Go Persephone.

I want you to hyper beam all around. If you get attracted, use attract until it works. Unrequited love won't get you anything. Have that Meowth head over heels over you. What better way to express your love than by turning on the charm, right? If you attracted your opponent, use the hyper beam to show off and impress that Meowth with your power. Sweep the hyper beam around if there are clones. If a light screen is up, giga impact instead. Also, switch to giga impact if your special attack is lowered or if Goldpaw's special defense increases. However, if 1)your special attack is lowered or Goldpaw's special defense increases and 2)clones are up, do not use giga impact. Sweep the clones away with hyper beam. If your hyper beam is spited, giga impact instead. However, if there are clones, a sweeping hyper beam still has priority. The priority goes like this: Attract>Hyper Beam>Giga Impact. If you can't understand my commands, just hyper beam. Ok? Good.

Attract/Hyper Beam/Giga Impact~Attract/Hyper Beam/Giga Impact~Attract/Hyper Beam/Giga Impact

Wow. That's a lot of Hyper Beams. Counter with Hypnosis. If it worked, hit Chansey wth a Nightmare. If not, Toxic. Last, hit her with Thunder. *searches Meowth's moveset for moves that are related to shadow, wind and rivers*

Before Persephone can make a move, she can't help but notice just how dreamy Goldpaw's eyes are. They're so wide and enchanting and pretty and she's just enraptured by their shimmering beauty. Goldpaw blinks slowly, and Persephone mimics the blink - a slow, tired blink... and she can't help but blink again, because she's suddenly dreadfully tired. A thick yawn follows and all of a sudden she's tumbling over, fast asleep. Goldpaw grins; trickery are his favourite tactic.

He slinks over in the pouring rain, sitting down next to the sleeping chansey and placing a paw on her temple. Dark energy ripples through his paw into her mind; all his nasty thoughts filter into her dreams, and what was once a pleasant world is now filled with horrors. Goldpaw takes his paw back and licks it; his job is done. Persephone whimpers, shivers, twitches in her sleep; her pleasure was short-lived. Her terror is so dreadful that it literally hurts her; in her mind, she's dying over and over, and each death is a stab at her heart, draining away her actual life.

Goldpaw pads away from the chansey, not wanting to be struck by a stray bolt, and meowls up at the sky above. Within seconds, a bolt of lightning crashes down on Persephone, the poor chansey's sleep doomed to failure. She's charred, shaken, but not awake yet; it takes a few more moments of utter hellish nightmare to do that. She gasps, falling in her dream and hitting the floor - waking up, finally, or is it another dream? It must be, because her body is charred from that thunder, she's soaked through, and she hurts like nobody's business. It feels like the nightmare she's just left. Goldpaw bares his teeth; fun.

This time, hit her with a Toxic, then Night Slash twice. If she Protects/Detects/blocks some other way on the first turn, Hone Claws. If she does it on the second/third turn, Chill.

Goldpaw hisses unpleasantly, gagging, almost choking on something. It looks as if the cat's got a hairball stuck in his throat - gross. In fact it turns out to be even grosser. Goldpaw gets on his hindpaws and spits out the supposed furball onto Persephone, and when it hits the chansey, its true contents are revealed: poison. Persephone shivers and wipes it off quickly, luckily aided by the pouring rain; not all of it managed to seep into her thick skin before it washes off. It's of little comfort to the aching chansey, though, especially since for the moment it hurts more than if it had all gotten into her bloodstream. She gags a bit, nauseous and hurting; uhg.

Luckily, this was not distraction enough to stop Persephone's attack. Her tiny fist glows bright and she rockets faster than one would expect towards the purrloin - fist smacking hard into Goldpaw's face completely unhindered, Persephone flying back from the impact through the air and Goldpaw shrieking in pain, clawing at the air. His face is completely bruised; he's still whimpering in pain, and probably a bit of fright. Who would have expected that from a chansey...?

Goldpaw rubs his face distastefully. Well, this just won't do. Time to extract some revenge, he thinks. He pounces off the ground, leaping into the air towards Persephone; his claws stretch out, leaking black energy as they slink into Persephone's sensitive skin, Goldpaw grabbing on and clawing hard. Persephone yelps, then screams louder as the purrloin kicks off with all four claws, leaving thick claw marks, and the black liquid is quite visibly oozing along with the blood; the black seems to repel the rainwater, like oil. Persephone pads at the wounds, trying to stop the bleeding, but they're quite deep and hurt when she touches them. She shivers in pain; ow...

