and notices he appears to be… crying? At first, Codegrah is suspicious. A Mankey, crying? But on the other hand, she doesn’t know her own strength. Perhaps she was just a tad too harsh on the poor creature. After all, why did she need to hit him so hard, when she knows he can’t win anyway? She sighs guiltily, but continues another Metronome anyway. Hers also glows white, and out of the light shoots a white beam that strikes Kong harshly. His tears quickly dry up as he’s thrown to the ground once again. As he stands up, the tunnel groans, its foundation weakened.

Kong spares the tunnel no attention, however, abandoning his fake crying and determined to damage Codegrah painfully. He triggers another Metronome to do so. The glow turns an eerie purple as a strange wind blows through the tunnel. Strange shapes seem to fly through the air with the wind, encircling Codegrah. The odd masses lunge at the Happiny, floating right through her. She winces at first in anticipation of the pain, but none comes. Still, he hesitates to open her eyes until the odd wind stops blowing. Kong jumps up and down furiously, noticing that his attack didn’t so much as scratch his opponent. Codegrah, meanwhile, giggles and sets off her own Metronome in response. A loud rumbling can be heard above, followed by an earsplitting CRACK. Shouts of people on the surface can be heard, and the ceiling begins to tremble as what seems to be a herd of people attempting to flee a building. There is another loud rumble that echoes on for several minutes; said building being identified by the owner’s shouts as the game corner.

Kong shrugs again as the tunnel trembles once again, wagging his fingers once more. Out of the greenish glow drifts a huge cloud of insanely tiny spores, which slowly make their way to Codegrah. Being as tiny as they are, Codegrah doesn’t even see the particles until she breathes some of them in and realizes how tired she suddenly feels. The Happiny curls up into a ball on the ground, fast asleep, dreaming of the destruction she hopes to bring about.

Round 14

Pleased with his dominance, Kong wastes no time triggering yet another Metronome. This time, the aura glows pink, and envelops both Kong and Codegrah. Psychic energy flows from Kong’s aura to Codegrah’s, though no change appears to occur in either Pokémon. Kong slaps his forehead as the pink glow fades, growing extremely irritated that he can’t just seem to finish off the Happiny, while Codegrah remains sound asleep, completely unaware of the transfer (or lack thereof) that just took place.

The Mankey sighs as he wags his fingers again, rather half-heartedly this time. That doesn’t stop it from working, however, activating with a flash of pale green light. A loud, screeching hum can be heard, emanating from Kong’s glowing hand. The sound waves disturb the sleeping Happiny, amplified by the walls of the tunnel causing attack to echo back. Codegrah wails loudly as she is forced awake by the sound and holds her head as if trying to cover some invisible ears. The sound begins to fade, and Codegrah, really angry now, triggers her own Metronome. It activates with a dark brown glow, not skipping a beat as mud erupts from the light in a fairly straight line, soaking Kong with the disgusting goo. The mud settles into his fur the more he tries to scrape it out, already feeling slowed down.

Giving up on the thick mud, Kong uses Metronome again. Out of his sky blue aura shoots a visible blade of wind energy. The blade slices through the air and right through Codegrah, actually leaving a cut across most of her tiny boy. The little Happiny is bounced backwards from the force, but recovers quickly. She begins to wag her own fingers, aching slightly as the muscles underneath the cut move. The aura on her hands takes on an unusual, very bright reddish-pink glow. Codegrah instinctively slashes the air with this red aura, creating what appears to be a tear in reality. The tear bursts open and a huge surge of similarly colored energy barrels down the tunnel. The trainers dive out of the way, taking refuge behind the desks along the walls, finding the earlier haircut brother still cowering down there. Kong isn’t as fortunate and is caught up in the swirling energy mass, his screams of pain easily lost among the rumbles of energy.

The tunnel quickly gives way to the sheer power, caving in fast. The ref decides this would be a good time to escape, lest subject everyone in the area to their end. The battlers, trainers, and even the haircut brother are teleported out of the tunnel even before the tear in reality seals. The small party is blinded by sunlight as they reappear on the open roof of the Goldenrod Department Store. Abandoning the battle briefly, everyone wanders to join the spectators at the edge of the roof of the trembling building, peering down to see the pavement below sinking violently into the earth. The crowd around the still smoking remains of the game corner quickly disbands as the main road of the city crumbles beneath the feet of the fleeing citizens, and they run wildly for the city’s limits, arms flailing about in the air. Off in the distance, the remains of the radio tower can also be seen, more easily identifiable than the game corner, though in no better shape. The people watching from the department store’s roof scream and stumble to the elevator as the battlers resume their positions, correctly assuming these sudden new arrivals are the causes for the bizarre disasters plaguing their city and not wanting to stick around for the next catastrophe.

