It’s about 10 years since Ash Ketchum began his journey. No one really knows what happened to him, but that’s of little consequence.

You are one of several adventurers, about to set out on a journey through the Sinnoh region, a team designed by you, having chosen favourite pokemon, and readied by Nanka Kurohari. Your team is, of course, in its youthful state, unevolved and prepared to begin their journey, just like you. There have been stirrings about the re-surfacing of Team Galactic, now under the joint control of Mars and Jupiter, but these hardly more than rumors, and there’s no knowing what will happen in your travels.

Appearance:
Atem is an ivory skinned girl with striking blue-grey eyes and has dark purple hair that is held up in two tight buns by elegant black ribbons. She wears a frilly white dress with large, puffy sleeves. She has mid-thigh high boots that match and fingerless evening gloves that stop a bit past her elbows. All of her outfit is lined in black.
Her build is slender and curvy, and has somewhat high cheek bones. Atem usually has on dark violet fingernail polish and black lipstick. There is a large black cross necklace around her neck with elegant swirlies and a large, rounded crimson jewel in the middle. She sports three silver studded earrings on her right ear and four on her left.
Atem has a chocolate-colored sash around her waist, which keeps her Pokeballs, items, a lime green cellphone and other assorted goods.

Personality:
Atem is a rather arrogant girl whom knows no boundaries. She tends to blow off the rules and do it her own way, and doesn't take orders from others very well. Atem despises her superiors with a passion and will go to extreme measures to dance around their orders, no matter the consequence. She has trouble keeping her say on the matter inside, which results in her usually remarking her opinion in a scornful way.
However, despite the ignorant brute on the outside, Atem is a hurting child on the inside. After the death of her brother, Atem has lost the ability to trust others and has left her bitter. She has strong mental barriers around herself and rarely speaks of her background.

Biography:
Atem was born to a very wealthy family whom owned a striving business in Black City. As a happy child, she grew a strong bond with her older brother and relied on him at all times. So whenever Atem's mother left without warning one day and her father committed suicide the next for believing it was all his fault, she, although shaken greatly by her parents' dismissal, still remained loyal to her sibling and forced herself to move on.
For three full years the two lived in their house, dependent on the money left by their parents. Atem was home-schooled by her twenty year old brother and struggled a bit in her studies. Though through many lessons, the girl finally got the hang of it all. But little did they know that Areotté, Atem's brother, was dying. Fast.
Barely even a month before meeting Nanka Kurohari, however, Atem finally lost her older brother to lung cancer. She was left alone and emotionally scarred by his tragic death, and became bitterly sour. Upon his abrupt death she took to the ways of the Goth and lived by herself in her large mansion. Too prideful to be sent away to a foster home or a adoptive family, she buried Aerotté in secret in their own backyard and lied that he was away on a business trip.
However, her scheme was eventually unraveled a few weeks later. Scared by the new threat, Atem had no earthly idea what to do.
When Nanka Kurohari came along, Atem viewed this as the perfect way to escape from her horrid reality and start afresh. Though the thought sickened her greatly, she refused countless times to join Nanka's group before eventually agreeing, and stated snobbishly that she didn't want to travel with "a bunch of hooligans who don't have a bloody clue what they're doing."

@Ulqi: Everything but the trainer type is good. I understand tht what your saying is that your character is best attributed to the class. But what is her goal? To become a world-renown trainer? A famous breeder? A popular co-ordinator? Or is she more along the lines of a hobbyist, doing it because she can, but no extreme goals in mind beyond just travelling the region becuse she feels like it?

Appearance: Alex is built much like his father, lanky but decently muscular, unlike his father, he is actually more agile, suiting himself to his Pokémon’s’ typical battle strategies. Alex wears a tattered mauve belt around his forehead, and possesses an electric blue sapphire ear stud in his right ear. His white hair is loose and sits messily atop his head and along the back of his neck. He wears a loose fitting white shirt, with leather bracers on his wrists and forearms to help prevent injury when training. He wears baggy beige pants and durable black sandals. His bag is several pouches strapped to his legs, waist and a small sack with a couple pouches.

