• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    It's time, you guys ... :(

I had assumed you weren't active anymore, otherwise I would have... I don't know, said hi, or something. I wish I had noticed you around, before now. I'll miss you. I hope you come back some day.

Open Black Moon Academy - School for the Gifted

(Sorry if this is a bit long. My writing is rarely concise. It's a trait that I'm working on. I also had a good deal of catching up to do.) Eilir gazed out of the window as her father drove. Hopefully to the right place, this time. She suppressed a sigh. They were going to be late. Hours...

(Signups: OPEN) Black Moon Academy – School for the Gifted

Re: (Signups: OPEN) Black Moon Academy – School for the Gifted Being the derp that I am, it only occurred to me to look at the dates on the thread after I had finished most of this. Seeing as I had, as mentioned, already finished most of this, I decided to finish it and post it and hope for the...

    Well hey guys/gals/et cetera

The forum wants to know where I've been for the past two weeks. It took it that long to notice I was gone? I am awash with sadness. I was reminiscing recently - just reminiscing in general, not about anything in particular - and my mind was drawn (I'm not sure what by, possibly by itself) to...

    Mendatt vs. Coloursfall

Re: Mendatt vs. Coloursfall (Ref: Mai) Sorry about that. I kind of forgot that this existed. Slightly. Just a little bit. ... Aaanyways, on the subject of, oh, I don't know, root vegetables... Oh yeah, battle. Where was I... Okay... We're almost certainly going to lose this round, but... Wait...

    Open Tides Under Siege

Only concerning me and Angel... That could imply a variety of things. At the moment the most likely is something related to the succession... He saw beauty shoot him a look from the corner of his eye. He barely had to see it to know what it was meant to convey. Of course, if for any reason I'm...

    Mendatt vs. Coloursfall

Re: Mendatt vs. Coloursfall (Ref: Mai) Wouldn't a pointedly wirey dog be able to break free from the grasp of, well, a bird? They don't exactly have very strong leg muscles.

    Mendatt vs. Coloursfall

Re: Mendatt vs. Coloursfall (Ref: Mai) That makes sense, although it does unfortunately limit even further my access to super-effective moves. Let's see... Soldier's access to strategic moves is somewhat limited, so we shouldn't need to worry about conditionals. Since we did more damage than...

    Open Tides Under Siege

Rafael dug himself out of the sand he had buried himself in, and winced. The issue with using sand as a shield against electricity is the fact that it is, by virtue of being sand, more full of cracks than it is of rock. It dissipated most of the shock, but the remainder was still painful, what...

Re: Mendatt vs. Coloursfall (Ref: Mai) Oh... I'm supposed to post commands, aren't I... *Facepalm* Aaaanyhow, get in a fighting mood with a Swords Dance, and proceed to throw cubes of sugar at Soldier. Swords Dance ~ Rock Slide ~ Rock Slide

    Emergency Referee Outpost

It's a little bit past the one-month anniversary of the last time this is reffed, so unless Karkat does, in fact, ref this, I'm just going to stick it in here and hope someone picks it up.

    SomeGuy vs. Mendatt

For a second there I thought you had finished the reffing. How silly of me. Anyways, are you sure? I can't see any.

    Mendatt vs. Coloursfall

Re: Mendatt vs. Coloursfall (Ref: Mai) Hmm. Eidolon, you're awesome. You can go first. Signature Attribute: Swordfighter Eidolon is not an average riolu, for one reason and one reason alone: He has a sword. He was born in Iron Mountain, which is an ancient cavern on an island, and where...

[11] blazheirio889 vs Mendatt (ref: Byrus)

Indeed it was. Eh, usually not a fan of fighting types either. It's just that Riolu's so dang cute. Anyhow, yeah, that would be fun. It was quite enjoyable battling you. Hmm. I can't decide whether to use the money from this battle to get Guess a sun stone, or to evolve my Kricketot.
