Yes, this is my second post as a new member of this site. But due to years of role-play experience independent of this fine forum and quite a few times holding administrative power over entire forums - taking the title of "dungeon master" for this venture would be rather easy.
Overview
Due to the single thread, linear nature of this role-play - it shall be situated in one main region: Johto. But, in the style of the remake games, any Pokemon that is canon can come into play, fought, be captured, trained and so forth.
It shall begin in New Bark Town and move on from there but it doesn't have to play out in the exact track of the games and should actually have the free feel of a customized anime world.
You can be anything you want in this world either a trainer, coordinator, a researcher, etc. But, if you are starting as a new trainer, you must start with a single Basic Pokemon but it doesn't have to be an elemental starter.

Plot
As said before, this starts in New Bark Town, Johto. Former Pokemon trainer and currently an aide to Professor Elm is tasked with meeting with any prospective trainers and supply them with a starter Pokemon if needed - but, since other aides and researchers are covering the lab, he decides to follow the new trainers for a time and reminisce about his days wandering the routes, the backwater trains and the city streets reaching for his goals on a Pokemon journey.

A caring and adventurous soul with a passion for Pokemon; a passion that brought him along his journey and back into a lab with Professor Elm. He is willing to guide, teach and assist anyone he may come across while he is in the field or doing dreaded paperwork in the lab.
