Yeah. I'm starting a Mario Fanfic. It's my first time on this board, so.... if I did something wrong, I apologize. I only have the prologue so far, but I'll add more. (These are my rough drafts. Some places are made up, and I'm a little bad with names, so I apologize once more. There is no Mario or Luigi, or Toad, or Princess Toadstool. The only original protagonist so far I believe is Yoshi.)
It has been sworn upon their grave that they would not tell. It has been a long kept secret, and nobody knows except for the 8 koopa kids, and their father Bowser. The many minions of Bowser appear to be normal, and bad creatures who live to bring an end to rebels. However, it's much more complicated then that. When a enemy can no longer fight, he/she usually goes through the process of mating. Once this happens, all creatures have someway of reproducing, whether it be gunpowder bullet bill cocoons, or chain chomp eggs. It could even be a small baby in a foot ball helmet. (Don't ask how they do it.) These eggs are collected, and brought to the chamber underneath Bowser's castle, where they go through a long process of mind boggling machines, altering the poor baby's genetics and DNA. These machines were designed to tweak the minds of all of the minions to be the same, "Eliminate enemies at all costs." However, these machines sometimes mess up and cause mutations, in which the baby grows stronger then normal, and they grow with a pure soul, knowing that they indeed have a future, and their reason for serving Bowser is as it should be, a job. These babies grow, and are collected all into the castle on Yoshi's Island. The inhabitants of the island, who were secretly against Bowser, were long threatened not to wander into the castles, so the secret remained as it was. The castle was then burned, along with the "Pure" minions inside. With the help of Kamek, a new castle is always reconstructed, ready to take on more. But sometimes, minions escape, and find out that Iggy indeed owns a different castle, and that they were hidden from the truth all that time. This is the story of one of those escaped minions, who stands up, and decides to no longer hide anymore.
