RP Thread​

By popular request, I'm starting this up from the beginning.

'There Lived a Pokemon in a forest. In the forest, the Pokemon shed its hide to sleep as a human. Awakened, the human dons the Pokemon hide to roam villages.'

The world has changed over the past 50 years; humans have lost touch with the Pokémon around them and forgot how to communicate with them. With the lost connection, the world has started to get sick and is slowly dying. Many of the Elders speak of a way for the connection to be restored, but only those with that still have a connection to the world around them can bring the world back to the way it was before. These special humans are the only hope that the world has to connecting with the Pokémon and work together to cleanse the world of the pollutants that now covers the most of the world. Luckily, there are wise old psychic Pokémon that aligned themselves to humans, teaching them an old trick Pokémon used to know back in the early days of Human/Pokémon relationships. These humans are taught how to transform into Pokémon, using old pelts and objects belonging to past Pokémon to give them the form of that Pokémon.

Being one of the few chosen, it is your mission to search out the ones that control each area on the world. Your first objective is to meet with your teacher and the other teachers to gather you all together and leave you under the leadership of one of the chosen.

Name: Shana Moon
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Pokemorph: Arcanine

Appearance: Long black hair tied loosely in a pony, pale blue eyes, and short…very short. She wears a short skirt and a long sleeved shirt that fans at the end.

Personality: She is rash, head strong, and tends to be a tad over-bearing. She is willing to go as far as she can for a friend, to a point of collapsing from no rest. She is also very kind when it comes to children and small Pokémon. Though she is rash, she is a good leader and will protect those around her.

History: She was raised in a small town, taught at a young age about Pokémon and how they are connected to the world around her. Not long after her 19th birthday, she was taken into the care of her teacher, so that she can be taught how to transform into a Pokémon.

As she lived with her teacher, whom usually took the form of a human around her, she and him had grown closer than most would deem "proper". After a long time together, her teacher revealed whom he was, transforming into his pokemon form. He did this to try to break the closeness of their relationship to spare her scorn from human society. To his surprise, it didn't break their relationship but only made it stronger.

Her teacher was the one that gave her the Arcanine pelt that she wears when she transforms.

Name: Flint Shark
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Pokemorph: Manectric
Appearance: When he's Pokemorphed, he has an X shaped scar over his right eye. But when he is not Pokemorphed, he wears the Manectric pelt like a scarf. He has wild black hair, greenish gray eyes, pretty tall but slouches. Black jeans and wears a white shirt with a loose vest.
Personality: He's reckless. He's stupid but actually has some pretty great ideas. If you were to describe him, he'd be known to people as the "idiot genius". He's pretty stupid overall but he has some pretty good ideas at times. He thinks outside the box.
History: He wanted power in the beginning. So he sought out Darkrai. Darkrai agreed to teach him but began to leech Flint's dreams and turn them into nightmares. He told Flint that it was all part of the "training". Darkrai also began to teach him the arts of dream eating and turning them into nightmares. But Cresselia saved him from the darkness. She stumbled upon him in Canalave City trying to help the sailor's son recover from his nightmares.

She saw that he was compassionate, not really bad. So she took him under her wing and began to "purify" him. She taught him the basics of Pokemorphing but couldn't make him forget the art of dream eating. So she did everything else she could to help him.

For his 13th birthday, she gave him the pelt of a friend that had died, helping others. She told him that his spirit was still in the pelt and would help see right from wrong. Also, she said that they were very much alike, both reckless and creative. So she left him, leaving him to pass on the knowledge he had learned to help others.

Name: Timothy
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Pokemorph: Quilava
Teacher: Mew

Appearance: Timothy is a thin and gangly looking boy, pretty tall for his age, but not too tall, with long legs and a carefree grin. His hair is a dark brown and close-cropped to the sides of his head, but left a bit longer on top, and his eyes are a deep blue. He has a round face and soft spray of freckles across his face, and he has dimples when he smiles.

He normally wears jean shorts that cut off at about mid thigh, a tee-shirt (blue), white knee socks, running shoes, and a black baseball cap. He often binds his arms with bandages. He carries the pelt of a Quilava tied around his waist.

In his Quilava form, he's pretty average looking, if a bit more blue than blue-green in the darker spots.

Personality: Timothy is...very hyperactive. He can hardly keep still unless something catches his interest, and even then it's not for long. He's got a rather loud mouth as well, and he tends to swear more than I kid his age probably should. Overall, though, he's very friendly and fun to have around, if you don't mind his tendency to loose interest quickly.