She looks around for something to use to create a substitute, quite intent on stopping any more of those slash wounds. The only thing around is sand, muddy sand now, so she figures that'll have to do. She floats down and builds herself a chansey out of mud; a very, very sloppy one, considering the rain keeps ruining her art, but. It'll have to do. When she's satisfied, she waves a paw over the mud statue, and a piece of her life flows from her to the mud. It rises up from the beach, floating into the air beside her and, though it keeps dripping mud drops on the beach below, it's certainly solid enough to take a few hits. Good enough for Persephone, for now, at least.

And it'll have to be, because Goldpaw isn't waiting. He runs towards the chansey, black energy sifting across his paws again, and jumps into the air - but the muddy substitute floats in between him and his targeting, taking the hit. Goldpaw mrowls and digs his claws in, pulling out a chunk of mud as he jumps back to the ground and twirls to face Persephone again; he managed to hurt the substitute, but it didn't seem as strong as his last attack, that's for sure. The sub is mostly intact, and Persephone is a little shocked that it didn't seem as hurt as she did from the same attack...

No worries. She's about to heal those wounds up, plus the health she lost on the sub. She sticks a hand down and grabs her egg, always there for her, pulling it up and stuffing it into her mouth. Mmmm. She can feel her slash wounds closing; they zip right up, the blood leaking from them flowing right back into her. The health she lost on creating her substitute is magically replenished; she feels oh-so-fine. There's just one downside. She has to create another egg, lest she be caught unawares later, and that takes quite a bit of concentration and energy. She closes her eyes and focuses, and eventually one forms in her sack; when it does, though, she's panting in exhaustion, utterly wiped. Man, this battle is really taking it out of her.

There's a silver lining though. Goldpaw, circling around impatiently, is too focused on Persephone to notice the debris being tossed around by the roaring winds; and he doens't notice one flying right at him. A smallish rock flings right into his backside, smacking him hard, and he yelps and jumps around, smacking the rock away furiously. It didn't hurt that bad but it was quite insulting, honestly, to be hit by a rock. Uhg. Give a cat his dignity.

Unless I'm missing something, I should command first so...

Do another focus punch. The rain should help you if clones are up. If your opponent can't be reached (except for subs), use safeguard. If you can't for some reason, use safeguard. If you can't use safeguard and focus punch (either due to conditions or due to your opponent's actions), hyper beam. On the second action, safeguard if you didn't on the first. If your focus punch didn't connect on the first action, your sub isn't broken, and your opponent can be reached (except for subs. Kill subs.), use focus punch instead. Also focus punch if a sub was formed. Again, if you can't use focus punch or safeguard, use hyper beam. On the third action, use heal bell. If you can't, use sing. If you can't heal bell or sing, hyper beam.

Start off with a Thunder, we need to take out that substitute. Next, Dig. Come up on the third action.

Goldpaw cackled, a devilish grin spreading across his face, and he raised a very not-golden paw skyward. The clouds above boomed, striking each-other, and a sudden crash of lightning shot downwards, so bright and furious it stung one's eyes just to see it. Persephone's substitute quickly shoved the real chansey aside, taking the the thunder on itself; the lightning lit the substitute up, its insides glowing bright and furious as it sparked with electricity, until the lightning suddenly quit, leaving a desperately charred chansey doll and a mournful Persephone. She drifted over to her protector, patting it delicately; that could have been her. Goldpaw mumbled; that should have taken the sub out. And it nearly did - nearly - the substitute only barely hung on, drifting only inches above the ground, smoking and charred. One more hit would do the trick.

But it was Persephone's turn now. Revenge for her nearly-lost comrade. Her fist glowed bright orange, fighting energy stored within it, and she floated towards Goldpaw with sudden speed, her tiny hand barreling down on the meowth. Goldpaw shrieked, tossed over and backwards from the blow - he couldn't get up, simply lay there for a moment, in such shock that for seconds he didn't even feel the pain, and then it rushed over him so strong that he couldn't even breath. He gasped for air, and then it rushed into his lungs and he choked on it; it hurt so much. Persephone stared, shocked at what she'd done - perhaps regretful. That was a bit much. Goldpaw got unsteadily to his feet, shaking, standing slowly. He stared wary-eyed at Persephone, unsure now if he could actually take the chansey down - doubt. He hadn't felt that before. Doubt and fear and such overwhelming pain.

