• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    Just rambling, I suppose. Haha.

I miss all you people from my childhood! Feel the same as everything that's been said. I keep showing up on these old sites and reliving my middle school days. Facebook and Reddit can't fill the void left by old fashioned forums.

    The Café of Doom

Re: The Café of Doom I think we need to go back to the old internet. An internet without tracking, website obesity, bots and suspicious election interference. I need to develop at least a repository of bits of the "old internet" that are still hanging around. Anyone remember PokeGods? That was...

    Old usernames?

I've always just been BlackChaosMew, but can't recall what happened to my old account on here so that's why this one is BCM. It's been years

    Anyone remember Buizel's Island?

I was on your site a lot, as BlackChaosMew, I remember really enjoying it! I get nostalgia waves every now and then and come back to sites like this and Eevee's HQ/ Route 50 to see what's going on. I really miss it when I remember, but then adult life eats up another few months of my life.

    The Café of Doom

Re: The Café of Doom I always wonder what's been happening to the old Pokemon communities I used to frequent. I'm glad to see that this one is still alive, though the forum's not as active as it once was. TCoD had a huge effect on me personally when I was a frequent poster back in middle school...

Silver is making a comeback! (for real this time)

Do I remember you people? Hmmm. . .

    Communism?

Well, many communists think people should still be given shelter, healthcare, education, food, necessities etc, etc, basically the things that aren't a problem to get, non-scarce things, I guess I'd say. And some communists are in favor of labour vouchers. And the reason many people don't work...

    Communism?

I wanna know why anticommunists never think about how if you don't work and take advantage of society, society will stop supporting you. Stop giving to the community and the community stops giving to you, etc. That stops this problem. The "human nature" arguments also typically consist of...

    Ask Altmer Anything

As in, the workers of a company/business deciding to collectively own and run the company/business, rather than a CEO/President/Board of Directors. Co-ops are an example.

How do you feel about worker ownership of the means of production?

Obama won the Nobel Peace prize.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/10/09/obama.nobel.international.reaction/ http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/2009/ ... Um. Yeah. I don't see what he's done to earn this yet, and apparently they're awarding it to him in hopes that he will make everything better?

Woman stabbed 18 times inside German courtroom, husband attacked by police officer

Misjudgment. I find it hard to believe that a cop can stand there and (apparently) do nothing while a woman gets shot 18 times, and then shoot the husband when he runs over to try to help her. There was no way the cop could have thought that the husband was the attacker. And it's ridiculous how...

Woman stabbed 18 times inside German courtroom, husband attacked by police officer

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jul/07/german-trial-hijab-murder-egypt This is really quite sick. You would think that there would be a security check while entering a courtroom. You would think the cop would be able to stop the man from stabbing her 18 times and not be able to react so...

    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I've got the Xbox 360 version. I've been playing it for almost a year. I'm a dark elf with a custom class and I usually use swords after paralyzing the enemy, it works pretty well except a bunch of monsters can't get paralyzed. I've beaten the Dark Brotherhood/Mage's Guild/Thieve's Guild/Arena...

Sum other users up as Pokemon.

Mehmew reminds me of Rattata. FMC always reminds me of Edward Elric, but for a pokemon I get reminded of Umbreon. Maybe a Sneasel. Arylett reminds me of Vulpix a little.

    Are you in a relationship?

Yeah, we started a few months ago, but now she's graduated and I haven't been able to see her since and we can only communicate by email, she's not allowed to give her phone number because her dad hates me. It really sucks.

    The Average TCoDer
