Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.
Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.
Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?
"Yeah. My fucking conscience. That's why I can't go yet. I can't look Rui in the eye and tell her I had a chance to help save a world, and I bailed. Goddamnit, I gotta stay and see this through. 'Cause I'll feel bad otherwise. Fuckssake."
"Copy that." Nova bent over and streeeeeeeetched. "Uhhh, nothing personal if 'doing good' means we have to slug it out with your ex. Cuz there's a nonzero chance he tries to show us the door like he did for Lorrel."
"Guess you really are one of us, then. Wonder if Betel could connect you to their wayfarer network thing once they're back online, you know, make it official? That'd be handy."
He looked back to Auriga. "Say we are compelled by our consciences to stay here, would you at least be able to tell us where Starr and Jesse are, roughly? Seems to me like we ought to track them down, and like you might know."
"Why did you need souls who would be okay with... losing... something?" (Someone.) "What does that have to do with stopping a bunch of other people who are trying to control reality?"
"Half-met, huh? That's cryptic. Though if he's as ambitious as you say, I'm sure we'll bump into him soon enough for real."
"...someone who uses the name Neo, at least sometimes? Or is he someone you summoned, or some other faller entirely? Or can you not answer that? It's fine if you can't."
"Anything else? Oh, and you wouldn't mind if we laid down an anchor in a nearby small dungeon, would you? It'd really help us regroup with everyone else faster."