Round 15

The few foolish spectators who stood back even amidst the town’s utter destruction to watch the battle turn and run to the elevator after seeing Kong wag his fingers, now understanding just what is happening. Kong’s paw glows with a faint dark glow as he lunges towards Codegrah, slashing her with the dark power. Codegrah barely flinches as the scratch irritates her body and starts wagging her own fingers causing Kong to jump back. Her Metronome activates with a dark blue aura. Behind Kong, the vending machines explode as every single can of fresh water bursts open. The free water flies through the air as if controlled by some unseen force, encircling the Mankey. Soon enough, there is enough water to lift Kong and spin him around dizzily. The water vortex begins to collapse shortly after, leaving a ring of water around Kong.

Coughing and gasping for breath, Kong triggers a Metronome again. Both of his paws glow a bright purple color, and as he charges towards his opponent, he crosses his arms, slashing an X-mark across the Happiny. She staggers back in pain, the cuts on her body reopened. Slowly weakening, she wiggles her tiny hands again. As they glow, she gets an idea in her mind. She closes her eyes and silently makes a wish for assistance, deciding on a whim to ask for healing rather than for the town to be swallowed by a sinkhole. Her whole body flashes once, and she reopens her eyes to watch Kong, who had been simply staring curiously between hasty breaths of air.

With a shrug and a thought that weirder things have happened, Kong weakly waves his paws again. They take on a pale green glow, and from the aura fires a barrage of tiny seeds, causing Codegrah to shield her eyes. Just when she thinks the bombardment of weak seeds has ended, Kong launches another volley at her, and she shields her eyes again. She hesitates a moment before putting her hands down, this time, but through her squinting eyes, she realizes that the glow of Kong’s attack has faded. Angrily, she wags her own hands again. They glow a light brown color as more pieces of boulders erupt from down below. Kong, being so worn out, merely covers his head as preparation for the assault. The rocks, however, simply float around him once they approach, their sharp edges glinting in the sunlight. Kong, almost wishing it would just end already, resumes his eager stance as the last of the water vortex dribbles into a puddle at his feet.

Round 16

Once again, Kong desperately wags his fingers. They glow a dark, ugly purple color as it activates. In his hands forms an orb from the purple aura, with a similar disgusting color and smelling horribly. Kong throws this gross orb at Codegrah, and it just barely manages to land. The ball explodes with poisonous goo upon contact, and Codegrah is flung into a nearby table from the force. Really unhappy now, she wags her fingers. They take on a similar purple glow to Kong’s, though this time, a thin toxic cloud seeps from the aura. Kong chokes and gasps for air as the poisonous cloud engulfs him, waving his arms in an effort to clear enough of the smoke away to breathe. Meanwhile, unknown to Kong, Codegrah’s sudden plea for help is answered. A sudden image of Jirachi forms in the Happiny’s mind, a signal that her wish was heard, and many of her cuts and bruises begin to seal up and heal. By the end of the process, Codegrah is feeling, and looking, much better off.

This doesn’t go unnoticed by Kong for long, though. As the smog begins to clear, he can easily see that Codegrah looks restored. Angrily, he activates another Metronome. The idea that forms in his head seems to agree with his emotions, and he leaps towards the Happiny. Having to mouth of note, he instead jabs Codegrah with his dark-glowing fist, ramming her again into the table. Codegrah doesn’t take that sitting down, though, and triggers her own Metronome. Her own new idea doesn’t seem any more appealing to her than having it used against her, but she offers no resistance anyway, having no choice as she projectile-vomits a large glob of stinging stomach acid all over Kong. The acid burns as it seeps into his tired body.

Ignoring the horrible burning sensation, Kong wags his fingers once more. This time, his whole body is surrounded by an eerie purple aura. The aura doesn’t seem to have any other effect besides lingering, and after a few minutes Codegrah gives up waiting and uses Metronome again. This time, she decides it’s about time that Mankey went down, so she waddles up to him and gives him a good slap in the face. Being as tired as he is, Kong just stands there and takes it, falling to the ground afterwards and making to move to stand.

-Codegrah’s moves: Smog, Gastro Acid, Pound.

-Grudge failed on action 3 since the attacks Codegrah used were all triggered by Metronome. Unless, of course, it had affected Metronome itself in which case would be boring as hell.
-Kong fainted on action 3.
-Sorry for the delay, I wasn't in my right state of mind these past few days.
-So, MF now sends out his replacement and you might as well attack first again since the order doesn’t matter, unless you’d like to wait for Blastoise in case he has some super attack (Metronome) up his sleeve.

Kong would so take down all of Blastoise's Pokémon if it wasn't for your lucky Wish.

And so, after an extremely long and brutal fight, Kong is finally returned to the comfort of his pokéball where he’ll probably sleep for a month to recover. In the meantime, Metallica Fanboy tosses a new pokéball out, which opens to reveal Daremyth, an Igglybuff. The tiny, pink ball of fluff lands on one of the poisonous purple spikes that had been spread out around her and yelps in momentary surprise. However, she easily ignores the quick, stabbing pain of one of the floating rock shards that she emerged near; she has just caught sight of her opponent and seems to be too amused to care about flying rocks. The Igglybuff glances over the side of the building at the chaos that is unfolding and smiles as if nothing is more natural, and then returns her attention to Codegrah.

