<Swarm>

First off, use Bug Bite, unless she protects. If so, use Toxic instead. Then repeat because I like to spam moves.

Hmm. A rather dull stratagy, don't you think, Sabriel? Although with STAB and weakness, it's fairly effective. Let's see if we can't turn it around.

Start off with a Torment, to limit some of the hits (and with the hope that the bug won't think to switch to Toxic). Follow with a Sand Attack, and finish with a Fire Fang.

A faint breeze blew as a trio reunited in a yard. They intended to ignore what went down beneath the walls nearby, and have a simple battle that they hoped would remain normal.

ole_schooler sent out a small, quadrupedal creature with very long, bushy gray hair and canine features. In response, Barubu sent out a peculiar, relatively large, bipedal bug with eerie green eyes and mostly black body, with the exception of a red stripe that ran across his torso and an also red section his head that covered roughly half of it. Metallica Fanboy was surprised -- that Pokémon certainly had differences from his own Heracross, even if only purely aesthetical.

The commands were issued and it was finally time for the fists to meet.

Kaemelotte powerfully stomped the ground and prepared to charge. With an overwhelming leap, he opened his mouth, gnawing on the enemy's backside as he landed. The attack's victim was clearly distressed, struggling frantically to get away, unable to do it.

However, after being bit, Sabriel had to put on a brave face. She had to pretend like she was absolutely unharmed. Considering that it was only the first blow of the match, it wasn't particularly difficult. She openly mocked her opponent's strategy, bringing it into question whether he was man (or bug) enough to do try something like actually using those overgrown fists or that ridiculous horn.

The Heracross' morale was devastated. Not only he had been humiliated about his first strike, but he also had his looks ridiculed and his manliness (or buginess) called into question. By a wimpy mutt, no less. But his foe was not yet satisfied; she still intended to rub some salt on his wound. Or, on a less figurative plane, fling some dust into his eyes. That was it -- now the otherwise fearsome fighter was brought down to a weak pile of misery that couldn't even see properly anymore. He would take a while to get his act together.

Somewhere between his confused sobs, though, he still managed to slide in some adherence to orders. Despite his hindered vision, he could pinpoint the target's general direction, delivering one more painful chomp.

It was frustrating for the Poochyena -- all this effort, and yet, the damn bettle was still on to her. Her next order was possibly the most satisfying she could possibly get by then. With a fierce snarl, she summonned flames to her mouth and gave the hostile a taste of his own medicine (or the exact opposite thereof) with a vicious clamp of her sharp, strong fangs. The attack had Kaemelotte screaming in pure agony, which could only add to his woes.

As in, something I should know regarding what the arena looks like and other stuff that may come up while I describe the battle.

I would guess...recess-like?

Anyway, that was kind of an eh round, Sabriel, but you are facing a double weakness. Time to play to strengths.

Open with a Double Team; between that and the sand in his eyes, the Heracross shouldn't hit you too much. Then, well, bat your eyes, move up close (with all your clones) and do your best to Attract the poor, blind bug. If you were successful, finish off by Howling your victory. If not, show your scorn with a Poison Fang.

Oh, and if he takes a cheap out and Taunts you, go ahead and switch to Fire Fang for as long as you have to.

Double Team/Fire Fang~Attract/Fire Fang~Howl/Poison Fang/Fire Fang

It's just a big field surrounded by forest, nothing else.

Start off with Vacuum Wave, so you'l have more of a chance of hitting. Then, Rest (Hoping things can't attract sleeping things). Finally, use Sleep Talk for randomness.

With new commands issued, the battlers once more faced each other.

Striving to make up for what earned him ridicule earlier, Kaemelotte opened the round with a devastatingly fast thurst of his arm onto the air, pumping a wave of Fighting-type energy square on the unsuspecting opponent's legs, tripping her.

The forced mishap angered Sabriel and tempted her to strike, but she managed to stick to the orders, putting on a sprint around the ample field. Eventually, she reached such speeds that, to the beholder, she seemed to be a gray dash circling the area. By the time she settled down, there were four of her.

Much to her surprise, though, her opponent was dauntless. Instead, he seemed relaxed, eyes closed and deep breaths. Soon, a light blue aura shone around him as he laid down on the grass, his body working hard to heal whatever little damage he might have taken up to that point. His psychological worries were also healed quickly and effectively.

