• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Would you rather watch Barney or Sesame Street?

Blue's Clues (before Joe, of course) could kick either one's ass. D:

But Sesame Street is way better than Barney.

barney almost taught me how to become a furry. :C (purple dinosaur suits?...)

sesame street was really scary for me as a kid, but the way i see it now, i like how it's quite abstract and stuff. so i'd say sesame street.

Ewwwww Joe! I hated Joe too. After Steve left, there came a bunch of rumors of his leaving - one rumor was that he died of drugs, was smoking onscreen, etc.

About a year ago, my sister and I luckily managed to catch a special on Nick about Steve leaving. Apparently he left because he was losing his hair, which kids wouldn't like. o.o

I read that he had tired of being Steve a little, and he wanted to become a musician. Here:

After seven years and over 100 shows, Burns departed Blue's Clues in 2002. His role in the show "was beginning to chafe" after five years and he left to pursue a music career. Johnson said that "what made Burns a great children's host was that 'he didn't want to be a children's host ... He loved kids, but he didn't want to make a career out of it.'" Burns himself stated, tongue-in-cheek, "I knew I wasn't gonna be doing children's television all my life, mostly because I refused to lose my hair on a kid's TV show, and it was happenin'--fast." The day after he finished filming his final episode of the show, he shaved his head, something he wanted to do for many years, but the show's producers would not let him.