Personality: Alex is hyper active and needs to keep on the move, a problem that often plagued him in trainer’s school, where he could hardly pay attention, and would rather run and play with Pokémon. Alex is friendly, and a happy-go-lucky kind of person. It’s hard to tell if he can ever get angry due to his pleasant and positive demeanor, but due to several unconfirmed accounts, it’s safe to say that if his friends were to be hurt, or if he were forced to calm down at any time other than bed time, he would likely crack, and have a nasty temper, if not short lived.

Biography: Alex was born and raised in Holly Town, Sinnoh, by his mother and father. His father, Nanka Kurohari, is a highly prestigious trainer, breeder, and battler. Due to these attributes, as well as Alex’s mother’s abilities, and the fact that he was raised on the ranch, allowed Alex to bond with his Pokémon quite well, as well as understand other Pokémon more innately. Alex was sent to attend the trainer’s school in Jubilife City, where he soon learned that his personality made it hard for him to concentrate on class subjects. Regardless of this, he managed to pass his class with impressive marks, and began his journey through Sinnoh, following the same steps his father took years ago, as well as his sister only three years ago. Alex is a massive exception in Kurohari tradition, where he was not only the first male not to receive a Pichu as a partner at age 6, but also the first male not to be first born, making him a special case in the family’s mechanics. Alex’s first Pokémon was a Sneasel, whom he promptly became close freinds with, due to their similar personalities. Over the course of the years his father would bestow upon him other young Pokémon who would become part of his team, and closest freinds. Alex watched, at age eight, as his older sister began her journey, and vowed that he would do just as well as his father, but at his own casual pace.

-Moveset: Bite, Ice Punch, Screech, Fake Out (Set possesses both Fake Out and Ice Punch due to a move tutor who had visted during Alex's youth)
-Personality: Set’s personality is very much like Alex’s, being very hyper-active and upbeat. Set enjoys employing the strategies of his parents, Zhassa’s parents, as well as his own design. Set is also quite carefree and fun-loving, and has no problems about lazing about. Set's preferred music genre is Dubstep, and many of his attack patterns end up based off if the bass patterns of these sings.
-Accessories: A ragged maroon scarf tied loosely around his neck, several scars at the base of his neck, bandages around his left ankle.

-Moveset: Quick Attack, Return, Night Slash, Swords Dance
-Personality: Zhassa, unlike her cousin, Set, is calm, reserved, and fairly dismissive, finding little to no interest in fooling around, especially if the opportunity to train is present. This makes her seem like the “dull” or “boring” member of the team. Despite all this, it is assumed that she may actually be quite compassionate, but no other Pokémon has won these possible affections yet.
-Accessories: Tape wrapped around her fists and feet, and a black bandanna with a red paisley pattern.

-Moveset: X-Scissor, Night Slash, Swords Dance, Endure
-Personality: Arcade is the prime definition of ADHD, being unable to stop period, often skittering around in a somewhat pointless manner. It is assumed that he would be even worse once he evolves.. Arcade is Set’s closest (Pokémon) friend, and the two often play jokes on the rest of the team. Arcade can also take a serious outlook on things, something Set can’t do for some reason, and often finds the quickest solution to tend to these things.
-Accessories: Aviator goggles, often sitting on his forehead, he claims he'll need them.

-Species: Ralts
-Age: 1
-Gender: M
-Moveset: Shadow Sneak, Disable, Mean Look, Confusion
-Personality: Gallahad, despite being the second youngest, is best described as the most mature member of the team, as well as polite and distinguished. Gallahad takes each battle in step, fighting valiantly, but not above using the Shadow Sneak he was blessed with from birth. Gallahad is polite and forthcoming, and will not
-Accessories: Gallahad wears a blue tunic with purpled sleeves, accompanied by a brown belt and dull blueish purple trousers.

-Name: Ezaia
-Species: Riolu
-Age: 2 Months
-Gender: F
-Moveset: Nasty Plot, Vacuum Wave, Counter, Force Palm
-Personality: Ezaia, like her father, is distant from the rest of the team, viewing everything from a third party perspective. She is also the youngest of the team and thus feels uncomfortable among her comrades; however she has a firm friendship with Jade, and feels that she can make herself become a major powerhouse. She also, like her father, has little tolerance for immature antics, and despite this, realizes that she is to be forced to put up with it regardless. Ezaia nearly inherited her father’s blindness, but instead was born with shortsighted vision, unable to see clearly beyond four feet of her face, because of this she is forced to wear glasses to compensate.
-Accessories: Wise Glasses on a Skarmory steel chain. A small Pecha flower pin slightly below her right ear.

