Closed Mystery Dungeon: A New Beginning

The world of Pokemon is a bright cheery place, especially when one is a young Pokemon without any worry for the world around them. Sheltered by your parents, you are a young Pokemon, unsure in the ways of the world around you. Your parents cared for you, and you loved them.

But not every Pokemon has parents. Recently, the Alpha Pokemon Arceus cast himself into the flames of death and rose again as a child, as must happen every 10,000 years. The young Alpha Pokemon grew jealous, watching others with their mothers and fathers. He decide that everyone would be lonely as he was, and cast all adult Pokemon into another dimension.

Your parents ripped cruelly away, you are now alone. But other young Pokemon have come up with a plan: find Giratina. She can return your parents from the dimension they were cast into, and talk sense into the young Arceus. The journey will he hard, but together we can do it!

Appearance: She is a little chubbier than normal Munchlaxes, giving her a softer image. Around her neck, she wears a navy blue scarf, given to her by her Granny when she was six. Her eyes are sky blue and she wears a bag that carries whatever she finds.

Personality: She is chipper and hyper-active. She doesn’t stay in one spot for long, making her a very odd Munchlax. She always cheerful in situations, finding herself as the point of all happiness in a crowd. After all the parents disappeared, she has taken it upon herself to act as the town’s “mommy”.

Bio: Torei was raised by her Grandparents rather than her mother, who passed away shortly after giving birth to Torei. Her granny was a wise and sarcastic Arcanine that often told her grand-daughter about her own adventures as a Rescue Team member called “Blazing Claws”. Her Grandpa was a soft-spoken and strong Weavile that was once a member of the same team as her granny. They both claimed that’s how they fell in love with each other. From this loving environment, Torei grew into a ball of hyper happiness that brought unwanted cheer to others. Within her younger years, she found a Shelidon that she instantly glomed onto as a friend.

Relationships: Close friends with Silver. Doesn't know that Silver likes her.

Other: She likes food, a lot of it…mostly apples. If you make her sad *gasp* you can make it up by giving her an apple.

Appearance: Shiny, but with bright green eyes instead of reddish-orange (Ralts do have eyes, but they're hidden under their cap)
Personality: Stubborn, but when you get to know her she's not all that bad. She has a low tolerance for pain and hunger, and that's about the only thing that can get in her way when she wants something. She's scared of Pokemon that she doesn't know.
Bio: She was born in a rather deep forest amongst a tribe of others of the Ralts evolutionary line. She hasn't had much experience with any other Pokemon except maybe the Pidgey, Taillow and Starly that flitted through the trees, and the occasional Misdreavus at night, and as a result she became afraid of strangers.

But when the parents disappeared, she decided to take charge and find them herself while all the younger Ralts and Kirlia were panicking, and she left the tribe on her own to start her adventure.

Appearance: Silver is small and stocky, as are all of his kind. His face shield is shiny from him polishing it almost obsessively on rocks, trees, buildings, and other Pokemon. His eyes are a steel grey like his face shield. He wears a red bandanna around his neck. He has a little scar on his tail from an... incident with a Poochyena.

Personality: Silver is the calm to Torei's hyper. He is quiet and stoic, preferring not to speak unless spoken to or he has something worthwhile to say. He gets exasperated around people who are unlike him, and makes little huffing sounds when annoyed. He is possessive of Torei.

Bio: Born into a family of steel-types, Silver felt very at home with his relatives. His grandfather, an old Aggron, would always tell him stories about Rescue Teams, brave Pokemon who helped others. He longed to belong to one ever since he heard his first story, and would beg his parents to let him join one, but they would never let him. He met Torei when his grandfather took him to visit his old buddies from when he was part of a Rescue Team. His grandfather was a member of the same team as both of Torei's grandparents.

Relationships: Torei is his childhood friend. He has a secret crush on her.

Personality: Alec is an spoilt pretty-boy, who thinks rather highly of himself, which is mainly due his parents treating him like a prince. He hates becoming dirty above anything else, and acts for most of the time like an arrogant snot to other people, but he is actually a good Pokémon if one knows him. He do tend to order others around, and doesn't expect anyone to not do what he tells them to, if someone would actually would put him in pressure, he'd break down and start crying.
His favourite interest is to look at his reflection and comment on how pretty he is, unless he is dirty which one won't see because he'll already be cleaning himself.

Bio: Alec comes from a rather "elegant" family if to say that way, but his parents was rather nice Pokémon, in contrast to him. But this is due the fact they spoiled him a bit to much, but he did at least not have his royal-like around them, as Alec did like his family quite a lot. While, as said, he comes from a elegant family, his grandfather was actually a famous rescue team member, but Alec has never met him, as he lives high in the mountains.

He uses the lessons he's taught well to learn more, and prefers being polite when he can. Being young, he doesn't have much experience about what's dangerous and what's not, so he can be a bit naive at times.

Bio: Luna got his name because his parents hatched him in the light of the moon in a dense forest. It was just beneath a small gap in the trees that he emerged from his egg. Due to him getting so much moonlight, what would normally be black on his body is a bluish silver. When he was two months old, his parents disappeared through a vacuum (or simply an absence of matter), and by then he was independent enough to live without them but not to teach himself lessons about life.

