As Jewel flails pitifully on the ground, struggling desperately against her illnesses, Swimmy swims to the surface with a malicious grin, eager to make the writhing little mouse really suffer. However, Blaziking seems to have other ideas- Toxic? Again? Swimmy shoots her trainer a questioning frown. Are you sure we want to do that again? she seems to say. It seemed to do the trick last time, there's no point overdoing it. You sure you don't want to think about it, come back to it later, and I'll still do it if you really want? But her trainer is adamant, and with a sigh Swimmy retches up another batch of fish venom and spits it out of the water onto Jewel. The gunk splats onto the Pichu's body and sinks in, but fails to have any effect, the venom from before already having soaked right into Jewel's system, Swimmy backs off, grumpy about his wasted move, while the immobile Jewel decides to prepare for a devastating attack whenever her paralysis lets up by building up a huge stockpile of static energy in her body.

Swimmy decides to go on the offensive for real this time, and hurls her body out of the water and brings herself down against the surface with a mighty slap. The water begins to churn, forming improbably large ripples which grow ever larger, pulling Swimmy to the crest of what is fast becoming a medium-sized wave. The wall of water rushes forward with a colossal roar and begins to collapse as it reaches the shoreline, crushing Jewel under the force of hundreds of gallons of water. As the remnants of the wave slide off the shore and back into the lake, Jewel clumsily tries to pull herself to her feet, disoriented by the force of the wave, but falls back as her muscles lock up stubbornly once more.

The round seems to be looking up for Swimmy now, in spite of a totally wasted command. Keen to keep her roll going, she slaps the water again, and the surface begins to froth and bubble in response as vast ripple pushes itself upwards beneath her once again. Jewel hears the roar and flails desperately, finally managing to break free of her paralysis and begin running, but escape was never an option. A tremendous WHOOOSH booms in her ears before all sound is consumed in an indiscernible bubbling roar. The water pummels the poor Pichu relentlessly before it drains suddenly back into the lake. Jewel coughs and splutters; water has filled every available cavity, and all sound is still overridden by an awful roaring in her ears. She smacks her head a few times on each side, spurting water out of her ears, and turns to Swimmy with a snarl. Time to get her own back. Closing her tiny fists, she closes her eyes and tenses every muscle as she brings up all the electricity she stored away earlier, forming a buzzing, crackling field of energy all around her. After a short time, the charge becomes too intense to contain and Jewel fires it off in a tremendous arc of energy with a loud chuuuuuuuuuuu!. The bolt streaks through the water and strikes Swimmy with a tremendous BOOM!, lighting up the entire lake and throwing the Remoraid several feet clear of the water and back in again a short while away with a splunk. Jewel gives a victorious cheer, cut off with a ragged, diseased cough, and Swimmy floats to the surface dazed, trying to remember where she is.

Though visibly suffering from her illnesses, she seems confident; contemptuous, even. Swimmy scowls; she refuses to have such a feeble Pokémon make a mockery of her. Wriggling madly to snap the remaining stiffness from her muscles, she peeks above the surface and glides silently through the water toward her opponent. Opening her mouth, she releases a subsonic screech while ejecting a gush of water that spreads out in a vast ring, as though carried by the stretching sound waves of her shriek. The ear-splitting screech hits Jewel's ears, and she cries out in pain and collapses to the ground only to be battered by the violently-churning pulse of liquid following behind it. She is knocked head over heels by the wave, and recovering from the impact, sits up and tries to gather her senses. The loud scream Swimmy unleashed left a distracting buzzing sound in her ears, and no amount of head-shaking or ear-clearing will shift it. Shrugging, the disoriented Pichu clambers to her feet to attack anyway. As she builds up an electric charge in her cheeks, she begins to drift off to the sound of the monotone buzzing in her head, and before she knows it she's jolted back to reality by a violent sparking across her face. The electricity she was charging has built up to unstable levels, discharging aggressively in all directions. The startled mouse gives a squeak of terror and overbalances, smacking her head against the floor with a yelp of pain. Swimmy peeks above the surface and snorts in amusement before diving under again, and Jewel blushes furiously as she hops back to her feet.

The still-dishevelled Pichu totters to the water to look for her opponent; she didn't manage to Charge, but she can still give the bastard another good Thunderbolt. She scans the water, ignoring the stiffness of her joints and the persistant ringing in her skull. She spots Swimmy, but far too late; the fish leaps from the water, flopping high into the air, and a sheet of water glides up with her. As the Remoraid loses momentum and falls back toward the lake, the wave scoops her up and carries her across the lake towards the shore. Jewel looks up in horror at the wall of water closing in on her as it breaks on the shoreline and collapses, dropping gallons and gallons of water onto the Pichu's head. The massive pool of water glides off the island and back into the lake as Jewel struggles to her feet. Shaking the water off her soaked fur, she scowls at Swimmy and begins to ready another electric charge. Despite her determination to electrocute the living daylights out of the fish for beating her up so ruthlessly, she again spaces out to the monotonous humming in her head. Suddenly the pitch of the noise escalates into a mind-numbing shriek, and Jewel squeals in agony and grabs her head in her tiny paws. Her cheeks explode again in a shower of sparks and the little mouse collapses with a squeak of pain. As she once more heaves herself to her feet, getting pretty tired of being horizontal, she spots Swimmy flopping back to the lake; she struggles after her, but to no avail. The fish escapes smugly back into her watery stronghold.

