Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Torn Village [Now Started]

Moon woke up in the same room he had for the whole time he was in the Torn World. He gently stepped outside, and stroled all the way to the Torn Center. He had never taken the time before to look around the Torn World, so he did so this morning. Well, at least the way to the Torn Center. It was still a large change for him.

Yi awoke from the dream of her past, except this time it began with having been just given the mission to return back in time. The Espeon yawned, her eyes still heavy with sleep. Finally, she got up and began to make her way towards Torn Center. Hoping to find her teammates there.

Dreamer came out of the light sleep she had been in.
Leaves. I need leaves, her instinct said.
Leaves... the concious part of her mind spat. She crawled over to the leaves with revulsion flooding through her body. But instinct overwhelmed her, and she forced several piles of green mush down her throat. She washed it down with some clear, running water from a nearby stream.
Atleast one thing is constant; we all need water.
She suddenly felt small. Everything was so unnaturally large these days. She was used to being able to smash rocks and rip the bark off trees; now all she could do was crawl, eat, sleep, and poop.
A closed space should make me feel better, she thought, heading for the Town Center. And besides, today we start our search for Giratina.

Karma awoke from her slumber, shooke herself off, and headed for the Torn Center. She felt no hunger, nor thirst right now.

Vine swung through the forest to the Torn Center again, landing directly next to Raven and almost flying into her. He smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, didn't see you there," he said.

The sound of a silent creature slipping into a crystal pool.

The flutter of wings, brushing against the leafy foilage.

The lonesome cry of a banished creature, so far away from home..

Tempest awoke. He'd never had that dream before. But then, maybe it was just another part of the life he had before the Torn Village; just a part he'd forgotten. ..But why had he remembered it now? Nevermind that, he had to get to the Torn Centre! It would definitely be an embarrassment to arrive latest, when the life of their Giratina was at stake! He only shuffled out of the building, though, as his sense hadn't fully awakened.

"No problem," Raven chirped, then let out a few more chirps to sound a bit like a song; even though only males sang, she could try to imitate them.

Achamo jogged towards Torn Center. He was excited to see what the new day would bring. There was Grovyle at the podium with Celebi and her laptop, and plus many explorers Achamo may or may not have seen during the last meeting.

"I'm glad you more of you have come this time," said Grovyle. "Of course, not quite everyone is here, but that's fine. At least one member from each team seems to be here, so you can spread the word. Alright, the speech..."

"After the meeting, you will be given a chance to pack up and head to the Torn Valley. Torn Valley is one of the strangest areas of the Torn World. Platforms act as elevators and escalators. Most of the area looks the same, so it would be wise to use the odd plants sprouting everywhere to determine your location. There are also many waterfalls like Vertigo Waterfall there. You will want head to the lowermost part of Torn Valley. At its very bottom, there's a portal. It leads to Giratina's Lair."

Jeez, is that the only place that isn't called Torn Something? Achamo thought sarcastically.

"It isn't likely he's there, but we need to investigate the area to determine what might have happened to him. Now that I've described the area, how you will arrive there." Grovyle called out seemingly to no one, "Aijul! The explorers are here!!"

The ground rumbled for a few seconds with force, and a foreign but familiar cry was heard, quite legendary sounding. The cry of Lugia?!

The Shiny Lugia gracefully landed, the force from his wings impacting the ground slightly, and his feet landing with a thud.

"Grovyle! I'm here to take the explorers!" said Aijul.

"Not yet," said Grovyle. "They're still getting ready. Besides, I don't believe you've had a proper introduction." Grovyle turned to the crowd. "This is Aijul, a Shiny Lugia. He will be your escort. He isn't a normal Lugia, however, as he is Fire/Psychic type. Well, you're all dismissed for now, but you need to get your things and go soon." finished Grovyle.

"Alright, I'll wait here in Torn Center." said Aijul.

Moon ran back to where he sleeped and gathered the essentials he would need on the mission. He then dashed back and stated that he was ready to go.

Dusk nodded and swished his tail, the stripes on his cheeks and the one on his forehead gleaming with inpredictibility. He glanced at Aijul and nodded quickly. Then, he looked over his shoulder and to the left and right, alert.

Dreamer's eyes flashed as she observed the silver-and-pink bird in front of her.
Another legendary, and a Lugia at that... It really only matters to humans whether or not you're shiny, but that is quite pleasing.
If I can manage to convince him to help me, then Dialga will never stand a chance.
But not yet. We need to give him the idea we're the good guys. It shouldn't be hard, after Dialga banished Giratina.
Maybe I could even get him to give me some of his power!

Joyful, rebellious plots swirled through her head.
It couldn't get much easier, she decided.

Karma noticed Dusk as she made it to the Torn Center.

"Dusk!" She exclaimed, rushing towards the Vaporeon. As she realized the Shiny Lugia, she blinked. Another legendary. She had seen a few before, but the awe of seeing such a powerful Pokemon never left her.

The Raticate bowed her head in respect to the Shiny Lugia. Karma, now beside Dusk, looked over to him and smiled in greetings.

Wow, thought Achamo. That's one big Pokemon!

"Thank you, Aijul." Achamo mimicked Karma and bowed respectfully. He casually walked off to pick up the Explorer's Kit at home, which he received in the mail when he signed up.

Mark hopped down from the tree and into a river as the water rushed over him, he berated himself for being late. I shouldn't have dozed off... He jumped out of the water in a shallow point and scuttled the rest of the way to the Torn Center. He bumped into a feathery soft leg and looked up through his eyes on his back. He backed up in awe at the creature in front of him. It was a Lugia, a Pokemon rumored powerful enough that it hides under the sea. But not only that, it was shiny! He spluttered out a hasty apology and walked up to the Swellow that was the leader of Team Sky Blue. He propped himself up on his hind claws and did a sort of salute. "What did I miss? I'm afraid I dozed off..." he said to the Tangela and Swellow mareepishly.

Dusk turned and padded back toward the base, looking back at Karma.

"Team Scarlet, come," he said, as if there were more members of his team in the Center.

"Yes, sir." Karma could barely hear him, but she knew how to read someone's lips now, and she scampered behind him, following dutifully.

Tempest barely had any time to marvel at the beautiful lugia before he noticed Dusk and Karma heading back to their base. Taking one last glance at Aijul, he raced after the two, hoping he wasn't causing them too much trouble.

((Blastoise, Raven is a Staravia and Vine a Tangrowth))

"Hey, Mark," Vine smiled at the Kabuto, "We've only just got here too, so you haven't really missed anything."

He glanced at the Shiny Lugia. It was red where it should have been blue, and the red parts seemed to be... glittering slightly. Maybe that's where the name 'shiny' came from.
