Grey/Gray discussion

I sure hope they put in Move Tutors again. You have no idea how many times I've thought to myself that the elemental punches would be good for so many of the Gen V pokemon.

Move tutors, yes...so Houndoom can learn a Special Dark move that's not Snarl :c

I'm more interested in Pokemon availability, new moves to learn, egg moves, etc. than any story stuff, really.

While I'd like to see serperior with more attack variety, it learns no biting moves ever, so the elemental fangs are unlikely.

Dark pulse tutoring is a must, though.

The move tutors can be those little kids next to the move relearner in Mistralton.

Also, here's a brainwave: Kyurem is wuji, or balance of yin and yang. The twist is Reshiram/Zekrom run wild, and you have to capture Kyurem to calm them, with heavy opposition from Plasma (they want to have either of the dragons to come to N voluntarily, and Kyurem will ruin that). Then N captures one of them, and you now have to capture the other one (the one inside the stone).

Speaking of which, I don't mean get Reshiram/Zekrom before Opelucid, I mean get the Light/Dark Stone before then, dropped by a Plasma grunt after the museum raid. That determines Opelucid and the version exclusive areas. Once you finish the game, Kyurem will create the stones again to store some of their power, and you take that to Opelucid's scientist and he can change the city style and the area.

Plus Serperior needs to get the elemental fangs. So I am completely in support of move tutors.

Not to mention the fact that grass-types rarely get elemental fang/punch moves in the first place. Thunder fang is the only one that's even remotely compatible with a standard grass-type (pokémon almost never get elefangs/elepunches that are of types they're weak to, with a few notable exceptions), and how many grass-types have you seen that get electric moves aside from maybe thunder wave?

IMO there are better moves they could use the tutor slots on anyway, so. It's not like a 65 BP non-STAB move is going to do a whole lot coming off of serperior's atrocious offensive stats.

ok um how do i battle? lol

ok um how do I troll? lol

A reason you may not know how to use the site or that you may are a troll: You're asking how to battle in a game that we don't know of anything about. Grey (I'm in America, I JUST LIKE THE PAL WAY OF GREY :D) hasn't even been confirmed if it is coming out or not.
If you are being serious, then you move the cursor (A box looking thing) or you touch the screen for "Fight" then you select your move. Refer to the game manual for this. If this is the case, -takes and throws to another section- You need to either go into Main Series or the Spin off Section. if you still cannot figure out how to battle, watch some tutorials online or something. If then you still can not figure out, then you're a lost cause.
No offense meant if you are mistaken. Offense meant if you are a troll.

Yeah, I agree, we do need move tutors. Possibly that take BP or Something else. A Battle Frontier is a must. I never participated in them, I just like their purdy colors (Lol, I usually don't have enough time. I try, but then get busy with something else.)
We do need more mini game things. Possible in Nimbasa/or Castelia they add a building with some arcade games.
Or nobody has thought of this crucial thing yet..I think-A casino, like there was in Mauville City. The messed that up in HG/SS, the game was a version of minesweeper. That was okay, but I liked the chance games, not the logic. Logics too easy.
Finally, more uses for dive. I feel like the game designers simply put the dive function in at the last second. Its only used with the Ayssal Ruin. Theres some much items, it's rather annoying. I was hoping there was a special Pokemon at the bottom but nope. Items ;n;

Also, who says that Grey can't have it's own version of Opelucid or Black City/White Forest? Maybe it is that you get Kyurem, and N gets Zekrom and/or Reshiram. Possibly if this happens, Opelucid will be a modern town. Fuji is in between right? Whats in between futuristic and old looks? Modern Looks. I'm not entirely sure for what might take the place of Black City/White Forest.

Can you please stop using BP as an abbreviation for two separate things? It's confusing.
Anyways, I can see Ghetsis getting one and N getting the other. And you getting kyurem.

There was a casino in Japanese HG/SS, they just took it out because they thought it encouraged kids to gamble. So.. Odds are, no casino in grey...

-pulls out deck of cards, and deals them- Darn D:.

Instead now, I'm hoping for the "Game-Corner" with the guy who plays a Pokemon version of minesweeper with you. Maybe instead, they add in Game Arcade?

I know this may seem odd, but I'd like to learn more about the regions we are exploring. What kind of government do they have? Religious Beliefs? Culture? and so on. It could get very controversial though..

would you like to propose alternative names for battle points and base power?

and if ghetsis were to get one and N the other, which would get which? they would become unequal in plot importance, and when has that ever happened to version mascots?

as for move tutors, I want the moves we no longer have tms of. except stealth rock. I quite dislike stealth rock.

Ghetsis might get Reshiram, since it's not weak to ice.

To keep them truly equal, though, N would have to catch both at the Dragonspiral Tower, and face you in a double battle with Reshiram and Zekrom out at the same time.

A bunch of moves on this list still exist as TMs - most obviously blizzard, fire blast, thunder, dig, double team, earthquake, and toxic.

that would be fun! but then you'd probably have a bit of trouble catching them, although I suppose releasing them and letting you deal with them in the post-game would be fairly in-character for N.

that's because I screwed up the gen2 list.

If anybody noticed in the opening there are two other kids shown. Making three kids, one being N. So heres what may happen (One has the same hair color of Anthea, so they may be Anthea and Concordia). The two 'unknown' kids get Reshiram and Zekrom, and N gets Kyurem.

Also, I want to battle the seven sages. All, not just Ghetsis.

I'm still wondering if they are going to actually make Pokemon Gray...they said there might not be a third installment...

But, who knows...it might happen.