Jewel growls in complete frustration. The buzzing in her head, though far quieter already, refuses to go away, and has prevented her from getting even a single hit on Swimmy this round while she's been beating the poor mouse silly. And from the looks of it, another attack is just about to come. Swimmy leaps from the water again, bringing her body down tail-first and slapping the water hard. The tiny ripple grows unnaturally fast into a massive tidal wave like the last one, looming over the minuscule island as it races across the lake's surface towards it. Jewel looks up at the titanic wall of water in terror, every fiber of her being screaming at her to try to run but fear pinning her firmly to the spot. In a matter of seconds the wave reaches land and slaps brutally down on Jewel with a colossal roar, leaving the Pichu lying dazed in a vast pool of water. The remnants of the Surf retreat back into the lake, and Jewel slowly regains her senses. She is gripped by a tremendous rage, determined to get up and beat the bullying fish into submission. But the buzzing noise lingers in her head, so she decides to avoid tempting fate and settles down sulkily for a nap to contemplate her revenge. As Jewel rests, her sore muscles heal entirely, though the sickening toxins remain in her system, as she is painfully reminded as a shiver of agony runs through her.

bwah I didn't see that this was updated. Well, Surf seems to be rather effective so let's stick with that? And hope to win? We got pretty damn lucky this round. :D If she tries to use an electric type move on your first or third turn, use Protect.

Swimmy pokes her nose out of the water, sneakily eyeing her opponent for some indication of what the Pichu is going to do. Jewel sits grumpily near the shore of the lake, clutching her head; clearly the ringing noises are still bothering her. Shaking them off, she stands up and begins building up an electrical charge, sparks dancing off her body in a buzzing curtain of electric power. Seeing this, Swimmy immediately raises a protective blue energy shield and braces for the impact. However, no attack hits her; Jewel is simply sitting smugly at the shore again, her fur fluffed up more than usual. Swimmy splashes away sulkily, extremely annoyed at having been tricked.

Thoughts of revenge cloud the enraged fishie's mind, and she once more begins churning up the water into a vast tidal wave. Swimming to the crest of the wave, Swimmy rides it across the lake until it comes crashing down over the island for, like, the millionth time this match. Jewel gives another gurgling squeak of terror as the tons of water crash down on her, soaking her right through, but soon finds her bearings and charges up some more electricity, but far more than the last time; her cheeks shine yellow as she summons all the electricity she stored and amplifies it, bathing the entire island in a bright yellow glow. Unable to store any more charge, Jewel turns to the terrified Swimmy and releases it in an arc, zapping the fish with a tremendous BOOOM and knocking her away into the water. The singed Remoraid lands several yards away with a plop and remains still for a while, before swimming away stiffly. Apparently the electricity has played havoc with her muscles all over again.

Jewl immediately takes advantage of her opponent'a incapacitated movement and hurries to get the first attack in. Her cheeks glow again, each a different colour; one red, one green. A beam of light of the respective colours burst forth from each cheek, wrapping around each other in a complete disregard for the laws of physics and blasting into the water. A flash of red and green light from the depths indicates a direct hit, and for several minutes no motion can be detected under the surface; clearly Swimmy's fried muscles are acting up already.

Swimmy drifts into the shallows, stiffly propelling herself in their general direction with her uncooperative muscles. She reflects over her rather modest lead over the past few rounds, wondering how she ended up in this state, barely able to move and about as healthy as her opponent. She decides taking attacks would not be at all conducive to her astounding comeback, and starts summoning an energy sheld to prevent any incoming attacks- only for her muscles to seize up rebelliously before she can do so. She looks on in horror as Jewel strides up to the shore with a huge smirk on her face and begins to charge up electricity. Swimmy tries to close her eyes, but her face muscles refuse to let her, forcing her to watch as a jolt of electricity arcs through the air from Jewel's cheeks and slams into Swimmy's side, sending a rush of agony through her entire body. The shock passes as quickly as it began, leaving Swimmy floating on the surface of the lake, barely conscious.

She doesn't even bother to try attacking again as Jewel charges up another bolt of electricity, a delighted yet sadisric grin plastered across her face. She charges the voltage in her cheeks until they can contain no more, and then discharges the huge build-up of charge at her opponent. Swimmy's muscles loosen just in time for her to brace herself against the jolt of electricity that blasts into her side, knocking her several yards skyward before she plops back into the water, singed and motionless. Blaziking recalls his lifeless fishy while Jewel scurries over to her trainer to be congratulated, and after she too is brought back into her Pokéball, both trainers joyously prepare to finally get the hell off this island.

And that's that. Full Metal Cookies/long name I'm not typing is the winner and gets $24. Blaziking gets $9 for losing. I'll have $7 of the reffing money and if Arylett ever takes up ASBing again she can have the remaining $8. Roger, Sling and Swimmy get 1Exp, Carnage and Jewel get 2Exp for knocking out Roger and Swimmy respectively, and Ganemede gets 3Exp for knocking out Carnage and Sling. In addition, Jewel gets 2 happy points and Ganemede gets three happy points.
