My name is...
Okay. Tonight, the Civic theatre does the Dress Rehearsal for our production of "Inherit the Wind" which, if you don't know, is about the famous Scopes Monkey Trial.

The play is about Evolution Vs. Creation, with the man on trial being a schoolteacher who read to one of his classes from Darwin.

But, that's not important right now. I'm so giddy! The critic from the newspaper is also coming to watch, and, tommorow night, we open. Three monthes of sweat and tears are finally paying off!

I play a small part, yes. A rather talkative townsperson.

Anyways, dress rehearsal went great! Everybody nailed their parts...although, there was one small mix up...the main character delivered a long, somber monolouge with his fly down.
