    If you're working in paint, then move the sprite to the top left corner of the area and resize the white space so that it's hugging the sprite.

    Ken, you have a little work to on your sprites. For one, they're resized. Sprites should be small and pixely, not smooth. If you need to work on them at a small level, zoom in instead of stretching them. See, this is a sprite: While this is not:
