The Story: In every (main) region; Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, various oddities are beginning to randomly appear. For instance, a massive mountain appeared on Route 101, and those who have attempted to reach the top have never come back down. A chasm appeared in the ocean off of Dewford that no one has dared to explore. No one knows why they have appeared.
As well, there have been many more sightings of legendary Pokemon, and many vicious attacks from them. There have been many reports of seeing the same legendary Pokemon in two completely different places at the exact same time. Many of the sighters have noted that the legendary Pokemon appear to be looking darker and darker at every appearance.
Scientists have been trying to find an answer to what exactly is going on with the legendaries, and still have not found out why. Many trainers have begun to investigate on their own accord. You are one of them.
You are part of a group of trainers who are travelling together to figure out what is going on. They consist of Pokemon Rangers, Breeders, Trainers, and even a few Pokemon who joined on their own accord. They are currently in the Johto region.
The Application: You can be either a Pokemon Ranger, Trainer, or a Pokemon itself.

Partner Pokemon:
Slip, the Snover, has travelled with Chuck since he first became a ranger. Snover is usually very quiet, and is very powerful. Although being an assistant to Chuck as a Pokemon Ranger, she likes to battle.
Personality: Chuck is very intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. He is very brave.
Bio: Chuck was born in the Fiore region and moved to the Johto region soon after. He became extremely interested in the various oddities occuring, and was quick to join the investigation of it.
Appearance: Chuck is very tall and muscular. He only wears a ranger hat to symbolize that he is a ranger. He wears a black T-shirt and a black jacket over it, and jeans.

I'm going to try to limit this to around ten people, but there may end up being more if applying is as maddening as my last fic.
Oddities: So, I mentioned the oddities that were appearing. Here is a list of them.
Kanto: Seafoam Islands growing to be a towering mountain
Celadon being placed into perpetual darkness
The Cinnabar Island Volcano developing a maze-like cave at the foot of it.
The Power Plant has an underground part to it that is blindingly bright
Johto: Everyone who has gone into Mt. Silver has never come back
Roars are constantly heard from Dark Cave
The outside of Union cave occasionally leaks a blood-like substance
The trees in Ilex forest have grown to be almost a mile tall and 50 feet in diameter.
The Olivine city and Cianwood city had to be moved more inland to avoid being flooded from the routes around the Whirl Islands.
Hoenn: There is a deep chasm in the ocean outside of Dewford
On route 101, a mountain appeared which all climbers have never returned
Two other islands developed around Sootopolis.
The Safari zone is overrun with Psychic and flying types.
Sinnoh: Sky Pillar has vanished
The three lakes overflowed, flooding most of the routes around them.
All people who ventured into turnback cave have never returned
Floaroma Town's flowers are massive, growing to heights of 30 feet
Stark Mountain sometimes spouts lava
