• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    'Tis a Shiny!

I've got my fair share of shinies. I'll list them by game: FireRed: Rattata. I'd just beaten the E4 again and felt like walking to Viridian instead of flying somewhere else. BOOM. Shiny Rattata on Route 1. Now a Raticate. Pearl: Unown P. I was in the Solaceon Ruins trying to catch all of...

    Karkat Vantas vs Risingbadge

Well, as to Rest, the description says that a little bit of health is restored each action, so I'll do that, maybe 10% per action? Status is healed instantly, and energy isn't healed at all. And Solarbeam, I'll get round to fixing it soon. Stupid charge attacks not having to charge, then...

    Mawile vs. Eonrider

Sorry for not posting earlier, but I didn't see this. Porygon, huh? Well then, Aura, looks like you're up. EDIT: Whoops, my bad. Okay, Start with Focus Blast, then Aura Sphere, and finally Brick Break. If it uses Conversion 2, then use Crunch for the following actions. If it Protects/Detects...

Gragh. Can't get to the computer for about five days. Sorry, guys.

    Karkat Vantas vs Risingbadge

Okay, that should fix it. Solarbeam's description sounds like it has to charge though. Ah, well, everyone makes mistakes. Thanks, Negrek.

    Karkat Vantas vs Risingbadge

It's a happy day in Sleepy Screechy T-rex Forest, and the two trainers who have chosen to battle here patiently wait for the referee to appear. Soon, he comes stumbling through the forest, reeking of Repel. Nervously eyeing the sleeping dinosaur in the corner, he waves his flags to let the...

If feels weird doing all this quoting stuff when I'm the post underneath, but I'm pretty sure it's necessary. I'll take you on. Profile

    Eonrider vs Mai

Well, that was a bit of a turn around. First, Swords Dance. Then, Night Slash twice. If on the second or third actions she Protects, use Feint, and if she tries to attract you again, use an attract of your own first. If she tries to attract you on the first action, Swords Dance on the...

What Pokemon would you be in real life?

I mean, if you woke up one morning and suddenly found out you were a Pokemon, which one would you want it to be? I'd be a Blaziken, because it's still sorta humanoid (I know it's a chicken, but it stands upright and has opposable thumbs), plus I get taller, have awesome fire abilities, and...

    Eonrider vs Mai

Okay, this is working out. Fire Fist, I know you like Rallie, but I'm not sure she feels the same way about you. Fix that with your own Attract. Next, show your feelings with a pretty Will-o-wisp. Next, if you're asleep, use Sleep Talk, and if you're awake, use Night Slash...

SilverShard Surskit [M] You found him sleeping on a pond. The ball fell into the water when you caught him though, so you got soaked trying to get it out.