Round 17

Codegrah decides to show the newcomer how things are done by means of example: wagging her tiny hands for a Metronome. Her hands take on a pink glow, almost indistinguishable due to the Happiny’s natural body coloring. Codegrah is suddenly struck with an urge to show off to her new opponent. But instead of a violent assault, the Happiny begins quite a disgusting display; her eyes grow wide and she bats her eyes at Daremyth, half turning away from her in the process. If anything, this only confuses the Igglybuff, however. Daremyth is not at all impressed with the attempt at romance. Instead, she decides that two can play the game, and activates a Metronome of her own. The Igglybuff’s tiny hands glow a mystifying blue-green color, and out of the aura bursts a mass of draconic energy. The wave soars through the air and collides with Codegrah, and she is thrown back into another table from the force.

Codegrah waddles back to her spot, tired of being rammed into tables, and begins Metronome again. This time, her hands glow a red-orange, and with a wave, she fires a barrage of tiny fireballs at her opponent. A few of them are caught by the wind and blown into the remains of the vending machines, which quickly ignite. Daremyth takes the brunt of the attack, however, and she covers her face in a futile attempt to protect herself. When the embers fade, the Igglybuff no longer seems happy with her opponent, and begins another counter attack. The Metronome glows white, filling Daremyth’s mind with the idea to simply ram her target, an idea she is only too happy to agree with. She runs towards Codegrah on her stubby little legs and makes a leap for her as she approaches. Her leap is just a tad too high though, and she sails right over Codegrah’s head. She manages to right herself before she falls off the building, and turns to face her opponent again.

Codegrah smirks at her luck while wagging her fingers again. Instead of pain, the move causes the Happiny to unleash a loud, high-pitched yawn. At first the Happiny is irritated, but then she notices Daremyth yawning also while she starts to respond, and realizes that yawning is in fact contagious. In an ironic twist of fate, the Igglybuff’s Metronome causes her hands to glow with fighting energy, which she uses to slap Codegrah across the face a few times. The Happiny staggers back, and though she is again looking rather worn out, she isn’t ready to give in just yet. For the moment, Daremyth doesn’t look much better, but she regains her composure once the reminder of the poison in her body subsides.

The fire from the vending machines begins to spread, but for the moment, the battlers are in no danger and the battle resumes. Codegrah’s hands take on a woody green aura and from it bursts a flurry of sharp, spinning green leaves. The leaves rake across Daremyth’s body, cutting her in various places. She doesn’t take much notice however, as the exhaustion that has suddenly overcome her dulls the pain. She resists her urge to sleep as best she can as she triggers her Metronome. This time, it’s her feet that take on the brownish glow. Daremyth hops up onto a table and then leaps into the air, aiming her kick at Codegrah. The attack hits, throwing Codegrah into another table, this time breaking one of its legs. Daremyth lands unharmed, but she can no longer resist the urge to sleep and curls up into a literal ball.

Codegrah pulls herself from the wreckage of the table to see Daremyth napping, and smiles. Now thinking she has her chance to make a comeback, she wags her fingers. Much to her disappointment, all that occurs to her is to waddle up to her target and scratch her face a few times. Daremyth doesn’t even feel it though, much too content to be sleeping.

Codegrah doesn’t even step away as she begins another Metronome. Her hands glow a dark blue, and the aura takes the shape of a crab’s claw. Codegrah swings this aura-claw, ramming it into the sleeping Daremyth with a splash of water and throwing her bouncing across the roof. The force of the attack wakes up the Igglybuff, who struggles to stop her body from rolling into the fire, which seems to have managed to ring the roof and is slowly beginning to jump across to the center of the floor. She quickly scrambles forward a bit so she doesn’t get burned, and then triggers her own Metronome. She charges the pink aura into a ball, drawing energy from her body as well, and hurls it across the roof where it explodes on contact with Codegrah, throwing her back as well. Daremyth grins, though her smugness is dampened by the painful urge to vomit deep in her gut as the poison once again makes itself known.

Arena Notes
-Current Location: Roof of the Department Store
-Summary of the damage: The entrance to the city as well as most of the main street have caved in, the gym is flooded, the Radio Tower is just a pile of metal after collapsing under its own weight, the Game Corner has been struck by lightning and is now just a fiery pile of burning ashes, and the current location is quickly becoming unbearably hot due to the fire.
-Remaining ideas: the GTS, the magnet train station, the national park or the bike shop

Round 18 Notes
-Codegrah’s moves: Razor Leaf, Scratch, Crabhammer.
-Daremyth’s moves: Hi Jump Kick, Shock Wave (Asleep), Mist Ball.
-Codegrah’s Crabhammer woke up Daremyth. Yay for all damaging moves.
-Mist Ball lowered Codegrah’s Special Attack slightly.
-Metallica Fanboy attacks next.

Hi Jump Kick? And legendary signature moves? That's the way it's done, Daremyth.

Now the only item we're short of is satisfactory levels of arena destruction. So, do just that.