-Personality: As much as Gallahad is the most mature member, in a social form, of the team Jade is the motherly figure, ensuring that conflict is resolved and everyone has a fair say. She looks out for everyone, and has taken Ezaia under her metaphorical wing, raising her in a way that her mother had her. Ezaia is calm, thoughtful, optimistic, and kind, but has a fierce temper and an undying loyalty to her comrades, and will fight to exhaustion to protect them.
-Accessories: Her fur has grown out at the back, and is tied into a ponytail. She also has a silver necklace on which a small pendant made from a dawn stone fragment sits.

Well, I guess to basically prove to others and herself that she doesn't need to rely on others to get what she wants. That she doesn't need her brother's help.
Other than that, I guess just to be able to pwn anybody that crosses her path, thus building up her confidence more and more.

Appearance:
Kiara's skin is a pale white. Her long, blonde hair reaches to the bottom of her shirt. Parts of her hair are streaked down on her shoulders. Her eyes are as deep a blue as the ocean that surrounds the island of Cianwood. Her bangs sometimes cover her eyes, but not all the time. Her T-shirt is a cyan blue with a picture of a Charmander and a transluecent Charizard behin it. The shirt has the word "Soon" on it. She hate wearing shorts, so she wears blue jeans all the time, even though it's not a good idea. She hate's wearing sandals, so she wears either bots or tennis shoes.

Personality:
Kiara is very loyal to her friends. She's always there for them. She's very brave and fierce, but might be a little too fierce. She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her, so she is over confident. But when one of her closest friends insult her she'll become silent. Just silent.

Biography:
Kiara was raised in a restraunt near the gym. Her family had been very poor until they had become rich after seven years of owning the restraunt, Kiara being 7 at the time. Kiara had never been truly happy at the restraunt after they became rich. So her parents, Tom Smith and Mary Smith, gave her plenty of luxuries just to make her happy. It didn't. Not even the queen size bed they bought her. She hated the bed, so she started to sleep outside, looking at the stars, listening to the ocean waves.

One night, when she was 8, she saw a sillhoutte of a dog with a long, flowy...mane? Dogs don't have manes. The dog thing looked at Kiara with intent, and it ran off. Kiara knew what her purpose was in life now. She had to go on a journey and find that dog. Alas, she had to stay at the restraunt for another three years. When Nanka Kurohari came, Kiara said yes in a heartbeat.

-Personality: Lucy is shy around others, but she's always upbeat when Kiara's around. Lucy loves to bring Kiara around in the water.

-Personality: Cassie loves to run around, and she is very strategic in battle. She'll still run around the battefield, but still. (She's like a Pinkie Pie that thinks her way through battles)
-Accessories: She is the size of a Rapidash, much larger than most Ponyta.

-Personality: Timmy has multiple personalities. Sometimes, he'll feel so sad he only has one move. Other times, he'll be bouncing around, Pinkie Pie style. Other times, he'll be very serious.

Home Town and Region: The Sinnoh region in general, he and his father traveled frequently.

Appearance:Fletcher is tall, with a handsome face. His eyes are bright and blue, his hair brown with blond highlights. This hair is likely to be what is noticed most about Fletcher, as he spends hours of every day grooming it immaculately, so that is sticks up in spikes exactly how he likes it. He will rarely be caught in clothes that aren't exceedingly fashionable and cool, though there is a special place in his heart for expensive jeans and designer cardigans. His teeth are white, as he spends hours brushing them, and are on the way to being perfect, as his braces constantly struggle to give him that perfect Hollywood smile. An expensive ring, his mother's, is houses on his right index finger. His expression is usually pretentious.

Personality: For the majority of Fletcher's life, life has been all about Fletcher. His lifestyle meant he could have anything he wanted, any time he wanted, and if he had to lie and cheat and steal to get it, all the better. He is undoubtedly one of the most selfish souls people are likely to meet, and he is so deeply in love with himself people are seriously considering renaming Narcissism Fletcherism. Though he is sharply intelligent, he is undoubtedly lazy, and much prefers to manipulate others into doing things than doing things himself. Despite all the things he does, he is not a bad person, his perception of right and wrong are just a little bit skewed. He is an incredibly lonely boy, as his father never allowed him any friends-and though his father expects him to totally betray Nanka Kurohari and steal all his riches, he secretly just wants a chance to be with kids his own age.

