A Mohac take on what happened after the events of BW2. Quite gruesome towards the end.
I: Ghetsis
“Lord Ghetsis has lost control. We will take it from here.” The Triad surrounded the Plasma Leader, honing in on him. Ghetsis struggled and writhed in an attempt to escape, but all he got for his efforts was the loss of his cane, which clattered onto the ground. And in an instant, they were somewhere else, leaving the boy who beat him, as well as N, behind.
“Where are we?” Ghetsis gasped. The Shadows backed up, giving their lord some space. “Calm yourself, my lord,” one of them instructed. Ghetsis scowled at them, and said through gritted teeth, “Answer my question. Where are we!?” One of the Shadows replied, “We are in N’s Castle, my lord. In the room where Zekrom and Reshiram were awakened.”
Ghetsis’ eyes widened. “Get me out of this cursed place! Get me out!” Before anyone replied, they were again somewhere else. This place was more recognizable. It was Ghetsis’ office in the Plasma Frigate. “This will have to do, my lord,” another Shadow replied.
Ghetsis calmed a little. “Very well.” The Shadow Triad circled in on him again. “My lord, we must be fully honest with you... you are unstable. You are hated here in Unova. It would be best if you fled.” Ghetsis shook his head. “No! I will formulate a new plan, and revive Team Plasma. Our legacy must not die- that blasted Colress wrecked it all, but I am prepared to rise from the ashes! I will adhere to my cause, and we will rule Unova, and eventually, the world!”
The Shadow Triad did not change their expressions. “I’m sorry, my lord. We must do what is best.” Ghetsis disappeared, but this time, he was not followed by the Shadow Triad. He was alone, in a hidden grotto, where a curious Eevee stared at him. Ghetsis backhanded the thing, sending it flying into the hedge. “Get away from me, you tool! You are the very reason I am where I am! Your existence disgusts me!” The Eevee began to whimper, but then it grew angry and began to yip at Ghetsis. “Oh, come off it! What are you going to do?” The Eevee knew exactly what it was going to do. It fired a star-shaped ray at the man, hitting him with its pointed edges.
“Ugh!” Ghetsis exclaimed in anguish. He ran from the hidden grotto, away from the Eevee. As soon as he came out, he saw a person. A Trainer, more specifically. Ghetsis only had one question for the Trainer: “Where am I?” The Trainer chuckled. “I’m sure the answer will come out in battle!” he insisted. Ghetsis was about to go berserk on the Trainer, but he compromised with himself. “As you wish,” he replied. “But if I win, you must tell me where we are.” The Trainer winked. “A deal is a deal! Go, Lopunny!” The fluffy beast appeared in front of the Trainer.
Without a word, Hydreigon materialized in front of Ghetsis. “Show no mercy,” was the only command. The three-headed monster viciously tore into the Lopunny, crushing it in its jaws with Crunch, and incinerating it with Flamethrower. “Very good,” Ghetsis praised, and the dragon returned to its ball. “Now, I will ask you again,” Ghetsis spat. “Where...am...I?”
The poor Trainer looked sadly at his fallen Lopunny. “You’re in the Sinnoh region.” Ghetsis smiled. “How wonderful,” he replied. “Now, if you excuse me, I have eight Gyms and a League to beat.”
I: N
Crobat burned through the sky, N hugging his back. That Trainer and Alder certainly changed N for the better. If it weren’t for him, that boy he had just encountered would be frozen into the ground, and N would have been part of the force that made it happen. N was in an eternal debt to the Trainer known as Hilbert. Now he had to find him.
He was sure the other boy, Nate, was on his way to the League by now. Naturally, of course. Someone of such vast power deserved to make it that far, N thought. But where could Hilbert be? There were many places. He could very well be as far as Hoenn by now. The best place to find out where he was would be in Numeva Town. People knew him there. People would answer his questions.
N stepped into the Juniper Research Lab. The busy professor looked up. N was lucky to have caught here there- she was almost never home. “N?” she asked. “Is that you?” N smiled and swept off his hat. “Natural Gropius Harmonia, at your service. I have a few questions for you.”
Professor Juniper smiled. “As do I.” N couldn’t help but smile back. Professor Juniper was such a spontaneous person. “Do you have any clue where Hilbert is right now?” he asked. Professor Juniper’s eyes scanned the air as she thought. “As a matter of fact, I think I do... yes, I believe he’s working at the Pokemon Center at the League.” N raised an eyebrow. “I can find him there?” he asked. The Professor nodded in response. “Yes, I believe so.” N smiled. “Thank you, professor. You’ve helped immaculately. I’ll be seeing you.” Juniper smiled. “Be seeing you, N.” With that, N hopped back on Crobat, headed toward the League. Only this time, it was to find Hilbert, not beat him in battle.
II: Ghestsis
The Gym Leaders were cake. The League was even easier. Cynthia was a bit of a challenge, but not too much. It felt good to actually try for once. And it had paid off- he was now the Champion of Sinnoh. The massive television that hung in his room doubled as an Xtransceiver. He turned it on and called Alder.
Alder took a few seconds to examine what was happening, then suddenly opened his mouth in awe. “Ghetsis!” Ghetsis smiled. “Hello, Alder. You may refer to me as Champion Ghetsis. And I demand that Unova get on its knees before me. Alder scowled. “Of course not! And if you want that, you’re talking to the wrong guy. I’m not the Champion anymore. Talk to Iris if you must.” Ghetsis smirked. “Very well. If that is what I must do.”
Ghetsis hung up and called Iris. “Hello, Iris,” he greeted. Iris shot a spiteful look. “You’re a villain. What could you possibly want with me?” Ghetsis answered, “Why, I’d like to challenge you to a battle. One-on-one. Champion to Champion. The winner inherits the other’s region. Sound fair?” Iris looked offended. “Of course that’s not, ‘fair’! I wouldn’t give you Unova for the world!” Ghetsis’ expression darkened. “Would you do it for the life of your Haxorus?” Iris swallowed hard. “I’ll meet you at Alder’s house tomorrow.”