History: Timothy comes from a pretty large and close-knit family, with a large number of brothers, sisters, cousins, and so forth under the same roof. He left to go to a boarding school at the age of 12, after a mysterious benefactor payed for the expensive fees to get in. It turned out that this benefactor was his teacher; Mew. She taught him very well after revealing herself, and he even started to act even more hyper and cheerful from her influence.

Then, she gifted him his pelt; the smooth, fireproof fur of a Quilava. He quickly mastered the transformation into the fire type, and quite enjoyed being able to run around in the wilds as a Pokemon.

Name: Arylett C. Dawnsborough

Age: 18.

Gender: La Feminine.

Pokemorph: Flaaffy.

Appearance: She's got dark brown (or black) curly hair that's rather thick but short, being a little over shoulder length, brown eyes, and glasses over them. Also, she's short, not surpassing five feet. In terms of outfit, she wears a long plaid red shirt that goes over a black tank-top and black jeans. Also, sandals. Aaand lastly, a huge plaid red bag, in which she carries her pelt.

When in Pokemon form, not much is different from a regular Flaaffy, except for having thicker and shorter fleece.

Personality: Rather quiet and shy type of deal, but once you get her rolling, she can be very boisterous and loud, often tending to ramble endlessly about strange topics and surprising people along the way. Some may find her antics amusing, others annoying. Generally though, she's not a bad person, just rather awkward at times.

History: Living in the suburbs was always a rather mundane and boring existence, made slightly more interesting by a mysterious friend her parents would invite over often. When she was young, she suffered from severe shyness, and as a result, did not make any friends her age. However, she would often hang about this friend of her parents... a friend who would teach her interesting things. She was rather lonely, and pretty much, their friend became her only and best friend.

Well, as it turns out, that friend, upon Arylett's 16th birthday, revealed themself to be none other than Mesprit. Many things were expounded, and Arylett soon was trained in the art of transforming into a Pokemon. Of course, much to to her chagrin, her pelt was that of a Flaaffy, a Pokemon which... well... wasn't really that cool looking or that awesome as she would've liked. Still to this day, she isn't really too fond of her form, feeling rather ashamed and hiding her pelt always in her bag.

Teacher: Mesprit.

Other: And I think it's gonna be a long long long time, ROCKET MAAAAAN, FLYYYYING TO THE MOOOOON~

Name: Feratu 'Fer' Aculand
Age: 15-going-on-16
Gender: Male
Pokémon Forme:


Appearance: Fer has shaggy, gray-brown hair that completely covers his ears and stops just short of his neck. He often flips it out of his eyes, which themselves are tawny gold; they rather resemble those of a bird of prey. His nose is ramrod-straight and pointedly pointed. His ears are a tad pointed and attach to his head by the lobes entirely. The beginnings of a scraggly beard and mustache coat his chin and mouth. His nails are ragged and chewed, but not overly short.

His toenails, on the other hand, are hard and slightly pointed. His legs are long and a tad slender, in a bit of a contrast with his arms, which are ever-so-slightly shorter than average and rather muscular.

Fer has a little woven pendent around his neck most of the time, and is loathe to part with it.

Personality: Fer is quizzical and asks a lot of questions when something new is presented to him. He also is quick to explain things to others, often going off onto tangents without noticing it or taking a breath. He gets antsy if he has to wait for long periods of time, as patience is most definitely not his strong suit.

Fer can also be a tad critical or sarcastic at times, but normally doesn't mean to offend. He's rather quick to jump on someone's failings, though so watch out. If you correct him, he'll just process the information and change his attitude based on it, perhaps with a quick apology.

History: As a young child, Fer was even more inquisitive than he is now, following around villagefolk and asking an unending torrent of inquiries. In particular, he followed around a person whom he found especially interesting.

Uxie, for of course it was the Psychic-type, took an interest in the boy, and soon adopted him as an apprentice, teaching Fer how to use the power of the Skarmory pelt. Not much to say after that.

Name: Joe Joesson
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Pokemorph: Gligar
Appearance: As his normal human self he has; short black hair, dark brown eyes, wears a long sleeved top with a faded red and orange flame design and wears faded black jeans. As a gligar he looks average exept for red lines around the edge of his claws and tail.
Personality: He is short tempered, critical, slightly cynical, tends to get overly engrossed in battle, but is also intelligent, cunning, loyal to his allies and relentlessly persistent.
History: He was raised in a big city and found most things easy to do when he was being taught but due to his short temper found many people irritating and told them so naturally this didn't exactly make him popular so his natural loyalty never showed.
When he was 18 Azelf appeared to him while he was outside the city calming down and relaxing that night watching the moon, Azelf first appeared only as a blurred image when Joe said that Azelf looked similar to one of the pokemon from the old Sinnoh legends he had once studied, Azelf showed its true form sensing that Joe could be trusted and told him how humans and pokemon are losing touch and that he could be one of the few to try and fix things. After two years of being taught by Azelf he was told about the old technique of transformation of humans into pokemon and vice-versa and told him where to look for a pelt, that night he went there and found his Gligar pelt.

