The Coliseum was an engineering marvel; it consists of a huge circular pit 300 yards wide. The ground is covered in firly-packed sand about a foot deep; beneath that is stone foundation and the lion pits. We'll get to those later. On all sides are walls twelve feet tall (no you can't climb them or fly over them), and seated above are thousands of cheering spectators come to watch this extreme match.

Battles within the Coliseum can be overwhelming to some shyer Pokemon, and depending on how well or not they are fighting, the crowd will cheer for or against them. Pokemon being cheered for get a +1 bonus to attack and speed, and Pokemon that are being taunted get a -1 reduction of attack and defense.

At any time during the battle (but infrequently; maybe three or four times, tops) the lion pits will open. Since this is Pokemon, the lion released will be either a Luxray or an Arcanine. It will then fall upon the Pokemon closest to it and deal 40% typeless damage, and paralyze if it is Luxray or burn if it is Arcanine. It is then recalled.

Try to get as close as you can to Teropea, and perhaps climb onto her leg or something, and give 'er a Sludge Bomb! (too bad you're slower than her >: ) Then, try to climb up onto her neck or head. This should offer you some protection from Hibana's Quick Attack and that Leach Seed... Then invoke some Ancient Power on Hibana! Finally, I want you to latch onto Teropea's neck (or any other body part if you couldn't climb her very well) with Crunch.

Round 1​

First come first serve I always say! SO-I have started on a mission to clear the challenge board of matches awaitting to be reffed and the first in dire need happen to be these folks right here! Here I stand amongst a thirsty crowd of spectators just itching for entertainment! (rather than bloodshed) The Pokeballs are tossed out into the field! On one end is a Pachirisu that is rather twitchy and ready to pounce! This'll be refferred to as Habana ladies and gentlemen! Then over here....we have an Enculli! This is the tiniest savage I've ever seen! Erm-give it up for Roger! And finally-we have the biggest of the bunch! With rather tasty looking banap berrie's on her neck, welcome Teropea-the Tropius! With this blue flag for Flora-this red flag for Full Metal-and this green flag for Twitch-Let the first round-BEGIN!

Teropea raises her head high looking down at her opponents and smirked before standing up on hind legs and then bringing her front brown legs down to the dry earth fiercely. Her crash and stomping grew more and more till the sandy ground began to rupture and crack. Fragments of the ground were jumping off the ground as the earth quaked uncontrollably and the two tiny opponents tumbled hither and fro. The crowds screams were confused between excitement and fear as they shook in their seats. Hibana had curled up under his tail cowering from the great rocks but rose under his masters command. He tucked his small paws close to his body and strained as a blue flare of electricity shot out in various directions. Teropea winced but managed to avoid paralysis. Roger on the other hand, cried out angrily as his body numbed and static consumed his every move. The crowd cheered on Hibana for such triumph over the blood thirsty critter. Roger cringed and directed himself facing the Tropius. He gurgled in pain and annoyance feeling his body could not fight off this numbness as of yet and remained still. The crowd booed wanting more out of him since he seemed to be the savage. His attack and defense were lowered by one.

Teropea trots beside a lump of earth and approched Roger. He was growling and probably swearing under his breath but for now-he only eyed Teropea. Teropea extended her wings and rustled about till a seed shot out and instantly vines from within it tangled Roger in a helpless mess. The crowd let out a coo of awe and watched curiously as the Enculli struggled and thinner ends of the vines began sinking into the Enculli. Hibana glanced at Teropea and then at Roger not wanting to stand around much longer and took action. Seeing the Tropius still staring down at the little buggah he lunged at the nearest limb and clamped his tiny little jaw down on it. Her thick hind leg was struck and she felt it like a severe pinch bringing that to her attention. Hibana was grinding his little teeth away at a clump of skin and Teropea had shook her lef about on impulse to try and relieve herself of the pestering pain. The crowd watched on curiously. Roger hoped this was his chance and inched towards them sneekily. Before Teropea and Hibana knew or understood how or why-a shadow loomed over them and fragments of the earth hovered above glowing by an ancient force. Teropea began to trot along to stay out of the line of fire but as they came crashing down on Hibana, Teropea was hit too and her hind left leg was weakened thus her speed dropped down 1. Hibana let go of Teropea from the hit and was struggling to scramble out from underneath the heap of rocks. The crowd cheered for George! The Enculli soon after screeched as life was drained from him and delivered to Teropea.

