yes but future fusion sends the fusion materials to the grave and so if you get dragons mirror within two turns you don't have to wait, plus it eliminates the possibility that your opponent will destroy future fusion. plus dragons mirror and future fusion count as fusion summons. "brains" -

You should read the war of souls series by margret weis. It is part of the dragon lance series(the first one is called dragons of a fallen sun). -
