• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

The Shadow in the Light
If you're wondering, this is based off of real life. Something that actually happened to me today. It's just a short retelling of it, so it is technically nonfiction. This does include the b-word.

It was something that she should have been used to. It happened to her every single day.

She drew a shaky breath and ran her hand through her hair, looking at the computer screen.

Sure, she got bullied alot. She got bullied all the time at school. She got called an idiot, and several names relating to her Native American heritage.

But it was never this bad.

She had never been called a jerk by one of her friends, let alone a bitch. It just wasn't right. She didn't know what she had done wrong.

She quickly went back to her favorite website and logged in. She typed in the message quickly. There was no point in wasting time. In short, she had wrote: "Hey guys, I'm leaving, I've had enough. Bye. I guess I'll see you around. I'm really sorry."

Usually she didn't just break down, but today she did.

Tears were running down her face. She should have been used to it. She was called things that were just as bad, but today she just broke down.

She ran to her mom and sat down with her, crying into her shoulder like a little kid. Her mom had always told her not to let people get to her. This one time, she did.

And it turned out badly.
