I apologize for the video, but in PBR, Geodude floats. and at 0:23 of This Japanese preview (all I could find) Geodude comes out of a ball and floats

Don't most legless things float in the console games? I recall most non-magikarp fish doing so, and in that video, forretress was floating without magnet rise. Console game animations aren't exactly the best evidence.

I recall hearing a thump when Geodude comes out of its Poké Ball and falls down in Pokémon White.

Agreed with LotF, I just battled that guy with the Geodude and there was an audible thump. Plus the animation shows it bouncing around.

it should be on the pokémon management screen if the evolution link actually exists. it's possible that it hasn't been toggled.

Make sure the pokémon you want to evolve is in your active squad, then click "manage your Pokémon". You should notice an "evolve this" link.

Without its trigger activated, yes; if the trigger is activated (i.e. being paralyzed and holding a Cheri berry), no.

I don't know about commanding to eat it, but berries are automatically used when the criteria is met (eg Pecha berry when Poisoned)

(Also, Bulbapedia and Veekun say that this attack does not need to be performed consecutively to get the power boost)

Do those include non-damaging attacks?

Triple battle, all Pokemon on one side survive, all of the other side's don't. Each losing Pokemon gets 1 EXP, the winners get...how much? My head says 4 each but that can't be right can it :S