Bio: Not exactly a child, but as a basic Pokemon, Freezefire's parents were taken as well. She did live with them, and was about to go find her own way when they.. disappeared. So she's on her own.

Appearance: Marx always wears a red ribbon around his neck like a scarf, which he found while dumpster diving. It is very torn and filthy due to him not cleaning it. Otherwise, he looks like any other Gligar his age.

Personality: Marx was never too knowledgeable, due to rarely going to school. That's not to say he isn't smart - he is actually quite clever, and while he can't so much as read, he has good logic and reasoning skills and tends to manipulate others to get what he wants. Marx is often told by the few peers he has how mature he is for his age. He tries to act tough in order to keep others at bay, though this often gets him beaten into a bloody pulp as he actually has little experience in battles. In reality, he is actually quite timid and shy and his social skills are rather poor. Marx speaks with a lisp.

Bio: Marx was raised by his father, a Gliscor, who had divorced with his wife shortly before Marx hatched. He was rather neglected, probably due to his father having difficulty raising him alone, and his abusive nature. Marx had a deep hatred of him for this, and of his mother for leaving him with this "sicko".

Even when he was as young as 6, Marx was only ever home about twice a day; once in the morning when he got up, and once at night when he had leftovers and went to bed. Sometimes he would be away for more than a day. The only time his father had to go looking for him was when he had been gone an entire week. According to Marx, he had just "forgotten". While he's away he usually hangs out in the alleys with his Meowth friends, occasionally scrounging for food in the dumpsters of a nearby restaurant. The Meowth considered him the leader of their clan, until one of them evolved into a Persian. That day Marx was ran out and replaced, exiled. From then on he wandered the streets, occasionally going back to the dumpsters when no one was around.

When his father was taken away from him by Arceus, he was at first relieved, even if he didn't know what had happened to him. But after a few days of being home alone, Marx realized he couldn't do anything on his own and became depressed. He waited and waited for him to return, but alas, it never happened. He didn't know how, but somehow, he was going to find him. Maybe if he did, he thought to himself, perhaps his father would take better care of him...?

Also, it's pretty easy to startle her, so prepare for overreaction whenever you sneak up on her. Determination and loyalty are her most noticeable personality traits. She is also organized when it comes to hierarchy and sees herself as subordinate; she doesn't act arrogant towards many others, and often lets them tell her what to do.

Bio: Born as a little tiny pup in a litter of five to a pack of Mightyena and Poochyena. As it usually is with wolf packs, her mother was the alpha female; however, in this situation, her father was not alpha, but rather beta male. However, when the alphas disappeared, the pack grew anxious and eventually split up, leaving her alone.

Personality: Kat is timid and very nervous for a Scyther. She doesn't like being in charge and completely panics under pressure. Still, she fights like a demon when angry enough and never, ever gives up once she decides to accomplish something. This is both a blessing and a curse, as she'll keep trying, even if she's obviously going to fail.
Bio: Kat lived rather happily in a swarm of other Scyther and Scizor, meaning there was enough food and not too much fighting amongst themselves. However, after all the parents disappeared, the young Scythers had no idea how to survive on their own without the adults to hunt for them. They tried to eat berries and hunt for themselves, but, being so young, they were all completely incompetent. They began fighting amongst themselves even more than usual, which injured and killed a lot of them. Kat expected cannibalism to soon follow, and left to help search for the parents.

However, when she gets bored of annoying others, she gets very quiet, and mostly thinks about her parents. Otherwise, if someone manages to talk her into doing something, she'll try to do it thoroughly.

Bio: Cirrus was the last hatchling in a small flock of Altaria and other Swablu. She was always chased around by older chicks, but she didn't really mind. She was pretty fast for her age.

Then she woke up one day in the nest, and her parents were gone. She assumed they had gone out hunting, even though usually only one of them left the nest to hunt at a time, and so she waited. After a day, though, she began to get worried and fell out of the nest while watching for them. She got one of the older chicks that wasn't arrogant about his age to teach her how to fly, and she flew off to see if there were any adult Pokemon left.

Appearance: Cirrus's wings are swept a bit, making them appear less fluffy and more like a cirrus cloud.

Personality: Cirrus is very timid because of her young age and tends to panic. She is also pretty happy sometimes, to an annoying point. However, when she gets bored of annoying others, she gets very quiet, and mostly thinks about her parents. Otherwise, if someone manages to talk her into doing something, she'll try to do it thoroughly.

Bio: Cirrus was the last hatchling in a small flock of Altaria and other Swablu. She was always chased around by older chicks, but she didn't really mind. She was pretty fast for her age.

Then she woke up one day in the nest, and her parents were gone. She assumed they had gone out hunting, even though usually only one of them left the nest to hunt at a time, and so she waited. After a day, though, she began to get worried and fell out of the nest while watching for them. She got one of the older chicks that wasn't arrogant about his age to teach her how to fly, and she flew off to see if there were any adult Pokemon left.

Relationships: None, although she looks up to everyone older than her.

Other: She likes meat sometimes, but can easily settle for a diet of berries, as long as they're mostly Nanab or Pecha berries.

Relationships: Bit of a crush on Clair, just too shy to admit to it; respects Alec, just is too into holding a high reputation, (first thought on Alec, when Seth first saw him: "sooooooo cute... wait, THAT'S A BOY!!!", but those were thoughts, not words)