Teropea limped back from Roger and looked down at Hibana who had finally squirmed out of the mess and glared having it been his fault she had a fragile leg now. Hibana however didn't stick around long and dashed off towards Roger at incredible speed. The crowds anticipation rose as they watched. He thrusted his little body against the blood sucker with his back on Teropea whose wings extended and again cast out a seed but onto the breathless squirrel that screamed in peril while the vines tangled and pierced through him. The crowd burst out in woots for the Tropius who was now feeding off of both opponents. Roger rolled back onto his stomach and kicked out his front legs to run but-he couldn't fight the paralysis or the seed and fell over with his nostrils flaring. The crowd booed getting Roger aggrivated. Teropea took a breather knowing her knubby legs weren't going to be harmed this action and closed her eyes as she regained some from Hibana and Roger.

Round 2​

What an amazing first round! The crowd is already lusting for more! Alright-let's recap. Hibana had fought and won the crowds attention the most last round. He took a sufficient amount of blows however...Roger is feeling well...not too hot. He managed to flunk majority o his actions due to head on paralysis and now is facing the consequences. Teropea is leading in health but managed to weaken one of her hind legs and has the least energy from greatly energy consuming attacks. I wonder if it'll lea to disaster. Anyway...the terrain has new obstacles consisting of surfaced earth fragments that are good for easy dodges but don't seem sturdy enough to sustain a full attack. Roughly I'd say -3 to any physical attacks otherwise, it'll just serve as a disposable target. Okay-starting round 2!

Hibana is taking it away first action with a Swift! He started by rustling his tail till he spun about and from the sweep emerged a flurry of golden stars spinning about rapidly and quite beautifully. They swiveled over to Teropea and Roger inescapable. The crowd broke into applause! Roger cringed and awaitted his turn. Once he heard the attack, he roared or...squeaked and managed to cast the earth fragments off at the troublesome rodent. The crowd rooted for Roger's success. Hibana stuttered a cry as the rocks came down upon him and Teropea grinned to herself now ignored by her opponents. Her leaf wings extended but instead of life sucker seeds came a rush of razor sharp leaves that came hurtling rapidly at the two tiny Pokemon. Hibana was just scrambling out from under the rocks when he was sliced in the face and Roger felt the sting from behind. They both squealed with the stinging sensation they recognized as a paper cut. The crowd went wild. Sharp leaves....O_O The vines of the seed drilled into their sides and captured more health for Teropea who huffed triumphantly as her lost health was slowly restored.

Hibana scuttled up and at Roger instinctively upon command already baring his teeth and launched himself at him. Roger was too busy locating Teropea to see the attack and squealed as the squirrels teeth hurt super duper bad. Roger cried out till Hibana released and gagged out clumps of hair and unpleasant flavors. The crowd cheered Hibana on for such efforts made. Roger now free of the rodent, managed to also escaped the strong paralysis and hurled a bomb of sludge at the wounded Tropius. Teropea only managed to take flight as her underbelly was struck giving her a queasy feeling but didn't poison her. The crowd let out an "aw" of varying meanings, one of which could have been to Roger's failure in poisoning and the other that Teropea only escaped the condition and not the attack. Now elevated from her fierce opponents, Teropea eagerly awaitted the small restorations of health from the seeds.

Hibana, now feeling perky and proud, looked up at Teropea and puckered his lips but found no way to get to the Tropius and let his furry purse fall into a pout. The crowd let out a sigh of sympathy for the cutieful critter. Roger on the other hand, was thrilled and couldn't wait to use his next move. Right as he summoned up energy for it, the vines brought about a fierce pain and the static grew strong holding him down. The crowd kept quiet watching him struggle curiously while Teropea dove down with her beautiful wings outstretched. The blood tirsty vermin went wide-eyed as the figure advanced on his helpless soul and screeched before feeling the heavy body lunge at him aggressively throwing him off by Hibana who stood licking his tail by a surfaced earth fragment. They broke into weak cries as Teropea healed again and the crowd was in a cheerful uproar for the Tropius.

Round 3​

Round 2 had vicious fighters but it's about to take it up a notch now that Roger is targeted! Hibana is leading so far and Teropea is hot on his tail with the crowd on her side. Roger however is struggling the most with paralysis and now on the verge of fainting. With the crowd anxiously awaitting more, we shall begin Round 3.

Hibana starts by stealing Teropea's turn with a Quick Attack that flung Roger nearer to Teropea. The hasty start made the crowd excited but not that pleased. Teropea grunted rather annoyed before casting a series of largely sized capsules in and out of Roger who was just registering the speedy blow from Hibana. Roger swiveled back and curled up motionless...The crowd was silent feeling a tad bit sad for the Pokemon.

Teropea grinned with her oponnent out and directed her attention to Hibana. From her mouth formed a green and black sphered that glowed brightly and came spinning after the squirrel. Hibana lunged out from the side and took the hit landing rather sheepishly below the Tropius. He still had to Bite and ade it his business to lunge up and bite Teropea and locked his incisors down on the leaf nearest her cheek. Teropea thrusted her head ruthlessly till Hibana let go and clung to a Banap Berry not wanting to land at the stomping feet of Teropea. The crowd broke into laughter showing no praisal for the two while more life was drained.

