The Elder Gods will only permit merging of realms by one means -- victory in Mortal Kombat. Emperor Shao Kahn of Outworld, Konqueror of Realms, has been attempting to make all realms his domain, and Earthrealm is his next target. His threat looms ever worse upon these prosperous lands; he seems closer to his goal each time. But will he ultimately suceed? Or will he eventually fall?
