• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Arena: Well-Traveled RPG Route
This is a nice little path surrounded by trees and a long winding river. It's quite simple sounding is it not? Perhaps the perfect place for a battle?
Nope, not at all.
You see, there are many "chosen heroes" and "RPG people" who tend to frequent this route. They're not very accustomed to seeing Pokemon, and more often than not they will mistake one of the Pokemon for a monster. Since they are in an RPG separate from this little battle, they will assume that the monsters must be dealt with.
Every round, there will be two traveling heroes that notice the battle, and each will attempt to fight each Pokemon that is currently fighting. Every round, there is a-
-25% chance they will draw their blade and deal 5% damage to the Pokemon
-20% chance that the hero will run away, not wanting to deal with this
-10% chance they will cast "Cure" on the Pokemon, healing the target for 5% health
-10% chance they will cast "Thunder" which will deal 3% damage and has a 50% chance to paralyze the target
-10% chance they will cast "Blizzard" which will deal 3% damage and has a 50% chance to reduce the target's speed 2 stages (equal to one Scary Face)
-10% chance they will cast "Fire" which will deal 3% damage and has a 25% chance to burn the target
-5% chance they will use their Limit Break, which will deal 8% damage to the target
-5% chance they will cast "Bio" which will deal 5% damage and will always inflict bad poisoning on the target
-5% chance they will cast "Mighty Guard" and accidentally redirect it at the Pokemon, raising the Pokemon's Defense and Special Defense by one stage
Please note that that is based on individual Pokemon. Therefore one Pokemon in a round might be attacked normally, while the other Pokemon will have Thunder cast on them, or one Pokemon could have Mighty Guard cast while the other has Cure cast.

Maxim sends out, then Arylett sends out and commands, and then Maxim commands. I then frantically research Final Fantasy.
