blazheirio889 vs. Grass King

We're winning Epsionage, so lets just do the same as last round: Thunderbolt if she is Fire, Ice or Water. Ice Beam if she is Electric, Grass, Rock, or Dark. If she is Ghost, Psychic or not changed, the use Shadow Ball. If for some reason you can't use a given attack, replace Thunderbolt with Shadow Ball, Shadow Ball with Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam with Shadow Ball.

Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball/Ice Beam ~ Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball/Ice Beam ~ Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball/Ice Beam

Wait to see what type Espionage turns into. If it's anything other than Psychic or Dark, then turn invisible and hop about a bit so that Espionage has no idea where you are, then spam Psychic. Since it's just mental invasion, it shouldn't give any indication of your whereabouts.

If she is Dark typed, screw turning invisible and just keep using Energy Ball.

If she is Psychic, also screw turning invisible and just keep using Shadow Ball.

Arena: Evolution Stone Cave

Our battle today takes place in the most sparkly, shiny, impossible place ever; the Evolution Stone Cave. The cave is pretty big, with enough space to comfortably fit a Wailord, and with a ring of deep water surrounding the arena. No Wailords are allowed, however. The thing that gets everyone about here though, is the millions and billions of bits of shiny evolution stones embedded in the ground, ceiling and walls. Though these bits are pretty small, if you took a piece out it wouldn't count as an evolution stone so don't try that. Also scattered around the cave are gems, all shining and glittering in some unknown source of light.

The pure power of the evolution stones is pretty concentrated here. Every round, the Pokemon have a 95% chance of changing types; from whatever type they are to either Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Rock, Dark, Ice, Psychic or Ghost. All abilities of the Pokemon remain the same, ghosts can still phase or turn invisible, flying types can still fly. All effects dispel after the end of the round.

Round XIII Begin

The round began as usual; the gemstones shone and in a flash the Pokémon were shifting again, and both of them began to shine as an electric current went through their veins, and soon they were both glowing a bright yellow and giving off cackling sparks, glaring at each other, impatiently awaiting for the signal that would give them the formal authorization of kicking each other’s butt.

The referee waved his flag.

For an instant, Espionage blinked, and it was over. Chir Batti had disappeared, had faded away of existence and was currently floating about in a semi-living state, nastily enjoying her foe’s dismay as the chameleon looked around, growingly worried. For a few minutes, she swiped the air in vain hope of finding the mischievous ghost. After a short while, though, she had to stop; a sickening migraine had struck her, and she had to kneel down as the pain grew unbearable. Confused and frightened, her eyeballs went mad and she looked around in all the directions, but Chir Batti was nowhere to be found. The headache finally settled, but not without leaving Espionage slightly dizzy.

The electrified reptile stood up slowly, suspiciously eying her surroundings. She came to realize what her opponent had done, and began to panic as she saw no one of remedying the problem. Still, she had to follow the orders, and the orders were to freeze that candle’s pants. She opened her mouth wide and shot a thin jet of freezing air, sweeping it around to give it optimal chances of actually hitting something. Predictably, though, the Ice Beam pierced nothing but thin air and ended its course on the opposite wall, exploding in a burst of energy that turned into solid icicles in a flash. Espionage gave out a croak of rage, but nonetheless braced herself for the next attack.

And it came soon enough, once more forcing the Kecleon to the ground under the sheer pressure of the psychic assault. Shaking, Espionage shot another Ice Beam in a generally random direction, and this time the stream of energy popped in mid-air, having hit its target - seemingly by pure luck. Espionage caught a glimpse of her foe as she recoiled, but the ghost-type quickly disappeared again, and the mental torture resumed. The brain wreckage that ensued seemed even more painful than the other, mostly due to her already weakened mind, and it left her with a great deal of liquefied neurons.

For a third time, she fired a beam of sub-zero energy, describing circles while doing so. Unfortunately for her, the maneuver was useless, and it only resulted it a larger surface of frozen walls, and she croaked in anger before the complete fiasco of the round. Goddamn ghosts.

Damage and Energy Calculations

Psychic – 11% damage, 11% energy
Ice Beam – 7% energy
Psychic – 11% damage, 11% energy
Ice Beam – 5% damage, 7% energy
Psychic – 13% damage, 11% energy
Ice Beam – 7% energy

Notes:

- This round, both of the battlers turned Electric-type.
- The two last Psychics caused a special defense drop.
- I gave Ice Beam an accuracy of 30 (accuracy of OHKO moves) plus 10 because of Hone Claws’ accuracy boost.

