I didn't get toooo far, I think I had to stop somewhere in the middle of reading the Contest Spectacular mafia game, but I do love a good archive and mean to get back to it attt some point. I really enjoyed the PMD one though!

Hello hello!!! This is my first mafia game here! Or at least my first one in. Looks at smudged writing on hand. Fourteen years. It was here or on Marriland Forums, back when I probably shouldn't have had free reign on the internet. So it's a combo of nostalgia and genuine interest, I was reading some of the older game archives here LOL

I do enjoy social deduction games!! I played a bunch of One Night Ultimate Werewolf a few years back, which I miss!

would I recognize you... would you be comfortable telling us your old username... I have a long memory (maybe)

I thiiiink. I signed up a couple of times? =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇) My go-to usernames were Panikkay & TheSentientHat/SentientHat back then, so one of those. I don't think I was too active on either of those accounts so not sure if I made any particular impressions on anyone!

I've only ever played these two games here (though I was lurking this forum for a looooong time before that)
My first game ended pretty quick, so I didn't get to spend much time as Town, but it was pretty cool!
Being Mafia was a bit more stressful, because I'm not a great liar and also my partner got caught pretty early so I had to steer (at least until activity slowed down a bit, of course). Still looking forward to next time I get to be Mafia, though
So yeah, I thiiiink I like Town more? Haven't got much chance to figure that out yet lol

What about it did you like? Or do you just mean in comparison to playing as mafia? Understandable if you don't have a strong basis for the opinion right now, but.

Yeah, don't have much to base that on, mostly compared to being mafia. But still, I like me a good mystery, so trying to deduce who's to be trusted is fun!

Do you have a more specific question or an opinion about it?

I'm primarily surprised no one's poked at it so far besides Mawile angry-reacting to it; it's at the very least a total Thing That Happened

anyway, coming from you at least, I interpret it as more of a deliberate conversation-starter than an attempt to sneak one past everyone else's notice; townier than not, but also the sort of towny thing that isn't hard to do as mafia, so I'm not going to read too much into it

oh, and a specific question -- any particular reason why Mawile? I can think of a couple, but let's hear it from the wet horse's mouth first