Other: On the night he got his gligar pelt a waning gibbous moon was in the sky.

Name: Ven

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Pokemorph: Lucario

Appearance:Ven is a thin, nimble boy. Ven is about one-and-a-half meters tall. He has tan skin, and dark brown eyes. He wears a black zip-up sweater with a plain navy blue T-shirt, blue jeans, and black running shoes. Ven has jet-black hair that is slightly long. He has a odd spiral scar around his right thigh, although, he has no idea on how he got it. Ven also wears a X-shaped metal pendant that is a family heirloom, and has two pointed fang-like teeth. He also has a moon-shaped birth mark on his forehead.

Personality: A calm and cool individual with a cocky attitude, but is also extremely lazy, as he prefers to dump his work onto others. He enjoys to fight and is quite competitive to just about anyone. He is a sarcastic, curious person and prefers to see the 'bleaker' side of things. Ven relies on instinct rather then his intelligence when fight. But he is not exactly stupid. In fact, he is quite smart, but to lazy to put it into use. He despises people you manipulate others and gives them false hope.

History: Ven used to live with his family in a modest house, with a modest income, in a large city. His life was all fine and dandy, until there was financial trouble. For some reason, all the money his family had in a bank suddenly disappeared, and they had a lot of debts to pay.

His parents are very superstitious characters (which is easily seen from the number of talismans and other trinkets around their house) and went to a local fortune teller to tell them what is going on. She said that the moon is the source. So, Ven's parents that he (and his moon-shaped birthmark) are reasons for their troubles. But, the are loving parents and did not send him away. And not long after, they were nearly broke. So, they shipped him to the closest orphanage with tears in their eyes and a promise to pick him up when they have enough money. But, Ven did not like that plan, not at all. So, at the first night, he left to wander the streets with the feeling of neglect and despised by his family.

The next day, he heard a strange, soothing voice that called to him. He immediately answered it's call, and eventually, he saw the great pokemon that is Cresselia, and a old pelt of a Lucario. Cresselia took the boy in, and taught him the old ways, and soon, he was able to use it. And with it, he felt the spirit, and became the form of that Lucario.

Teacher: Cresselia

Other: The history is a bit of a stretch, but right now, my brain is practically fried.... so..... yeah....

Name: Ura

Age: 13, soon 14

Gender: Female

Pokemorph: Dragonair

Appearance: As a human, Ura has long, straight brown hair, and eyes of a matching color. She's pretty tall for her age, but very skinny, with very little muscle. She usually wears casual clothes, especially jeans, but is always wearing a blue jacket, with a white band down the middle where the zipper is. She never removes this jacket, even when it's hot; she just rolls up the sleeves. She wears worn, white sneakers, along with a pair of small, (fake) diamond earrings.

As a Dragonair, Ura isn't all that unusual. She has a long, serpentine body, a white horn and belly, white, feathery ears, and blue orbs. Her orbs are quite large for a Dragonair her size, though, and are also a strange color and texture, like a spherical part of a deep, dark sea where frozen in time and attatched to her throat and tail.

Personality: Ura is pretty sympathetical, unless you get her really angry. She enjoys making people laugh, even if she makes herself look stupid sometimes. She tries to comfort everyone, and is determined to find out what problems there are, even if others don't want her to. When she gets mad, she tends to try keeping her calm first, but eventually either punches someone (which she hasn't done in a while, and doesn't want to do again soon) or just walks away. She does hold grudges, and likes trying to do little things to make life miserable for people she hates. She loves learning, and her friends tell her she's smart, though she's not all that sure of it.

History: Ura lived in a very small village, with maybe only a couple hundred residents. Despite this, it still had a school, which Ura attended eagerly. In the fifth grade, her teacher seemed to take a particular interest in her, and watched her wherever she was going.

One day, the teacher asked to see her alone after class, so she stayed with him/her when the others went out to walk home. After a brief discussion, he/she mentioned that she was talented, in a way that no one else in the school was. He/she revealed him/herself to be Uxie, much to Ura's surprise. Uxie explained its plan, and took Ura as an apprentice, teaching her to transform into a Dragonair and harness its powers.