Arena Notes:

- Some walls are scorched black by the Overheat.
- Chunks of rocks are missing on the walls from the substitutes.
- Several shadows are missing where there should be some (okay I know it’s physically impossible but stfu this is Pokémon).
- There are several chunks of ice clinging to the walls.
- Trick Room is active (two more actions).

Next Round:

- blazheirio889 orders first.

I believe it is a mix of being super-unevolved, having it unstabbed, having low PP and having +2 special attack. I can recheck though.

Yup. 11% it is.

EDIT: I use Kratos' calculator btw.

Oh, I wasn't aware that more special attack meant more energy. By my scale it takes 8%. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Chir Batti, we're in a bit of a pickle... I'm doubting we can get out of this, but who cares, EXP get. Turn visible, first of all - we need that energy. Then go ahead and lob a Toxic at Espionage. If you can't hit her with Toxic for any reason, do nothing. Then... do nothing for the remaining actions. If Espionage tries to Chill, pre-empt her with Taunt, except on the last action, in which case just do nothing again.

If you are fully paralyzed, shuffle your actions.

Toxic/Taunt/Nothing x3

Okay Magic Coat any Toxic's. On your first free action Psych Up. If you have a free action then Shadow Ball her.

Round XIV Begin

As the round began and the gems encrusted in the walls awoke, Chir Batti reappeared, only a few feet away from her foe, just in time for the weird energy of the cave to engulf her in swirls of light long with Espionage. She did not change much, though – actually she stayed pretty much the same bar for the warm air around her; it cooled down drastically shortly after the light dissipated. Espionage, however, didn’t escape as unscathed. Her entire body was now a warningly orange; her scales were hot to the touch and wisps of smoke flied out her nostrils as she breathed. She adopted a genuinely daunting stance, aware her appearance was quite intimidating now that she spitted embers.

The Litwick was far less enthusiastic than her blazing adversary. Her forces were leaving her at an alarming pace, and her very will to fight had worn off. Nevertheless, she picked herself up and concentrated on what would be her unique move for the round. Vicious bile and noxious toxins were gathered in a special pouch by some unknown parts of her inner self, and she spitted the awful mixture in Espionage’s direction. However, the violet aura that had been sparkling around her all the while did not allowed passage, exploding like a discharge of electricity and repulsing the chunk of ooze right in Chir Batti’s face, knocking her back. The slime penetrated her waxy skin and entered her weird circulatory system for good. Following her trainer’s orders, however, she did nothing but sit down and brace herself for the hits that were to come.

Slightly caught off-guard by the Litwick’s sudden inactivity, Espionage took a while to analyze the ghost-type to be sure she wasn’t planning anything nasty, but no, all she did was stay there, wait and stare. Shrugging, the Kecleon focused on copying her instead, from mimicking the hardened wax she was covered with to her apparently Zen mind state. Shortly after, she was resting quite sure she had role played her perfectly, feeling bulkier both in body and spirit.

Chir Batti was still as motionless. Espionage kept on staring at her as she felt the time flow shifting back to normal, a phenomenon her opponent seemed oblivious to, just sitting there with her arms as folded as possible given their disproportionate size. Once more ignoring the fact that she could be preparing something, the Kecleon robbed a fair amount of shadows from a corner of the cave and formed a bizarre, insubstantial projectile that she kept tight between her hands, before hurling it towards the seemingly stone-made ghost-type. The Shadow Ball exploded and washed over her tiny body, burning her skin and biting her soul.

Chir Batti stayed still. Espionage once more felt something was wrong about her, something she couldn’t get her finger on.

Round XV Begin

The battlers just stood there, catching their breath and watching their foe carefully. You know, just in case she would want to play some trick. But none of this happened. Soon, both of the Pokémon’s thoughts drifted off and they were too distracted to even notice the cave didn’t do anything at all, like it sensed it would be wasted energy.

Espionage, who was actually a fine economist wondered if the economical system as it was could live on, with all that money given away to Pokémon Care and the increasing numbers of teenagers screwing up their lives to go and catch Pokémon, preventing the government from forming any adept workers. Soon, changes would have to be made…

Chir Batti was just thinking about her old life as a living being. She wondered how she was, human or Pokémon, if she had been a mean person that could explain her after life as a dreaded candle? Lucky she had been to become a battler; most of the time Litwicks live solitary lives...

And as time fluctuated slowly and boringly, the time came to signal the round over for the referee, and his colorful flag waved sharply, snapping the battlers out of their meditation.
