Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Classic and Gamecube controllers banned.

But... but how the hell did they win!?

This is why you should have all been born in the UK, guys who need to buy them. |D *gloat*

... What the fuck.

no seriously, what the fuck. I didn't even get a classic controller yet! >_<

I've never heard of these Anascape guys before, either.

EDIT: owait. Only in the US. Well, good thing I'm in Canada.

Still, it's unbelievably stupid. :|

Well, there's still a chance. I'm sure once the appeal is made the court will side with Nintendo.

I went to my local Best Buy today and bought a Classic Controller (no GC ones, though :[ ). Apparently the ban is put on hold til the end of the appeal.

Thank god I used to have a gamecube and 2 controllers...WAIT CRAP ONE BROKE ;_;
I never had a classic controller though.
Nintendo, you better have an alternate. :D

If you want those controllers, go out now and buy one. The ban still hasn't happened since Nintendo is appealing. I know finding a Gamecube controller will be harder than a Classic (my Best Buy has NO gamecube stuff at all D:), but you have to sieze the opportunity to get one, right?

I wonder why Anascape was ok with just controllers in the US being banned?

They DO realize that Canada's Gamecube and Classic controllers are compatible, right?

*shrugs* Oh well. :D Nintendo can have a black market!

Well, Anascape is a texas-based company suing Nintendo of America. I think NoA has more money than Nintendo of Canada.

Also the ban hasn't been placed yet. I bought a classic controller yesterday.

Actually, I'm pretty sure all controllers these days are region free. I know that PS2 ones are, at least. I could just import a controller if I needed one, no big deal.