Teacher: Uxie

Other: Moon Sand, Moon Sand, the sand that you can mold~

I know I suck with the description of Ura's orbs, but it's hard to describe. They're a kind of sapphire-blue like water, but maybe a little translucent too, with some paler sections, like bubbles of air.

Also, I'm not sure which gender Uxie is supposed to be in human form, hence the him/hers and he/shes.

Name: Judah 'Jude' Cox

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Pokemorph: Beautifly

Appearance: Short red hair and stunning hazel eyes catching attention, he's a fairly attractive young kid. All except for the scar trailing down the left side of his face, gotten from an angry Grovyle when he was only a month old. Jude has pale skin and usually wears normal clothing items: green shirts, jeans(on which he drew the words "Bird bird bird, it's the word!" on with a permanent marker, much to his mother's dissapproval), and black shoes. Jewlery is simply a yellow rubber bracelet.
As a Beautifly, he looks completely normal, except for the scar running down the side of his face.

Personality: A little obnoxious and stubborn, though truely kind and respectful to others. He also keeps to himself when upset. Also, due to the fact he has the Beautifly pelt, once belonging to his sister, he's a little embarassed about the feminine Pokemon.

History: Born with an identical twin to a pair of teenaged parents, Jude faced a lot of issues. His mother went into homeschooling and his father got an early job after school, and things were exceptionally hard the first three years of his life. On his fourth birthday his parents married, and life became progressively better.
Jude and his sister Rhue went to their parents church for most of their lives, where one of the pastors took an interest in Rhue. The pastor supposedly 'stalked' the boy's twin everywhere, before realizing that they were following the wrong sibling. The pastor then recognized Jude as her/his next pupil, and revealed herself/himself to be Mesprit, promising Jude to show him how to properly use the Beautifly skin his sister got(in the mistake that she would be the pupil, and not him).

Teacher: Mesprite

Other: His favorite character from The Mighty Boosh is Howard Moon. Also, if it would be okay with shadow_lugia, he has a very slight crush on Ura.

Name: Misquer
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Pokemorph: Parasect. Transforms by donning a mushroom hat.
Appearance: I can never write this out in words, so here's a picture. He's wearing his Parasect hat. :U
Personality: Misquer likes being kind of skulky; usually he'll just hide in a dark corner listening to things until the right unexpected moment, in which he'll spontaneously step out with some sort of comment. Whenever he's with other people, he WILL cooperate in a team, but he's just as well working alone. Misquer hates fire (even though he wears an orange jacket-type thing). He's not often overly friendly, but he's not totally rude and mean either.
History: Ugh, I stink at history. I'll try though xP
Misquer didn't really know the world was falling apart. All he thought was that the humans were continuously playing pranks on him and pretending they couldn't interact with Pokemon. He repeatedly told them to stop, but of course to no avail. Nonetheless, he was rather confused when Mew appeared to him, as it was supposedly a rare Pokemon a long time ago. Misquer learned slowly, but learned nontheless.

Name: Grace Elicia
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Pokemorph: Kirlia

Appearance: Grace is just over five feet tall. Her hair is long and a silvery-black. Her eyes are light brown. On her "normal" days she would wear a thin, long-sleeved white tee shirt that seems like the moon and greenish-blue jeans, but if cold weather calls for otherwise, she would wear a green sweatshirt over her top and gray sweat pants instead of jeans. To transform she wears a delicate ruby necklace instead of the normal sapphire one that she keeps around her neck.

Personality: Grace's personality tends to be affected by those around her. If she's alone, she can actually seem a bit depressed and unmotivated, but with a calm and helpful demeanor. When she's around people, though, she's joyful and wants to make friends with a lot of people; she can even seem a bit naive. When others are down, she tries her best to cheer them up because she knows that their emotions can potentially affect her.

She absolutely loves sunny days, being outside and dancing. But she doesn't like being rushed or stressed, or being dragged somewhere she doesn't want to go. Grace is very conservative and calm, and doesn't really mind insults. However, she does remember those who are disrespectful to her...

History: Grace lived in a city all her life, which is why she likes being around other people. She was used to being independent because she was an only child and her father didn't live with her; her mother was the only one who shared the small apartment. She was never really even introduced to the concept of Pokemon and humans, except in history class, in which she never really did well because it's hard for her to understand for such things. But she was excellent at language, and developed a liking for poetry. This is what led her to be interested in dance.

She received her sapphire necklace from her mother, but the ruby necklace was a gift from a close friend, and thus Grace considers it imbued with the emotions she shared from her friend before the friend moved. This is why it gives her the strength she needs to morph.