Tomorrow came quickly. Ghetsis took off on Hydreigon’s back early, headed toward Aspertia. He landed at Alder’s house safe and sound. He was greeted not by Iris, but to his surprise, the Shadow Triad, who surrounded someone that Ghetsis couldn’t see.
“We have told you,” one of the Shadows declared. “You are hated here in Unova. You should have fled. For your foolishness, you must be punished.” Ghetsis madly laughed. “I’ll show you! I’ll show you all! I can win this! I AM PERFECTION!”
The Shadows dispersed, showing the person behind them. He said nothing, but raised a PokeBall into the air. Ghetsis understood the gesture. “I will crush you, Benga! I am PERFECT! I CANNOT BE STOPPED!”
Benga grinned, but said nothing. A glimmer sparkled in his eye, as if to say, “We shall see.”
II: N
“Hilbert.” The boy threw his head behind his shoulder. He said nothing, but his face lit up. Obviously he was surprised to see N. “That dream...,” N murmured. “You said you had a dream. Did that dream come true?”
Hilbert shook his head. N looked at him with a hint of despair. “Is that so? Why is that?”
Hilbert stared at the floor. He quietly drew a Master Ball from his pocket, and threw it at the floor. Nothing came out.
“You don’t mean-”
Hilbert nodded. “Ghetsis absorbed Reshiram? That means he has his hands on White Kyurem, and I’d wager the first thing he’ll do with it is put an end to you and Nate. We have to stop him.”
Hilbert looked up, and his lips actually parted to form a word. “Zekrom.” N’s eyes teared up. “Zekrom is... elsewhere. What’s important is that we make sure that White Kyurem is stopped.” Hilbert nodded, and threw a Ball into the air, releasing a Swoobat. He nodded at N with a faint smile, as if to say, “We shall see.”
III: Ghetsis
“Latios, show this guy! DragonBreath!” A harsh fire burned in Latias’ eyes as he fired the blue flame infused with dragon power. It smashed into the White Kyurem, but it shook it off like it was nothing. “Kyurem, Ice Burn.”
The mighty dragon roared as it fired off a icy beam, which was surrounded by flame. It crashed into Latios, sending him backward and crashing into Alder’s house, destroying it and causing Latios to faint.
“Ugh- what a jerk! Latios come back... Volcarona, fill in for for him!” The huge volcanic moth entered the battlefield. “Volcarona, Heat Wave!” Volcarona opened its mouth and let loose a huge wave of hot breath that wrapped around White Kyurem. It burned up, and it screamed. “Kyurem, Hyper Voice.” The dragon leapt out of the way of the Heat Wave, and shrieked. The terrible sound filled the ears of Volcarona, and it couldn’t take it. It fell to the ground, defeated.
“Gr! I’ll give it to you, you’re strong- but you’re fighting for the wrong cause! I will defeat you!” Benga exclaimed. “Garchomp, and center!” The big land shark appeared, hollering its name. “Garchomp, Dragon Rush!” The thing roared, then slammed its tail down, hitting Kyurem with it. The icy beast seceded, roaring in anguish. It was near defeat. “Kyurem, don’t stop now- Draco Meteor!” Burning purple meteors showered down on Garchomp, burning him and ultimately defeating him.
Benga sucked the dragon back into the ball. His knees were week. “Gramps, I... lost.” Alder nodded. “Indeed. You tried, Benga. That’s what matters.”
Iris strode out of the destroyed house, here hair tied up in a graceful way, wearing a big, beautiful dress. “Ghetsis, I’ve heard much about you. And in that time, the only thing I wish to do is destroy you. I know that with every piece of your existence, you want to win. You want your plan to fall into place. I’m sorry, Mr. Harmonia. I can’t let that happen. But you sure can try!”
A Haxorus appeared on the ground in front of them. “Alright, Haxorus! Flamethrower!” A jet of flames shot from its mouth, consuming Kyurem and knocking it out in one hit. Ghetsis didn’t even flinch. “That’s not an issue,” he assured. “I’m just getting started.”
Ghetsis sent out a Genesect. “Are you ready to lose, Champion Iris?” he asked. Iris slapped a determined look on her face. “I was going to ask you the same thing, Champion Ghetsis.”
“Genesect, Bug Buzz!” The insect-like sound protruded from it, stinging Hydreigon’s ears. It roared in anguish, then hit the ground, knocked out.
And the same thing happened four more times. The fate of Unova hung in the ability of Aggron. He’d better win.
Both: I
“Genesect, take this Burn Drive, and use your signature move!” The fiery laser smashed Aggron in his chest. One more hit would put him out of the game. “I’m counting on this, Genesect. As worthless as you may be biologically, you have proved useful. Prove that I’m right and CONSUME that Aggron.”
“Not so fast!” Ghetsis looked up into the sky. A huge Black Kyurem floated in the sky, with three familiar faces on it. “Kyurem, Freeze Shock!” Enveloped in an Icy electricity, the dragon slammed into Genesect.
It lay on the ground, beaten. “You’re not getting away with this again! I’m ashamed to have ever called you my father!”
Ghetsis screamed at the air. “No! N, you fool! Nothing will get in the way of my plan this time, not even you! This plan is flawless! I will prove victorious!” An insane laugh came from him. “We’re going to put an end to you once and for all, Ghetsis!”
The maniacal laugh was cut short. “You wouldn’t,” Ghetsis said, partially aware that he very well might. “I would. Kyurem, finish him!”
A scream rung out in Unova. A scream no one would ever forget.
