Holy crap, who was hit with this?

It's seriously taller than my dog.

We've got like I dunno a foot or a little bit less and it only started about 4 am -- it's 8:30 now -- and it's still coming down like crazy.

Snowing cats and dogs?


And it's funny cause Vernetown was only hit with a little bit of the storm. We actually had a snow day: we had enough last year that we refused to have any more so we enacted this late-start-only rule and we actually have a snow day and it's finals.


Crazy. Crazy shit.


Who wants to come over and make snowmen all over the driveway!

Man, I woke up and looked outside this morning and my window (my bedroom's in the basement) was completely covered with snow.
And the best thing?
I'm pretty sure they closed the tech campus, which would mean that next to EVERY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE COUNTY (and like three over in McHenry county) is closed.

Except that BD school I'm sent to FOR NO REASON, which has a late start.
But my regular HS is closed so I don't have to go 8D
 
We hardly got any snow, only about three inches, but some freezing rain so they closed school. The day before Christmas break too. With not one, not two but THREE finals scheduled for today. I just hope they don't make us do them on the Monday that we get back.
 
My school also has a snow day today. The snow isn't too deep, but its everywhere. I can hardly look outside, because the snow is so bright. And, where the fuck are our snow plows? The streets are completely covered. State budget cuts... >.>

Alright. So, yeah, sometimes we get snow, sometimes we don't.

It's never very much, of course.

But coincidentially, so am I. It you know anything about where I live, You'd know that Our city has around 15 cm of snow each year. The past week, it snowed at least 20 cm, and the weather forecast calls for around 40 cm more next week. It's cold (swearing ommited): almost 20 degrees Celcius below normal (sorry about the bad spelling) apparently because of an "Arctic outflow".

This happened to me! :D But, about 4 people had finals, and my school called off. So one less snow day for me... Damn.
