• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Grimoire of Dragons

The Tonberry watched Ming quietly as she spoke, then shuffled a bit closer the the Viera, stashing the knife somewhere in the large brown robe. It nodded, then reached up a want and pulled gently on Ming's ear.

"O...kay. 'm Tonny. Pretty...girl?" It said, voice rather quiet and halting. She continued to lay with Ming's ear.

---

Thalia stood when Al instructed her to, and shuffled towards him, her head lowered. Pain would spike though her ear if she jarred it too much,m and she would wince, but she didn't say anything. She stopped, however, and stared wide-eyed at Gradivus when he made his...offer... and shook her head, then kept shuffling. She stopped next to Al.

"...H...Hello."

---

Breda watched with what could be taken as mild amusement as Deus shot the Dreamhare, and stared to ready his own bow when the monsters shifted to battle positions. He snorted a bit, and scuffed at the ground with a boot.

"I guess now's a good time as ever fer some training, eh?" He laughed, loading the bow with a short, nail-like arrow.

"Umm...the name's Ming. but thanks for the complement?"

Ming let out a soft sigh as the Tonberry grabbed onto her ear, a little unwilling to have someone toying with her ear. She turns her head a bit and looks over at Maes, shrugging her shoulders.

"The battle is over Maes. Call it, swear the member in, and let us leave. We have much to do in Comoa now that our cart is gone."

She then turns back to Tonny and places a hand on her head.

"Come now."

------------------------------

Al turns to Thalia, smiling a little as she approached him. He noticed one of the other members giving him the 'way to go' sign, looking down shyly.

"um...Thalia...right...just...hold still a bit."

He gets to his feet and gently lifts her ear in his hand, finger lightly tracing the wooden spike in her ear. He then warns Thalia that this will hurt a tad, before carefully slipping the spike out of her ear. He quickly casts the same array of spells he had on Hawkeye to be rid of splinters and other undesirables that may have been present. He then lets her ear go and gives her a small smile before turning to the rest of the clan. He closes his eyes and summoned a large area cure to aid and refresh his allies.

"...Alright. All done. We should be going now."

Lodrick found himself rubbing his ears as he watched Al remove the huge chunk of wood from Thalia's ear. He was thankful to have ears on the smaller side, making them much harder to jam things through. Once he realized what he was doing, he quickly brought his hands back down to his sides again. "Yes, let's. Should be many more kinds 'a ammo t' find 'n Camoa, 'n a smaller place like Targ." The Bangaa looked in his ammo stash again, upset with himself that he didn't pick up more ether shells in the last town that actually had some in stock. "I'll have t' get more of th' ether shells, seeing as we have a lot 'a mages." He flashed a quick smile to Thalia, adding, "Maybe one'll have your name on it next time 'round."

Luroa chirped and stretched her legs a bit, the last of the greater pains relieved by Al's cure. Abelat was feeling much better, too, but was still mildly, yet visibly upset over the loss of his sword. He would most definitely browse for a new one in Camoa.

((I officially declare the development a three-sided polygon in this thread
edit: a three-sided polygon of emotion!...))

(That;s it. I'm taking Maes for a post since FMC can't post.)

Maes nods his head and lifts his sword once more. A shimmer of light envleopes the sword before shooting into the sky and shattering into tiny little fragments of light. As the lights fall, the Judge's boon fades on the Clan and leaves them mortal once more.

"Alright Ming. Let's go...but first, what do you plan to do with them?"

Maes motions to the two rocksealed people. Ming stares at them for a few moments, then rolls her eyes. She walks over and taps the rock on the side, breaking the spell on them with a little pulse of magic at the single formed crack. She then glares down at the two, crossing her arms.

"You may leave. We no longer have anything you can take. If you continue to follow us, we will erase you. If you want to come with us, then I suggest you join us. If not, then screw off and find some other mark."

Ming then turns on her heel and lifts her hand, getting the attention of the Clan.

"We're leaving now. We'll be walking."

She then notes that Abelat was mooning over the sword he dropped. She glances at the clan and notes that the new moogle, Sonja she believed, was currently holding it.

"Abelat. You're sword is with Sonja over there. If you want it, get it. If not, then we can buy a new one."

With that, she starts down the road. As she walked, she could smell her other member in the woods. She rolled her eyes and cups her hands around her mouth to make her voice louder.

"Breda! We're moving to Comoa. Join us when you are finished with whatever you are doing. But don't dilly-dally you slow slugpig!"

---------------------

"Impatient as ever. Oh well, let's go."

Roy starts after Ming, followed by a snickering Cid. He sneers at him, before pulling his hat back on his head and continues his mad dash after the long legged Veira.

"Still chasing after your Lass, pup?"

"Shut the hell up Cid"

-------------------------------

Al chuckles and looks at the remaining clan, then bows his head a bit and starts after the moment that took place. He glances back at Thalia and smiles a bit, then returns his gaze on the back of his fellowed members.

"Ming. Don't be so rude!

(...three sided Polygon?)

((OKAY so I have a lot of makeup to be doing fff- ))

Eyes widening, Sonja stood looking on in relative terror realising what Al was doing. No sleep spell? No anaesthetic? She wanted to say something, but could barely produce even a squeak - instead turning and dashing away. She pulled her ears down, muffling the sound as best she could, she could already hear the poor thing screeching.
'A coward as always' crossed her mind numerous times, intermittent to the panicked mental breakdown. To think this was one who barely hours earlier had looked to be trying to kill them. But she couldn't help it, she felt like she should be helping the injured Moogle, at least sitting by her, why couldn't she? She heard a last sputtered squeak, and it stopped. Was he crazy? Did he kill her? She didn't even want to know, not right now. Falling rather sloppily to the ground, Sonja lay down the sword beside her and huddled into her knees, rocking back and forth slightly. This was far too much.

Time passed, too fast really, everyone seemed on about the hustle and bustle as if everything were normal. This can't really be what it's like, can it?... She turns her head, their judge had sent a burst of light into the air, letting out a brilliant flare abovehead. Everything must be over then... technically, anyway. She squeezed her eyes shut and got herself up. Everyone was so eager to leave... perhaps with good reason, but nonetheless, it made them seem rushed, and....
"H-Hey, Kupo!" Sonja called out after them. She dashed up to Hawkeye and kneeled beside her - it looked like she was unconscious, but alive. With everyone suddenly leaving, and Al awkwardly tripping over himself with Thalia, what, were they just planning to leave her?
"H- Hold on kupopo-.." Sonja stutters; whether or not Hawkeye could hear was questionable. Sonja herself was the same size, roughly, as her - and far from physically fit, it would have been near impossible for her to carry another Moogle even without accounting for their gear. She looked around with a panicked air about her for anyone who might help..

((...well okay failpost but this must liiiive))
