It’s common knowledge that each region has its own way of preventing theft of Pokémon kept under the PC system: Johto has each user put in a validation code so that Pokémon cannot be stolen, Kanto has a fingerprint identification system, Sinnoh uses a special seal on a Pokémon’s Pokéball to identify them, and Hoenn…well, Hoenn doesn’t seem to have any special features at all. With these restrictions in place, it would make sense that the regions would need some sort of transfer system in place. And, of course, there was.
In each region, there was a designated place in which one could transfer their beloved Pokémon from one system to another; Kanto’s One Island, Johto’s Goldenrod City, Hoenn’s Battle Frontier, and Sinnoh’s Jubilife City. When a trainer, say, went from Johto to Hoenn, the trainer simply took a ship to the Battle Frontier, filled out a simple Hoenn League Registration Form, and their Pokémon were free to use!
At least, they were most of the time. Since the beginning of the system, occasionally it will glitch up, sending most, if not all, of the meant-to-be-transferred Pokémon into an entirely different region, free of humans and their strange devices. The first Pokémon to be transported there were horribly distraught, and named the region Aijou, due to their extreme sadness in having been separated from their trainers.
Since then, many Pokémon have come and gone from Aijou, coming through the systematic glitches into the regions, and some accidentally finding their way out through strange rifts. Over time, a good deal of Pokémon have found that they like this region, and want to stay. Of course, there is a small group that wants to get back to their trainers – at any cost. Unknown to most of Aijou’s residents, the region is actually a simulation of sorts; the prototype of PC boxes. To force yourself out of the region would be to tear a huge rift through the simulation, much larger than the temporary ones that pop up here and there. The strain on the region would most likely end up destroying it.
Perhaps you are one of these Pokémon, deciding to trek across the region to get out. Are you prepared for what must be the roughest journey of your life?
Or you may be one of those who have heard what will happen if a group forces themselves out of the region. Will you do your best to keep these Pokémon from escaping?
Rules:
~The usual roleplay rules; no Godmoding, no powerplaying, etc.
~Fighting will most likely occur in this RP (um, hello, PMD), but please try not to kill anyone. (Unless they’re an NPC. In which case, kill away. >:3) If you must, ask permission from the roleplayer and me.
~In the strange event that romance occurs on this trip, please spare us the details on exactly how that random new egg was produced. Or face fury. D:
~Be creative; character names, appearances, etc. These are formerly-trainer-owned Pokémon, so strange nicknames, semi-abnormal appearances, and accessories have some justification.
~A max of…I’d say three charries for now. Can have same former trainer or different, I don’t care.
~General literacy would be loved; grammar, punctuation, etc.
~For the sake of sanity all moves that are usable by your species may be used.
~Have fun!

My bio:
Name: Apologies (but call him “Apol,” please)
Gender: Male
Level: 34
Species: Umbreon
Appearance: His fur has a bit of a bit of a purplish tinge to it, though his ring-shaped markings remain their normal yellow. A bluish Everstone hangs from a necklace around his neck, for reasons that he usually doesn’t choose to reveal.
Side: Escapees
Former Trainer: A normally perky girl by the name of Liann.
Personality: Apologies is quite shy. Though he makes an effort to speak with other Pokémon, he often stutters. Other than that, he’s a rather happy Pokémon under most circumstances.
Bio: Apologies was pretty young when he was given to his trainer. According to one of the other Pokémon in Liann’s party at the time, the teenage girl had totally screwed up and figured a friend would be mad at her the next day, and since she couldn’t get it off her mind, she named the young Eevee Apologies. As he grew up, his trainer tried to figure out what to evolve him into, before settling on an Umbreon. She gave him an Everstone to wear during the day, and took it off him at night. On the night that Apologies evolved, Liann seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that he had evolved, and put the Everstone on him the next morning. Then she noticed he evolved.
He was only put in the PC because Liann was going to breed two of her other Pokémon, but she forgot to take him out when she went to go to Sinnoh.
Other: In case you were wondering, I do have an Eevee named Apologies. Not an Umbreon yet. The story was as legit as it gets, though.
