"We will wait for you no more, control(?) is being taken away from you. (???0:12-0:15???) Not anymore. I'm coming for you and you will lead me to the ark."

Well it's obviously not Jay posting it, if that gives you any indication. D:

Now I'm trying to figure out whose voice that sounds like. It definitely doesn't sound like Tim. Alex is a possibility. I'm still on the TTA == Seth wagon, but it's really hard to tell when I have like two really short lines by him to compare it to.

Do note that "we" and "us" are used consistently throughout the dialogue until the "I'm coming for you" bit.

Also, the "it's been a game for us" part makes me doubt the Alex theory a little bit. It sure wasn't a game when Alex wanted to burn the tapes and left the state.
 
I've jumped ship to the Many Maskies Theory;

Top one is Sarah; she's wearing a hoodie/jacket thing to cover up her girly figure.
Middle one is Tim; he's got his distinctive jacket and sideburns.
Bottom one is Seth; slight frame and someone needs to do all the filming effects.

And I'm gonna go Occam's razor on TTA and say that TTA=Seth=Masky #3.
 
Tim-Masky looks like such a badass in this.

But yeah, it did look like there was more than one mask in this video. Your third picture especially looks like a separate person. Not sure if #1 is a different person though. Could be.

I ended up reading the one Marble Hornets fanfic in existence the other day, and it involved TTA and Masky being two seperate people with Masky doing all the legwork and TTA grabbing a mask and heading out when necessary. Now I can't get that idea out of my head. :p

I think at least that some elements of my old theory still apply; I think the Maskies want to get into "the ark", Slendy's lair. They encouraged Jay to keep returning to the house until he started opening the gateway to the ark, so that they could get in. That's why they're camping out in the house. In #19 and Return, they bring Jay there, hoping to appease Slendy but it doesn't work. Then when they encourage Jay to stay home, it causes his house to become a gateway to the ark. Now, the Maskies are gonna corner Jay in his house and use him to open a gateway to the ark. "I'm coming for you and you will lead me to the ark."

I just don't know why.

Alright, I was just about to feed my cats when suddenly what you said(as well as a few other things) popped into my head.

Why would the Maskies refer to themselves with "we" and "us" until the very end, where (according to your theory) they say "I'm coming for you and you will lead me to the ark."? But...what if Alex is totheark? After being tormented by Slendy, he goes insane and decides he wants to end Slender Man forever. He finally let's in the crew of Marble Hornets on what had been happening. Meanwhile, he finds out J is starting to view the tapes. So he is using his gang of Maskies to use J as a means of getting "to the ark," or Slendy's lair as your theory said.

So uh, I think you should post your theory and my theory based on it at TvTropes, like what you did earlier. I would do it myself, but I'm not a Troper so.... :D
 
It's not really a full theory though is it? Why would Alex let the rest of the crew and cast in on it but not Jay? Why would all the crew agree? If Alex wants to defeat Slendy, why didn't he do it in "Return" when he used Jay as bait to draw out Slendy?

I think the reason it changed from "we" to "us" is because the speaking Masky wanted to sharply change from broader, vaguer sentences ("We will wait for you no more, control is being taken away from you."), to something blunt and direct ("I'm coming for you, and you will lead me to the ark.") The speaking Masky was messing with J's head and our's.
 
Well, Brian obviously knew about the Slender Man. Tim is obviously one of the maskies. Sarah(or whatever her name was) I believe was there when they first encountered Slendy during filming(when Alex goes up to him to get him off the set).

They won't tell J about it because, well, let's face it. If you knew you were being used to reach Slendy, wouldn't you get the fuck away from there? They need him to stay, as right now he is probably the only connection they have to Slendy.

As for Return, I'm not sure. Uh....can't explain away that one.

Though, aside from that, there is still two more holes: why would Alex even want to get near Slendy, even if he has the means to defeat him? Also, why don't they just use his house to reach Slendy?

We must work this out somehow. Right now it looks like failure is nigh for J(and I didn't just pull that from totheark's video).
 
My friends and I are officially planning our own Slendy series for the summer, set in south Ireland. It probably won't be as good as Marble Hornets but we're gonna try.
 
I got into the Slender Man in December. I was terrified for weeks. At one point I convinced myself he was real. I got over it, but I still look outside sometimes to see if I can spot him. I am staying away from MarbleHornets forever.
 
J has moved to a hotel as of the 15th.

Either new entries will be here, he will visit either his house or the Slendy house, or totheark would(presumably) continue uploading screwed up vids on either youtube account.
 
I just got into this and it's pretty intriguing. Slender man is pretty much everywhere I look now.
 
...am I the only person who is not even vaguely spooked by this? Not only is it not real, but it's not even honestly pretending to be real; I mean, it originated in a "Create Paranormal Pictures" thread, for Pete's sake. It doesn't play off the sense of what-if that lends spookiness to I-swear-this-really-happened paranormal stories, and as far as acknowledgedly fictional horror stories and monsters go, the Slender Man is really awfully unremarkable. :/

Granted, I didn't read everything; I got bored after a while of "OMG! This photoshopped picture with a tentacled man in the background! I will never sleep easy again!" Maybe I'm just missing something?