Biography: Fletcher' mother died when he was four or five, and so he has some memories of her, a face, a laugh. His father is a world renowned con-man, world renowned in the fact that nobody has ever heard of him, despite the fact that there isn't a man in Sinnoh he hasn't stolen money from. His methods of theft are not the arbitrary ones of snatching purses or picking pockets-his victims think they are making totally sound investments, and in his best cases, they still do.

As the life of a conman is best spent in a variety of locales, so as his face is not recognised, Fletcher and his father have been moving from city to city city for his entire life. Fletcher was homeschooled by his father, and his education has in no way lacked for this. Everything Fletcher and his father ver wanted, they could afford, and they lived in luxury. Though for Fletcher, the simple luxuries of friendship and companionship were never on offer. Friends were never something Fletcher was allowed, as "they're for suckers" and his father's own strong dislike for Pokémon meant that he was never allowed have any.

When Nanka Kurohari came along, his father volunteered him for the program, telling his son to "steal everything". His son will do this, admittedly, but would like to spend as long as he can at this adventure first, and is very excited about having Pokémon.

Home Town and Region: Olivine City, Johto

Appearance: Dink has such a mass of hair, that one can scarcely see his face. At times, one might sneak a peak of his deep blue, almost violet, eyes, but for the most part, his hair droops down over his eyes. He is small for his age, and is often mistaken for being closer to seven or eight. Dirt has a nasty habit of finding its way onto his cheek, though he never seems to mind. He wears a dark mahogany jacket, and a red shirt with a little logo in the middle, as well as a simple pair of jeans. Most of the clothes, except the shoes, are far too big on him, and they all droop low, though he wears a belt to keep his pants up. He also has a flat bill cap that he lazily sets on his head. It isn’t ever tilted because it’s what he wants to look like; it’s tilted because he doesn’t care. Essentially, he looks like a little mini-gangsta-wannabe, not because it’s his style, but because he doesn’t care about clothing.

Personality: Dink is a complex person. There has been dispute over whether or not he is completely mad. His giddy laughter seems to rise up at the most inappropriate of times, and he has a tendency of singing in a hushed and frantic tone at seemingly random moments. He can be a fairly pleasant person, the problem is that he usually reserves that politeness for first impressions, and afterwards, seems to have no recollection of ever acting such a way. In his mind, there is a reason for everything, and if one were to look inside his brain, they’d find he’s actually remarkably intelligent and reasonable, and simply applies it in… eccentric ways. This far into his life, he’s proven harmless, though his parents are hoping he’ll get better by going on this journey. He has no respect for people who have poor work ethics, and on several occasions has scared such people from his neighborhood with his constant mumbling.

Biography: The life led by Dink was not ideal, but it wasn’t a sob story either. His parents always drilled work ethic into his mind, and as part of that drilling, he ended up doing a massive amount of chores. Once in a while, he found himself alone while doing his chores. He spent this time trying to entertain himself, which is when he started holding mock conversations with himself. It eventually degenerated into inaudible mumbles, cryptic chants, and long nights giggling to himself while he glared at the empty wall.

School was the place where Dink ruled above all. Nobody acted afraid of him, partially because of his size, but as his eyes flicked from place to place, he observed people stepping just a bit away from him. They wouldn’t admit it, but they were utterly terrified of the “nutsy-koo-koo” kid, and even the teachers gave him space. Dink used his influence to do a great many things, and broke up a few fights by running in circles around combatants, giggling while he chanted little-known poems by obscure authors.

Nanka Kurohari’s little group gained the attention of his parents, and they talked about it to his uncle, who was a psychology professor in Goldenrod, and his uncle told them that the adventure could do Dink some good. His parents bought him a Pokémon specifically for the trip, and lucky him, he already had a friend from before, as well as the Croagunk from Nanka, totalling to three.

-Accessories: He has a golden tooth. Yes, a Croagunk with a golden tooth. Yes, he does.
