    Welcome. Rebecca didn't really do much with new events, but catching up is always important. Although I did ignore most of the forest group posts and only skim over the whole deal with the absol... ^^; It's both awesome and intimidating that we have 38 pages of this and I've played since the beginning. This is the longest lasting RP I've been in so far!

    Aw, thanks to you too. I really enjoy interacting with your characters, they're so diverse and just awesome.

    Also, what does Aryan look like now that he's a hitmonchan? Lately I've been doing Sanctic art and I'm wondering what his appearance is so that I can draw him.

    Any title is fine, I suppose. She'd call it best friend, but I'm not sure what Aryan would say. I suppose she would still count as a mentor to him? Good thing that he'd probably be there, then. I'm handwaving her not knowing whether Aryan's there or not as her being half asleep, but still if she didn't see that it would probably say something about her observation skills. xD

    Yeah. Well, what happened basically is that the Anna found the group and the Crusaders did too. Arylett transformed into a humanoid-thing (I asked her and she said she wasn't quite human) and held the Crusaders off before she fainted. The group then fought off the rest of the Crusaders and put down the Luminal Barrier. Then the group found Emile and Matthew and fled. The car broke down on the beach and now Anna's charging it up. Also a few other pokemon have come to investigate.

    Does that sound understandable?

    Heh, the being a squishy human is something I'm going to have her ramble about. Everyone goes on a pokemon journey sometime (except in Lasvion, of course), and if all her friends are staying pokemon, well...

    Summer is wonderful, yes. :D Rebecca's probably about to coast on interactions, I guess, because she's probably going to conclude that it's silly to fret over the whole transforming deal.

    So we did the timeskip! I'm writing up a post but so I don't godmod I'm making it vague where Aryan is. Where are you planning for him to be? I'm not done with the post (it's pretty long and even then I can wait a while) so I can certainly adjust it if need be.

    Hmm... maybe you should PERUSE either the WIKI or the COMIC? Like I previously stated, it will take a LONG TIME to FINISH the STORY, but by then you will have a BETTER UNDERSTANDING of the characters and the RELATIONSHIPS they SHARE. I do AGREE with what you're SAYING about EQUIUS, but sadly the only other OPTION of a male TROLL who has a MOIRAIL would be ERIDAN, who is most certainly NOT LIKE ARYAN. HOWEVER, REBECCA once again shares similarities with FEFERI. Perhaps REBECCA is too GOOD of a MOIRAIL? She did actually influence ARYAN's personality instead of just RESTRAINING him.

    I must AGREE with that, and also ADD my CONFUSION over why I never REALIZED that before. And while the RELATIONSHIP is not as EQUAL in ways, it has some very AMUSING DIALOGUE. (NEPETA has called EQUIUS lame for not ROLEPLAYING with her, and also made fun of his SERIOUSNESS.)

    I know. x3 Even better is when you type with the quirks... while the puns are tricky, I very much enjoy them. For example, my text written in Nepeta's quirk:

    Possibly. It would depend on the Jolteon's personality, and whether or not Matthew would grow to trust him/her. He is quite paranoid, after all, although he doesn't always show it.

    Anyway, Rebecca and Aryan are totally moirails. I'll copypaste a few descriptions of it, and then I'll link to the characters who are somewhat similar. (NOTE: Aryan is who he is only because Rebecca is who she is! You might be able to find a better one.)

    MOIRAILS ARE (FROM THE COMIC):

    This quadrant presides over MOIRALLEGIENCE, the other conciliatory relationship. A reasonable human translation would be the concept of a soul mate, but in a more platonic sense, and with a more specific social purpose.

    Trolls are a very angry and violent race. Some are more hot-tempered and dangerous than others, to the extent that if left to their own devices, they would present a serious threat to society, or even to themselves. Such trolls will have an instinctive pale attraction to a more even-tempered troll, who may become their MOIRAIL. The moirail is obliged to pacify the other, to function as the better half. The two partners in a strong pale relationship will serve to balance and complement each other's emotional profiles, and thus allow their other relationships to be more successful.

    MOIRAILS ARE (FROM THE WIKI):

    Moirallegiance (derived from the three Moirae, or Fates, and the word allegiance) is a process that occurs between a troll and their "moirail". It is a form of guardianship, but it isn't simply about being platonic soul bros forever, see Andrew's comment. A troll is compelled by fate to watch over their moirail and keep them in line. Despite the platonic appearance of this role (as we currently understand it) to us humans, trolls consider it a type of romance. It is one of the two conciliatory relationships, the other being auspistice. Moirallegiance's quadrant is known as the pale quadrant. As it is a redrom, it is linked to pity in the same way that black romance (blackrom) is linked to hate.

    Moirallegiance is a portmanteau of "moira" (fated) and "allegiance." This kind of relationship may be most similar to the Greek concept of στοργή (storgē), or "like family," which can be defined as "mom shut up i'm not a baby."

    AND NOW FOR THE CHARACTERS:

    One of the main moirail couples are EQUIUS and NEPETA. EQUIUS is very STRONG, but not exactly like ARYAN for a variety of reasons. NEPETA, on the other hand, seems a lot like REBECCA because she is also quite OPTIMISTIC. HOWEVER, she is very CATLIKE ( REBECCA is not a CAT) and participates in ROLEPLAYING, which despite being very fun has no evidence to REBECCA appreciating it.

    There are a few other OPTIMISTS that REBECCA resembles, but because they do not have moirails MAI figured that it wasn't worth mentioning.

    ALSO, typing in the style that HOMESTUCK uses is fun.

    Have you made your decision? I could explain it to you now, or you could read and find it for yourself. However, it took me a long time to get to that point (there are five "acts" so far, and the thing is on the fifth one).

    On them resembling certain characters... if you tilt your head a little. They're similar, but they both have key differences.

    So, do you want me to tell you? Either way would be fine; it'd be pretty cool if you ended up liking the series. After all, having friends to obsess with certainly is fun~ :)

    At this point, there isn't really any reasons for the group to split up. The only way the group would split up is if Emile, after he rejoined the group, went off on his own, and even then only a few people would join him.

    Team Theta is the first group I introduced. It's one of several patrol groups,and thus they have a squad name. I chose Theta because Alpha or Beta is too common, plus I like how it sounds(i'm odd). Sean is the head of the entire Oarenin City Security Force, and thus he has taken charge of the situation. The control center is within Oarenin, although its deep in the city-much deeper than where Emile and Matthew are. And their mission is, very basically, what you said: Intercept, kill, or perform recon on the Unworths, the first two being the preferred options.

    I knew it was a move tutor move-its the only way that the Ralts line learns it too. The wrecking ball idea seems interesting. Would clear out a small room pretty quickly and easily. Psy would just need to beware of committing friendly fire.

    That...seems like a good idea, actually. It would also suite him since he likes to teleport around so much, and you could interpret Telepathy as the user teleporting out of the way of the move. Plus, it seems like it would suite his character better than synchronize or trace.

    I generally plan on them actually trying to track down the Unworths-both in Oarenin and in the hospital. Failing that, they want to be able to actually know what all of the species look like so that they can pass it around the Crusader ranks, so as to always be prepared against those species. Sorry that this is so ridiculously general-this is basically what the Crusader's goals are in general for situations like this(or how I envision they would be like)
