• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    Sasuke/Ninja Warrior

I used to watch it a lot, but now I don't have cable or satellite... Ever seen American Ninja Warrior? The format is a bit different, but it's got a lot of the same stuff.

    Magic: the Gathering Club

I went 4-1 at the prerelease I went to, playing Selesnya. My pool had 2 Selesnya Guildgates, 1 Azorius Guildgate, 1 Hallowed Fountain, and 2 Transguild Promenade, along with a Selesnya and Azorius Keyrune, so I had my colors super fixed. I opened an Isperia to act as bomb #2. The meat of my deck...

    Magic: the Gathering Club

Probably going with Selesnya at the prerelease. Haven't really been brewing new deck ideas, so I'll just see what I can add to G/W humans. Fencing Ace might be worth a shot now that we have Rancor again. Vraska looks amazing. Got the gears turning in my head over a new Junkwalkers deck (W/B/G...

    Magic: the Gathering Club

You pose a good point. But then that got me thinking, since Magosi bounces itself, why not just play it twice in one turn to accelerate the process? Cards like Ley Druid let you untap it as soon as you've put a counter on.

    Magic: the Gathering Club

Magosi is great because Wizards tried their hardest to make it not work, and it really doesn't except through convoluted processes. Along with all that, you need some way to play extra lands, otherwise you won't really go anywhere. Exploration is way out of your budget. Walking Atlas, perhaps...

    [Open] Lavani Devoured

Name: Velian Kolar Species: Human Gender: Male Mana Colors: Blue, Red, Green Appearance: A thin man standing around 5' 10", with frizzled, graying hair, and dark blue eyes. He looks aged, yet still energetic. He is usually still seen wearing an Izzet outfit, a red and blue robe adorned with and...

    Magic: the Gathering Club

Just note that Vintage and Legacy are both rather expensive formats to get into. (I talked a bit about my own forays into Legacy in my opening post) That is, if you want to build a deck that can actually beat someone. If you just want to mess around without having a thousand dollar collection...

Reserve a spot for me too, please.

Form of the Dragon was made before the revision, though. Mind you, I don't really care, because I don't think I've fully gotten over the revision myself.

Nice to see others playing Magic. I've been playing since Fifth Dawn's release, about eight years ago now. Sporting a R/G beast precon from Onslaught. I've come a long way, after Zendikar's release I began giving tournaments a shot. Casually, I don't have a lot of kitchen table decks left...

    Dreams of the Past: Requiem

Stormy, you crazy for not letting this give up the ghost. Let's give this one our best shot. Question before I get to the form, level moves, tutor moves, TM moves, but no egg moves? Name: Sinar Age: 1908 Gender: N/A Species: Solrock Appearance: A regular old Solrock, with all eight spokes...

As soon as I read that spoiler text, I was in. But oh man, it's been a very, very long time since I've touched one of the games and even longer since I've seen any of the anime.

    Are natures that important in-game?

Basically, this. The AI will just drop a OHKO move (such as Horn Drill or Guillotine) on you and you can do nothing about it. It's how good runs end. That said, it's still the AI, and as such is still susceptible to all the usual tricks. Like exploiting the fact that it never switches. With...

    Which layout do you use?

Main Page: Bouncy Mew. I used to use Hellfire, but I was flipping through the styles and something compelled me to use Bouncy Mew, with it's pleasant pink. I think it's because it reminded me of Mew's Hangout... Forums: Axe Murderer. On the old forums, I used the Scyther style. I am so used to...

    Kpop

I went through a bit of a K-pop phase that ended last year. Lee Hyori, Rain, DBSK, Big Bang, and Super Junior are the artists I remember most. It started when I started listening to BoA's (still listen to her) Korean songs, so basically on off-shoot of my enjoyment of J-pop. Now I just listen to...

    What Pokemon are good pets?

My domesticated team: Espeon: The Eeveelutions seem popular, and really, why not? Espeon is my favorite. Torchic: My favorite fire starter, with minimal risk of lighting something on fire by simply standing near it. Natu: I have just adored this Pokemon since day one of G/S. Pretty simple to...

Many of the properties within have already seen some sort of release in America, so it they have an impetus to bring it here. That or people will be sure to let Namco et al know that the game should come here. Operation Rainfall worked, you never know.

    Chaos of the MYTH

After a short wait at the doorway, the others finally began to head this way. Scanning the group once more, Makoto sees that overall, they're pretty normal. Most of them were humans. Granted, strangely dressed, but human nonetheless. She was nonplussed by the others, having seen plenty of...