With the final action and only two Pokemon left, Teropea wasted no time in taking lift off of a rock fragment. Her brown underbelly came towering down on Hibana as the ray of stars came tearing out of the midst of his tail. Those powerful stars could never push aside 220 pound of Poke-gut though and crashing down she did onto Hibana. Teropea got up limping a bit from hitting her weak leg rather roughly on the ground during impact and Hibana huffed breathlessly till he stood. The crowd cheered aimlessly motivating them both for the next round...

"Now that Roger has fainted, Full Metal must send out her second Pokemon."

...Ooh, we've got competition on the field, Teropea. Well, you've gotta face this strangely-coloured, typechanged Togekiss like the giant dinosaur that you are. Er. But let's face it-- she has a type advantage against you, and without any supereffective moves, you're not going to outlive her. So let's inflict the most destriction we can until then.

Start by addling him-- Leech Seed while he's plotting nastily, then Toxic him. Afterwards, Body Slam the Pachirisu for good measure.

Round 4​

Wow. Round 4 and already a battler has lost a Pokemon. This just proves how serious a competition this is! Teropea is leading in health now or....was. Full Metal just sent out a fully healed Pokemon that came out dramatically flashing his odd colors to his half beaten opponent. Teropea grunts showing she has yet to be intimidated by this smaller opponent and Hibana breaths in short pants knowing his time is closer than theirs. Well-now that 3 Pokemon are out on the field, let's get round 4 started.

L'Arc-En-Ciel proudly starts the round with Nasty Plot. A move he had learned as a Togepi. The darkly graceful Pokemon hastily thought nasty things. Things that made a gentle creature like himself smirk and flash menacing looks at his opponents as he edged back. The crowd cheered. Teropea flared her nostrils and returned the dirty look as her great wings outstretched and they flapped till a seed sprung out and onto the hovering darkness. Immedietley on contact, vines shot out and entangled him before he could register what had just happened. Teropea stomped triumphantly and shook her head mockingly as L'Arc-En-Ciel squirmed with the vines drilling into him. The crowd went wild with Teropea's success. Hibana hugged his tail nervously but made his way between the competitve two before bouncing about hyperly. The strange dance the two stopped to gawk at burst into rapid blue streaks that struck them both. L'Arc-En-Ciel cried out as paralysis overwhelmed his body and Teropea rustled her leaves grateful to have narrowly escaped another stat condition. The crowd wooted for Hibana. The life capsules hastily drew health from its victims.

L'Arc-En-Ciel groaned now bound to the struggles his companion had faced and lost miserbaly to. Feeling it was time to take on his next command he prepared to dive into action upon the dinosaur. Teropea grinned at the incoming target and prepared an ooze on her tongue but-L'Arc-En-Ciel spiraled down! The crowd went into panicing cries. The static forcing his body into submission at the foot of a strange circle. It was connected to a chain that was tugged on roughly by a man at the far end of the arena. A door that had been covered heavily in dirt sprung up and a big cat of black and blue came crashing down upon him. Teropea staggered back nervously sputtering the toxic ooze onto the chains that bound the Luxray to the pit. The crowd did not notice her mistake too focused on the Togekiss that was just savagely attacked. The Luxray roared and lunged again but was dragged back inside the pit with a rusting chain. With L'Arc-En-Ciel already paralyzed, only damage had been done. Hibana gathered sparks excitedly around her body and lunged at the fallen Togekiss. L'Arc-En-Ciel tumbled off to the side and the crowd broke out into an uproar that made Hibana grow scared and backed away a bit. More life was taken.

L'Arc-En-Ciel rose up out of the dirt wearily realizing how tough fighting in a place like this really was and looked quickly at Hibana who was shaded beneath Teropea's left wing. L'Arc-En-Ciel was driven by anger but still could not escape the wrath of paralysis and grumbled dragging himself out of reach of the pit for...obvious reasons. The crowd only showed sympathy and spared him of hateful chants. Teropea stood on her hind legs mockingly and from there, gained height as she flapped her wings rapidly. Hibana dug his nails into the ground beneath his as the air of her wings lashed at him threateningly and he glanced up at the shadow that grew darker over him. His best chance was the leg! He propelled himself up off the ground till his incisors locked onto the shin of Teropea's weakened leg and she shrieked as she landed still crushing the rodent that squirmed as life was stolen. The crowd cheered madly at the motivative impact. L'Arc-En-Ciel was hidden behind an earth fragment eyeing Teropea with hate even through such gentler eyes.