He had to hide. He extended shivering, wet claws before him and dove into the muddy ground, disappearing far below where Persephone could follow. Only the thin sounds of burrowing meowth alerted Persephone to where Goldpaw was - obviously underground, since she'd seen him dig under, but more than that was beyond her. She shivered, wet and cold, and decided upon her next course of action.

A quick wave of her hands, and a protective barrier rose into being around her, green and sparkling. It was a bit too late to shield her from the poison that was running through her veins, but anything else wouldn't get through it. And she had other ways of healing herself.

Down below, Goldpaw's shaking was slowly stopping, though he was more than hesitant to pop back up. Orders, though, and he wasn't about to question them yet. He dug his way up, certain of Persephone's location, and suddenly air and he kicked upwards, slamming into the blackened substitute, slashing it in muddy pieces. The substitute fell, withered, to the ground, beside Goldpaw who landed daintily, his shivering all but gone aside from the cold; finally, the substitute was done with. That took too long.

Persephone frowned. She'd have to deal with that later. For now, her own health had to be taken care of. She closed her eyes, singing out and - and it sounded strangely like a bell chime. Goldpaw tilted his head, and Persephone blinked her eyes, both pokemon slightly bemused by the sound; but its effects were already in play. The poison in Persephone's bloodstream was already gone, magicked away by means beyond her understanding - not that she was about to question them. She smiled, grateful of the little things, because she was now growing rather tired from the long battle. She'd quite like a little rest...

Goldpaw gets down on all fours, rain cascading down his bruised body, and swigs his tail out in front of him. The tail catches Persephone's eyes, and she stares at it as it swings back and forth, slowly, bewitchingly... The safeguard shielding Persephone sparks brightly, and the chansey snaps out of her reverie, but just to be sure, she erects another protective barrier, shielding her from any harm. Goldpaw's tail swings back and forth for a while longer, but when the meowth realizes no one's falling asleep, he pulls the tail back and gets onto his hindquarters, disappointed.

Instead he draws his paws forward, summoning forth bright sparks of electricity between them. The sparks grow into a shimmering ball, way too hard to contain for long - the ball zips out of his paws, towards Persephone, who's no longer hiding behind a protective shield. The chansey stares as the ball lightning flickers her way, zig-zapping right and left, and seconds before it would hit her it strays right and crashes into the ground, releasing all its pent-up energy. Persephone turns her glare towards Goldpaw; her turn.

She pulls up her tiny fists and, like Goldpaw had done, forms a tiny ball of energy - but hers is orange-coloured, pure and strong, and it grows stronger and brighter as she holds it close. Similar to Godlpaw, she can't hold it for long, and it bursts out towards the meowth in a beam, slamming into him like a physical force; he skids backwards in the mud, the beam searing across his wet fur, and he has no time to even whimper, instead clinging to the ground below him. Only when the beam fades does he show his pain, yowling a bit; his burns, scrapes and bruises are outnumbering the healthy skin covering his body. He manages to stand only from pure desire to see Persephone pay.

For now, though, his commands order otherwise, much as he'd wish they didn't. He curls up into a ball, hoping to protect himself from whatever might come, and pretends to himself that he's in a warm home in front of a fire, falling asleep. Not here.

Unfortunately, this is Persephone's perfect opportunity.

The chansey floats forward, fist glowing golden, and slams the meowth hard. Goldpaw yeowls in pain as Persephone's fist comes down on him; it's a pain like no other. He lays there, shivering, trying to relax despite feeling on the brink of unconsciousness while Persephone shivers with him - she's exhausted too. If she doesn't take a break soon, she surely can't last much longer.

a bluh bluh bluh. I forgot about my safeguard.

How much energy does hyper beam, focus punch, dream eater, and double-edge require? Also on that note, will a double-edge by Persephone cause exactly 15% damage to Goldpaw?
