The Nine Pirate Lords must rid themselves of an investation of rats that have joined their crews. The scum of the Royal Navy have melded into the crews of each of the Lord's flagships, including the legendary Black Pearl. In the dead of night they stalk and kill unsuspecting crew members as they sleep in an attempt to halt the fleet's progress.

They will reach Shipwreck Cove within four days.

Not only do they have rats in their midst, but Davy Jones has planted some of his personal crew aboard as well, or, at least, crew-to-be.

But rats and undead are the least of their problems when it comes to releasing gods.

Summary:

This game will take place upon the Black Pearl as she makes her way to Shipwreck Cove during the events of the third movie Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. As a result the only characters will be the crew of the Black Pearl at that time. (Sorry Will Turner and Elizabeth fans, they weren't there.)

The three factions will be Pirates/Crew of the Black Pearl (Town), Royal Navy (Mafia), and Flying Dutchman (Cult). There will be a fourth, alien, alignment as well.

  • At least fifteen players requested.
  • Roles will be secret.
  • This is a multi faction mafia game.
  • The roles are not limited to; original roles, special roles, and standard roles.
  • There is a four day phase time limit to this game. If either the town or the mafia do not win within the end of the fourth day (end of fourth night) the third faction will win. Alien wins upon their own conditions.

RULES:
  1. Out of thread communication is ALLOWED.
  2. Inactivity. If you have a role and don't use it for two nights you get modkilled.
  3. Abstains permitted, no limit.
  4. Actions not sent in WILL BE RANDOMIZED, same with votes.
  5. Phases will last ABOUT 48 hours (give or take, we aren't all perfect, nor have ready internet access). This is more than enough time to get online and send in your vote/night action. Extensions will be 24 hours each and will be given as needed at the GM's discretion.
  6. Lynches will happen per votes. Got one vote? No one else put up for lynch? Sorry, you're dead. This is a fast paced game.
  7. You MAY NOT post/quote your role PM.

Who are the town/mafia/third faction?
It gets kinda confusing with all the pirates/rats(?)/zombies.

It's going to be Pirates (Town), Navy (Mafia), and the members of Davy Jones' Crew (Cult).

Remember the Cult can be both mafia and town; a mix.

They aren't zombies, that's part of the canon, they are sailors that were supposed to die at sea but were picked up by Davy Jones to serve on his crew. They aren't dead, not literally at least. They are alive... sort of, but due to the fact that Jones no longer does his duty of escorting those who died at sea to their afterlife they take the forms of... well... sea life... as punishment, at least over time.