His foe was still tempted to pummel him, but worse than not being a full-fledged attack, her next command was actually for her to wow him. Disgusted, the Poochyena approached the slumbering target and whispered sweet words to him for as long as she could before the utter disgust had the better of her. She had done enough, though; by the time she was done, he was already dreaming of her.

In his dreams, a flock of fearsome birds -- damn those birds! -- covered the skies. He bravely stood on the end of a cliff, challenging them all while shielding his beloved from them. As the avians made their advance, he laughed, then let a sheet of liquid metal pour from within him, making a sturdy armour of his shell. The beaks of the fliers met his skin with astonishment as his heroism was admired by the small, canine Pokémon by his side. With a confident grin, he proceeded to pummel each one of the attackers.

In the real world, he was playing out the whole scene. His punches struck at nothing, but one could obviously see the new addition to his shell.

Still waiting eagerly for her chance to wipe that silly grin off his face, Sabriel looked at the skies and let out a long, high-pitched howl, releasing the wilderness within her and stimulating her primal instincts. The newfound strenght only made it all the more desirable to strike.

Use Fire Fang twice on the big sleeping lummox; then, after he's awake, spray a Sand Attack everywhere to root out which is the real Heracross and which are just illusions. (If the ref deems that illegal, just use a regular Sand Attack against one of them.)

@Ole_schooler: If you did not agree to ending this battle in a draw, please notify me, so I can delete this post.

Ending this in a draw as per request.
Both trainers had 1 pokemon used against them, so $4 goes to each person. Kaemelotte and Sabriel each get 1 exp. I get $2.

Actually, I've had the reffing for this done for a while now, I've just been holding off on putting up so as to avoid sounding unfair toward the other battlers whose battles I'm reffing.

ole_schooler knows about this, so, unless the issue isn't activity, I'm pretty sure she'll agree to let it continue.

Well, the reffing is ready, but, I'm typing this from an iPhone that's not even mine and I won't be getting to use my actual computer until next year.

And here it is. Sorry for making you guys wait even longer than necessary.

Commands dealt and signal given, Sabriel made a sudden leap toward the enemy, but, halfway through it, decided to prowl around the target and threaten before striking. It was for naught; he slumbered on, totally unaware of this display of animosity.

Meanwhile, in his dreams, the big bad of the fictional situation flew down. Right in front of him, a tall, enormous mass of orange scales. With a loud roar, the brutal Dragonite attempted to jab its target with its strong claws. Kaemelotte dodged this initial strike with great agility, and noted the amazing size of his foe, which would prove to be its downfall. All it took was one quick, sweeping kick to the back of the ankle. Growling in desperation, the great dragon tripped and fell down the cliff.

In reality, the Heracross kept on reenacting his fantasies. His sweeping kick went right after one of his opponent's copies, making it vanish into thin air. Alarmed by the sudden movement, she made an immediate counter attack with yet one more vicious bite to the arm, flames gushing out of her mouth.

Despite the ferocity of the attack, though, the sleeping battler did not even flinch. He was still deep inside dreamland. Now the dragon was out, and the remaining birds were fleeing. It was a satisfactory outcome, made even moreso by the fact he was now alone with his love. The pleasure deepened the large insect's slumber, and soon enough, he was letting out amazingly loud snores. The noise was so horrible, it was practically offensive to the ears. His foe struggled for cover as the other one of her clones fizzled away into thin air.

Even angrier now, the hyena Pokémon leapt at her target's horn with a savage lock of jaws, again spouting fire along with it. It seemed to be just as effective as the other as the other strike, which was fairly effective, but hardly enough to satisfy the Dark-type's violent drive.

Just when she let go, the unusually red-and-black Pokémon's green eyes came open, marking the end of one lenghty rest. He was still rather sleepy, but found enough energy to start sprinting, which in turn helped him regain mental awareness. As he dashed, his image became blurry. By the time he settled, there seemed to be six of him.

Sabriel didn't seem to be as proud of the afterimages as he was, though, and immediately tore through every single one of them by kicking up a spray of dirt. Exposed, the real Kaemelotte chose to interpret that action as playing hard to get, and was eager to try other tricks until something worked.

- Sleep Talk rolled Low Kick. And it missed.
- Sand-Attack for the purpose of destroying clones is valid, but I'd think it would be either pretty hard or plain impossible to shoot from a lower point into twelve high targets (i.e. all the clones' eyes), so, no accuracy drops resulted from the attack.
